  1. Thanks! I would recommend using the stud.io file as it has all the correct parts, the LDD file has some different parts as LDD is out of date.
  2. Thanks! If I was to make it again I think that I would have made it a extra 16 studs longer.
  3. This lego great ball contraption module uses a set of "forks" attached to technic lift arms to lit the GBC balls to the next module. The lift arms have to lift when they can't turn any farther. The mechanism is very reliable, but it can't be running to slow. The mechanism that loads the forks looks weird, but it does work well. I had a hard time getting the design right but it works well now. If you want the LDD or Stud.io file you can get them here.
  4. So sorry, I guess they did not upload properly. They should be there now, if they are not then they are on Rebrickable here. Sorry that it did not work the first time. (thanks for telling me that they were not there :)
  5. Thanks! That could look very cool, especially if I hid some of the mechanism. I don’t normally build themed modules because they use so many more pieces than no themed ones, but I might try this one.
  6. Great way to make that with the technic pieces, I have wanted to make a ramp like that but not "waste" tiles on it, I think I will try to make with technic pieces like yours.
  7. This Lego great ball contraption module uses mechanism with the transparent food covering type pieces (I have no idea what they are actually called) It is a reliable module, even though it looks like it is flexing a lot in the video. The tightness of the mechanism that holds the balls is able to be adjusted very easily to make sure that they pick up the balls each time. I have (as you can see) finally got some proper GBC balls to run my modules with. This module can hold one layer of them in the input bin before they get stuck, I would guess that that is about 30 - 35 balls. Like most of my recent modules it is compatible with my power sharing standard. The LDD file is on bricksafe here.
  8. Yes, I made two versions of it but they were not that reliable. Version 2. Version 1. (sorry for the horrible video quality)
  9. It almost feels like they make it hard to use so that they don't get as many orders through it.
  10. Yes, I got them from their bricks and pieces, I had to order them over the phone because their website checkout was not working. Their website could definitely use some work in some areas.
  11. Finally orderd some proper GBC balls (as long as the order went through properly, their website has been working about as well as my work in progress GBC modules for these last few days) it is meant to take 5 to 8 business days for them to show up so hopefully in time for my next video.
  12. Thanks! It is quite simple when you realize how it works.
  13. Thanks! I still like the brickworld modules, even though there are so many of them.
  14. I came up with the mechanism for this module by accident when I went to put a axle through the middle of the gear, and thought "I wonder why I have never used the other axle holes for anything" and that is how this module started. The mechanism quite reliable, as long as you have the timing between the two parts of the module is right. The timing is easy to set up by holding back the last gear while the mdoule is running. Instructions are on Rebrickable here. I know that I am still using non-lego balls. Yesterday I went to buy them from lego bricks and pieces, I added them to my bag and then went to add the lego hogwarts express set to my bag as well. In the time that it took me to do that they went out of stock, hopefully they will be back in stock in the next few days. More photos.
  15. Hahaha, thanks ;) I have always wanted to make one of those but I don't have any of the minifigure legs with springs in them.
  16. Maybe if you made a escapement mechanism and attached one of the pull back motors to it, that way you would not need expensive power functions parts.
  17. Maybe thay could use the desighn for a brickworld brickworld module. (They should put it on lego ideas)
  18. I live live in New Zealand so I get destroyed on the shipping rates. Buying 25 GBC balls cost $0.98 each but shipping for 25 will cost me $20.00. (Getting 100 balls would cost $80 in shipping)
  19. I think lego might have realized that GBC builders are buying them all. They have limited it to 25 per order and give a message that you can't buy more than that if you try to add more.
  20. Do you know if they are still molding more of them?
  21. Thanks! I am planning to get some proper GBC balls soon, hopefully in the next few months.
  22. Thanks! I think that it could be possible. Maybe by having it load and unload one ball at a time and only rotate by 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees. Thank you! I think that it will be quite challenging but fun to build.
