  1. I love a good Amtrak. F59PHI's and F40PH are my favourite american passenger designation locomotives. I think the Amtrak would be a good idea.
  2. There once was a spammer selling cream, Although all is not what it seems. I use some expecting hormonal growth, but instead I find hair in between. That's the best I could come up with.
  3. Yeah, N-Pop Girl is so damn kawaii.
  4. Bricks & Pieces and Pick a brick are the services I use. Other than that, I get a classic creator box. It depends what is near by.
  5. I prefer the Maunsell shunter, aka D3/12 Didn't some of the class 08s have air whistles instead of a regular horn? I can't remember.
  6. A few Garretts attempted banking, But in the end, the bank broke them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lickey_Incline#Bankers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_engine Whoops, going off the rails. EDIT: Speaking of GWR, I live in GWR Territory. More specifically Wiltshire. I've been to STEAM twice. Loved seeing City of Truro's side skirts partially covering the wheels. Thanks Ashley Dace for the photo. She's a beauty! Looks like she may have the class C headlamp arrangement on. Or it could be the express head code, just at a different angle.
  7. Another favourite, which inspired me to build the 0-4-4-0 mallet tank was these: The picture above is Pakis Baru 5. She's now in the UK. http://www.statfoldbarnrailway.co.uk/locomotives_Mallet.php A mallet tank is quite a rarity to be fair, but that's why they're so cool.
  8. Ok, linked in signature.
  9. I'm a fan of the reading crusader Steamliner locomotives myself. Regarding the topic, yeah, I thought it would be the wrong area. Oh well.
  10. If this is in the wrong section, feel free to move. I'm a train nut. That means I like trains. However, there are a few trains that I think are really awesome. This can be for multiple reasons like how it looks to the various running gears. So, with that, my favourite locomotives are the GNR N2: Above photo taken by Tony Hisgett. The British Railways 9F, Black Prince: And this topic would not be complete without a diesel. My two favourite diesel locomotives are the BR class 17: Above photo by Geof Sheppard. And the NS Class 200: Ooh, this one has a crane. Photo by Joost J. Bakker. So, what are your favourite locomotives? Pictures aren't required.
  11. Yesterday, ordered another small lego storage cube, and ordered a few more parts including several white glow 1 stud round plates and metallic silver radiator grilles.
  12. So, in theory, we could have tenders that had either the 9v era motor or the PF motor. That would be awesome.
  13. Well done her! I recently bought two series 16 minifigure bags, hoping to get the babysitter minifigure. I didn't. I got the archer, and the emo dude with a scary storybook. Meh. Well, this morning, I ordered more bricks for my Alstad Project, and got a book for Dad's Christmas present off Amazon. EDIT: Forgot to mention that along with the bricks for Alstad, I got the winter town square kit. For no reason. Also, A small storage brick.
  14. Just got back into WoW and I've got a lot of catching up to do. At least last night, I completed Mythic Darkheart Thicket. I am not going there again.
  15. I wouldn't mind getting Hogwarts Express, or a shed with services for both diesel and steam. Complete with turntable. I want somewhere where I can park my 0-4-4-0T, other than my shelf. She's sitting on my display track.
  16. ,Hello there LEEEROOOOY JEEENKIIINS! (Right, stop that. That's silly. And a little bit suspect.) Sorry, my urge to get back into WoW is resurfacing...and Trainz: A New Era among other things. (I need a more powerful laptop.) Anyway, enjoy your time here.
  17. Yep, I had those in the works along with one of the other 6 iterations of Alstad.
  18. You mean something like this? Alstad is based on several shunters. It's got a bit of the BR Class 05: Photo by 37190 "Dalzell" It also has a bit of spain in it. like the RENFE 303.
  19. I built a prototype of Alstad in lego. Dang, I usually succeed in getting a good photo. But yeah, Got some more green parts in my lego shop basket, I had to dismantle my 0-6-2T to get the wheels. That thing could only handle gentle curves. Also, had to dismantle the Riddle Racer and the Propeller Plane for the parts.
  20. You sir, have some crazy imagination power there. Are you using the Mindstorms kit for this?
  21. Recently found out that the 0-6-2T I doesn't like severe curves, so I rebuilt it into a Prototype 0-6-0 Diesel shunter. Still can't believe I don't have any 6x6 plates of the green variety. Also, gave my 0-4-4-0T Mallet locomotive a tender. Because why not.

  22. The advent calendar that I ordered arrived today. I asked my mum to hide it. Yep, I live with my parents.
  23. Wasn't expecting that! Awesome build dude. love the detail you put into it. It's got the resemblance of a British EMU, with that colour scheme!
  24. Update time! I've added some more details to my Diesel Shunter project, and she's looking good! Noticeable features here are the addition of warning stripes and an engine access door, Also, the nameplate is longer! And yes, I kept it symmetrical. I'm gathering support, so any support button clicks are welcome! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/30877b62-576f-43d5-ba9e-dea4a35b3ef6
  25. You mean something like the LB&SCR E2 class? I would like to see the GNR N2 class, 1744, condenser and all, recreated into Lego. With working driving rods, and pistons. Yeah, my favourite tank locomotive is the GNR N2.
