Thanks all for the positive feedback Yes, they're indeed a bit too long. I built them that way for two reasons; one because I wanted to enphasize some details (like said 'front legs' and the 'eyes'); secondarly... because it was easier to do Btw, I'm glad I chose to build this mini, since it was a good opportunity to have a better look at the original model, and to get a better understanding of the design; I must admit I used to look at it and sell only the slug-like anterior; it was interesting to have to develope a good shape to include the back wheels?/shiels? and to ballance (as best as I could) the overall design LuxorV

Hi everybody, it's been a long time since I last posted in the Star wars Forum (apart for the Staff Contest). Today I want to share with you my last mini-scale creation: the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Classic side view It took me about 1 hour and two false starts to put it together; while it's not perfect, I'm very satisfied with what I got in the end. Hi there Lego_Warlord_8, welcome to EB. Personally, I use Corel Draw, and I know other peoople use Inkscape and MS Paint, as well as Adobe Illustrator. It's mostly a question of prefernece and experiance with one of those programs. If you are interested in learning how to make a decal with MS Paint, you can look at this Tutorial. And don't forget to check the Minifig Customization Index for other useful tools. BTW - I tried to send you this as PM, but then I remembered that members in the 'I'm new' group can't send/recive PMs . Anyway, I don't want it to sound like a restriction to you right the first days you're here, but could you please resize the picture you use in your signature, say to a maximum pixel height of 300 (as indicated in the Site Guidelines)? That would be very nice, since with a sign as big as yours actually is, it's difficult to see the post: it gets overhelmed by the signature itself. It's sad to hear what is happening to you, brickmania. When someone puts so much effort and passion in their hobby, and most of all when it becomes their job and way of earning a living for them and their family, respect and honesty are the most important things. MS Paint is included in Windows, I think you can find an on-line version here (sorry, page in Italian only), but it appears to be for FireFox only. For more information, I can give you a link to this. Hope it helps. LuxorV
