After watching the latest She-Hulk episode, I really wish we had gotten a set. -

It feels like LEGO has still been very evasive when it comes to making sets for R-rated movies, even after 18+ sets became a thing. Still, Deadpool 3 probably has a better chance than most to get something. -

I'm hoping that LEGO is willing to do at least one 18+ set for Deadpool 3. -

I feel like LEGO could get away with using the series 20 Viking helmet for Eowyn. -

The Balrog scene is pretty much one of the only notable scenes that could technically include the entire Fellowship in one set, other than another Moria set or Rivendell. That said, if LEGO makes more sets besides the D2C, they'll probably want to split up the Fellowship between multiple sets instead. -

Now that the Avatar sets are reintroducing long arms and legs for minifigures, I wonder if those could be used for a Sauron minifigure... -

It begins...(again) I won't be complaining if Bag End is a D2C, considering the old set is practically going for D2C prices currently anyways. LOTR has great potential for D2C sets overall, considering how many notable massive locations there are (The two towers, Rivendell, Helm's Deep, Minas Tirith) that standard sets can't really do justice to. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to some representation for the Hobbit too, as many of those old sets had a lot of room for improvement, especially with the Battle of the Five Armies wave. -
After rewatching Avatar through the 3D rerelease in theaters, I do think the selection for the current wave of sets is pretty solid. There's a few noticeable omissions among the minifigure lineup (Grace's avatar, human Norm, Eytukan, and maybe more RDA soldiers would have been appreciated) and I would have liked to see how LEGO would have done a couple of the other creatures, such as the Hammerhead Titanothere and the Viperwolf. Most of the other vehicles would have needed to be scaled down significantly to be made into sets, so I can see why LEGO skipped those. Overall, I do think the most important stuff from the movie was covered. Once the sequel is released, I'll be curious to see how the set selection of the next wave stacks up.

I think the TLBM Series 2 CMF Dolphin Rider Batman's torso and the Ewok Village Leia's legs, plus one's preferred choice of head and hairpiece would get a solid Tarzan. The CMF series skipping over Tarzan wouldn't be a huge loss compared to many other Disney characters with more elaborate designs. -

I'm hoping the Miles in the upcoming set isn't a total repeat. I wouldn't mind getting a variation of the 2021 webbed outfit design without the jacket. That would only really need a new torso print. -

LEGO's recent Instagram post about Batman minifigures over the past decade might just be the most they've acknowledged the 10 year anniversary of the Super Heroes theme. -

There really should have been another Disney+ CMF series this year if they aren't going to bother with sets. Too much content is getting released for a 12 figure CMF series to adequately cover if it's being released 2+ years after the first. Even then, I imagine a decent number of notable characters would have been left out (What If?... got extra attention and still ended up with major omissions) And considering how often characters in the MCU get new outfit designs, waiting for show characters to be released in movie sets is only a partial solution. -

As I'm not interested in the Black Panther bust or a $500 Hulkbuster, it looks like the Sanctum Sanctorum is the only Marvel D2C I have to worry about saving up for. -

I wonder if there will be any Pixar characters included. We've only gotten a total of 6 Pixar minifigures across the previous two series, and only from Toy Story and The Incredibles at that, which makes me think any Pixar inclusions for this series will be extremely limited at best, especially if we're only getting 12 minifigures this time (though I would certainly hope Disney pushes for 18, considering that would still divide evenly into a case of 36) -

At this rate, it would take a really good minifigure selection to increase the appeal of this set. If it can include characters like T'Chaka, Ramonda, Zuri, Ross, Ayo, and maybe some other characters/variants we haven't gotten, perhaps even extra printing for Black Panther, that might generate more hype. -

Sorcerer Mickey seems like a likely choice. Pinocchio makes sense with the new movie. I could see Belle and the Beast being included, as I was surprised they were left out of the previous series. If the series includes Incredibles minifigures yet again, I think Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl in their original costumes seem like the most plausible choice. Really there's countless potential options, which makes me a bit annoyed that there can only be 12 this time. -

I still think the existence of the LEGO Movie 2 Green Lantern figure is a bit weird, as I'm pretty sure that variation never appeared in the actual movie, leaving me to assume it was based on something that got changed late in development. I honestly don't mind the pattern of every Green Lantern minifigure we get (TLM2 aside) being a different character each time. While I wouldn't mind a new version of Hal, I think I'd be more hyped if Guy Gardner or Kyle Rayner was the next Green Lantern minifigure we got. I'm not sure if it would capture his size in a lot of portrayals as well, but it probably would be easier than working around the new bigfig sculpt. -

It's unfortunate that DC sets haven't yet taken advantage of the new and more versatile bigfig design introduced with Thanos last year. There's still a lot of unmade DC characters that should be bigfigs (Doomsday, Solomon Grundy, Atrocitus, Swamp Thing, King Shark) If we get another CMF series or more polybags, I wouldn't mind if they made a couple characters that would finish some incomplete lineups (Samurai with Gleek, Saturn Girl to name a couple more notable examples) -

I'm hoping that if we get more comic Batman sets next year, we can get comic versions of Black Adam and Dr. Fate included somewhere. Another CMF series would also be nice, though the number of minifigures being reduced to 12 wouldn't leave much room for new characters, as I'm sure at least 6 or so would be new variants of characters that were already in the previous series. -

There's something odd about the fact that it seems like recent Spider-Man sets over the last year have been MCU based, 4+ Spidey based, large buildable figures, or part of the mech line. It feels like the 2019 comic Spider-Man line is effectively over, and while I won't miss the random Spider-vehicles, it was a good source of comic Spider-Man minifigures that the other lines aren't really doing (though the Morbius thing makes me hopeful that the mech line will include more Spider-Man villains we haven't gotten yet), and the Daily Bugle was a good set to end on (Though another Spider-Man themed modular to complement the Bugle would be nice to see in the future). -

The way LEGO DC has been handled continues to really makes me wish that the LEGO Batman Movie sequel hadn't been cancelled. Considering that was going to have a bigger focus on the Justice League, we probably would have gotten a lot of characters we'd be unlikely to get any time soon otherwise (Though I am still irrationally annoyed years later that the TLBM sets and CMF series skipped Samurai and Gleek despite them being in the movie) -

So the previous Spidey and His Amazing Friends sets featured Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Doc Ock, Green Goblin and Rhino. It looks like the remaining characters that could be included as of Season 2 would consist of: Black Panther Iron Man Ant-Man Wasp Reptil Electro Black Cat Sandman -

I wonder if the Battle of Wakanda Hulkbuster will feature a new Cull Obsidian to go with the new Ebony Maw from the Sanctum Sanctorum. Maybe we can get M'Baku's Infinity War design as well. Some generic Wakandan warriors would be nice to see, but they'll probably just include a couple Outriders. I wonder which movie the Quinjet will be from.
