It'd also be neat if Hogwarts Legacy designs were used as reference for a Peeves minifigure, and perhaps the interior of an Azkaban set. It would make sense for Ollivanders to get a scaled down release, as similar to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, I imagine there are plenty of people who would want a representation of it without having to buy a $400+ D2C. 76439 would be the same price as the recent Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, though with less pieces. I assume that Ollivanders would be a smaller build than WWW, and maybe Madam Malkin's could end up getting a more substantial build than the Owl Post Office. Something similar to Hogsmeade in terms of build sizes could work. In terms of potential minifigures, at minimum I'd imagine we'd get Ollivander, Madam Malkin (maybe using the Magic Awakened design?), and a reused Harry. Hagrid also seems likely, and maybe Draco as a reference to his first appearance in the books? I imagine Madam Malkin's could also have a couple mannequins too.

I just got the Temple of the Golden Idol as a Christmas Gift! I look forward to building it, though I can only hope that LEGO decides to revisit the franchise again someday

It's really a shame that between the two Aquaman movies, we only got a single set for the first movie and nothing for the second. Both movies had a lot of cool designs that would have translated into neat sets and minifigures.

After watching Aquaman 2, I'm a bit bummed out that LEGO didn't bother releasing any sets for it (which about sums up every DC movie I've watched this year). At least Spin Master has been putting out some stuff.

Is anyone with the Avengers Tower set currently trying to build a Santa hat to put on the A logo? I know I'd be doing that if I currently had the set.

Apparently the Blade movie is going to be rated R according to what the director briefly mentions here, so it's probably good that we already got a comic Blade minifigure at least.

I'm not holding my breath for Deadpool 3 or Daredevil: Born Again tie-ins from LEGO, but if Deadpool and Wolverine turned up in an Avengers movie later, I suspect LEGO might use that as an opportunity to release the movie versions. Similarly, if Daredevil were to appear in something like Spider-Man 4 (in a supporting role, not a cameo), I feel reasonably confident he'd make it into a set.

I guess we'll have to see what happens if Deadpool turns up in an Avengers movie... It is kind of funny that LEGO apparently made a TV-MA show minifigure by accident though.

If the other sets are from BTAS, I'd expect to see Batman, Joker, and Harley from the Skyline reused. Phantasm would probably stay exclusive, and Mr. Freeze could go either way. I'd definitely consider it a missed opportunity if we didn't get TAS versions of Two-Face or Clayface though. I don't think a BTAS Clayface minifigure would even need a new mold, considering they could probably just use the Vidiyo slime head and Baymax arms. A BTAS wave would also probably be our best shot at finally getting Mad Hatter and Ventriloquist in any form.

After seeing the movie, I'm now more bummed out at the lack of a Blue Beetle set. At least I already have the 2016 minifigure.

A recolored version of that Moon Knight hood seems like it could work well for Raven...

Yeah, I was thinking that some characters that got skipped over in Series 1 and 2 should have an opportunity to get released, which I don't think would happen if there's only a 12 minifigure series once every two years (and a couple occasional sets for animated shows) Heck, the Ms. Marvel and Secret Invasion shows got skipped entirely!

I wonder if there's any chance of the September 2024 CMF series being a third Marvel Disney+ series. That might be the only way LEGO could try catching up with how quickly new content has been coming out, unless they start making sets for the live-action shows.

Trying to look up pictures of the shops makes me think the smaller right building has a closer resemblance to the Magical Menagerie. The color pattern and window structure of the left two story building seems closer to Slug and Jiggers Apothecary.

I wonder if Ultron would be given long arms and legs this time.

If we get anything for ToD's 40th anniversary, a new Shanghai chase set seems like the safest bet. The odds of getting a representation of the temple itself seems to depend entirely on what the exact reason for removing the set from this year's lineup was. A bridge set could still include most of the same minifigures, so I'd take that as a compromise. Or maybe The Last Crusade's 35th anniversary will get acknowledged instead. Or perhaps this theme really is over now, but that would just be rather underwhelming.

I'd be very surprised if Gaston was the only minifigure from Beauty and the Beast we end up with.

I'm definitely hoping we get at least a couple more comic Spider-Man sets next year with new character inclusions. I wonder if there's a chance of getting another Spider-Man D2C for 2024 considering it would mark three years since the release of the Daily Bugle, considering how well that set seemed to sell.

Interesting that it looks to use the previous 1989 cowl+cape combined piece, but with the Returns insignia. I'm assuming that this variant will be also included in the D2C.

If we get any additional Battle of Hogwarts sets, I wouldn't be overly excited if they went with maskless generic Death Eaters. They might as well include the Carrows instead at that point.

It'd be neat if we could finally get something from Hunchback of Notre Dame or The Emperor's New Groove through that challenge.

It's interesting comparing the 2018-2020 Hogwarts sets to the 2021-present sets. The 2018-2020 sets were more solid as standalone sets, but the current system is pretty fun to come up with new configurations for. A decent number of the sets definitely work much better when treated as expansions for the larger system than as sets in their own right (Looking at you, Fluffy Encounter).

If there's two Batman minifigures included in the Batcave, while one of them must be the Batman Returns suit, are we assuming the other is the 1989 suit (which we must already be getting with the Batmobile and Batwing sets), or is there a chance that LEGO will throw us a bone and include the Batsuit from The Flash (which was presumably completely ready to go)?

I thought FluffySky6 didn't remember seeing any traditional Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie included with the castle (though FluffySky6 could have misremembered or didn't see the full lineup)

This year has underwhelmed me. No sets for Shazam: Fury of the Gods No sets for The Flash after thinking we'd at least get one. The Keaton Batman sets seem like a mixed bag, with the vehicle sets at least sounding interesting to pick up, but the Batcave sounding like a pass. I really wish they had gone with a comic or TAS version of the Batcave at such a large price point. No Blue Beetle sets that I've heard about Maybe an Aquaman set if we're lucky I'm really hoping 2024 can impress me. A full TAS wave to accompany the Skyline set would be a solid choice if they are determined to maintain a Batman-centric approach.
