  1. So for the set, we'll have the match ups of Harry vs. Voldemort, Neville vs. Scabior, and Molly vs. Bellatrix. Hopefully the report just missed a brickbuilt giant or spider for McGonagall to fight (and ideally a couple knight statues to back her up)
  2. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that LEGO will release a Lizard minifigure somewhere, whether it be the 4+ set, a polybag, or even the upcoming Visual Dictionary. He shouldn't really need any new parts.
  3. Considering we already got the BoH Neville variant in the 2022 advent calendar, would LEGO include a minifigure that was introduced in an advent calendar in a set (does that have precedent?), or would they find some way to make a set version different? That's the main thing making me question if he'll be included.
  4. My current prediction is Harry, Ron, McGonagall, Voldemort, Scabior, and Narcissa. Hopefully there's some buildable statues, and perhaps a spider and giant included.
  5. He also confirmed that the castle has minifigures, with a separate set (unknown build) having a bunch of minidolls.
  6. Surely they'd have to include Cinderella this time if that's the case.
  7. Looking through the Reddit threads, FluffySky6 doesn't remember seeing any traditional Disney minifigures (Such as Mickey or Minnie) in the minifigure lineup, which seems to be entirely focused on princesses and princes. He also stated that the castle has a printed clock that he directly compares to the one on the 40478 Mini Disney Castle, but larger.
  8. I still feel like we'd need to be getting a Disney+ CMF series every year to keep up with all the content if we don't start getting sets.
  9. At this point, I'm hoping that if 2024 has to focus on media (though I'd prefer comic sets), that they do a full Batman: The Animated Series wave, at least beyond just the Gotham City Skyline set. I think it would make sense considering that the new cowl is a great fit for it, and it'd allow some of the Skyline set's minifigures to be available elsewhere (though I'd assume one or two would probably stay exclusive) Also, I'd really want to get TAS versions of Two-Face (seriously, it's been almost two decades since our last black and white suited Two-Face), Clayface (could use the Vidiyo slime head and the new Baymax arms), Ventriloquist, and Mad Hatter.
  10. Maybe the Batwing design from The Flash could be included? It is a different design from the 1989 version we're getting as a set. I'd be surprised if the Bat-Skiboat wasn't included. I think the biggest things that disappoint me is that we can't get any new Bat-Family members, new villains, or a proper trophy room if it's the Keaton version of the cave. Plus there's less potential for interesting easter eggs that could be included. Because of that, the Batcave went from being the D2C I would've probably been most interested in, to now sitting below two (possibly three depending on what the Marvel D2C is) other D2C sets for this year in terms of hype I'm interested in.
  11. Well, I guess I'm saving $450.
  12. I suspect getting all the important characters from Fury of the Gods would have required an Eternals-sized wave of sets. That wouldn't have been very hard to do considering the number of notable creatures/locations, but I guess LEGO didn't want to take the risk.
  13. Falconfan seemed to think the new cowl should be in all the upcoming sets, at least going by the description of his post on the cowl.
  14. After watching it, I feel like Shazam: Fury of the Gods could have easily made for a good three-set wave.
  15. I'm pretty sure the bonus level for LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 featured interactable versions of the 2010-2011 sets scattered throughout it, though they didn't really have proper exteriors to explore. I could see something similar for the newer sets being included in the game if it has a bonus level.
  16. I'm hoping we at least find out what design the Batcave is based on. I find it difficult to believe that new cowl was specifically intended for Keaton Batman, even if he'll be using it. Comic would have the widest appeal, but TAS would also make sense for the cowl design, and could allow the Gotham Skyline set to reuse some minifigures. EDIT: It's Disney and Pac-Man, not DC apparently. I'm underwhelmed.
  17. Now I'm wondering again if the Batcave could be from TAS.
  18. Looks like the new Keaton Batman (with new cowl) is now on IG under the usual hashtag.
  19. If we continue getting more waves, I wonder if LEGO would continue sticking to remakes of scenes we got sets of in 2008-2009, or if they'll throw in some stuff we haven't gotten before. I'd like to see KOTCS get something if this revival of the theme lasts more than two waves. An updated version of Temple of the Crystal Skull or the Jungle Cutter would be neat to see.
  20. The Idol Temple looks like pretty much the definitive set to get from this wave, but the other two look like a good value as well. Given that the Temple of Doom looked like it had the most room for improvement in terms of design and structure compared to the other sets, it being delayed to be revamped makes the most sense based on what we know. I feel like LEGO wouldn't let the set be acknowledged at all if it was definitively canceled entirely.
  21. A half hour of refreshing both Instagram and YouTube later, and still nothing.
  22. I'm hoping whatever news is coming in the next 25 minutes won't disappoint, because I am far too eager to hear something new.
  23. I wonder if the arms for Baymax in the upcoming Disney series would work for a minifigure Clayface if they were recolored.
  24. I wonder if any minifigures included in the Batcave would have been intended to be featured in LEGO Batman 4 (at least before it was put on hold in favor of Harry Potter). I'm not sure what the exact timeline for overlap would have been, but I'm assuming the Batcave, as a large D2C, would have started development around 2020. If they bring back the 2021 bigfig design, Bane makes the most sense to use it for. I feel like people have been asking for a bigfig comic Bane for at least most of a decade now, and he wouldn't need any new molded parts (Killer Croc could technically be done without new molds too, but would be missing the molded back ridges of the 2016 bigfig, I feel like more people would prefer a minifigure of Clayface, who could be done well with the Vidiyo slime head, Solomon Grundy would need a new big hairpiece, and King Shark would need a new head.) I've speculated that the studs on the back of the 2021 bigfig mold likely could have specifically been added with Bane in mind, especially if the Batcave was already in early development by then. I would certainly hope we get something on the Batcave. Wasn't it around March two years ago that we started gradually getting hints on who was going to be included in the Daily Bugle?
  25. I still think it'd be really weird if they don't bring back the 2021 bigfig design after using it a grand total of one time for Thanos. It even has studs on the back, which would be perfect for Bane, who wouldn't need any new molded parts.
