  1. Thanks IS I'll make sure to add them to the Space Index. LuxorV
  2. Nice rendition of the characters, smokebelch Did you ever read the book (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by P. K. Dick). That's even more strange [Trivia - that book is the source of the title of the current LEGO SW comic chapter] LuxorV
  3. Yes, you can, as long as you don't use actual existing teams' logos. We don't have a Zidane at hand to be the testimonial! Any fancy/invented team of baseball, volleyball, water polo, golf, ski, marathon, etc. is good. [On a side note, I was starting to wonder when/if somebody would have ever asked this ] LuxorV
  4. You're right, the Space section is very limited It would be a good thing to expand it I'm sure our decal designers here will comply in a short time LuxorV
  5. Nice custom, Spyder. I like the fact that you also added decals to the outside of the legs; that's a detail we don't see very often. Will be waiting to see more from you. LuxorV
  6. Nice creation, Artizan. I'm currently developing an increasing interest for the Terminator series, and TJD has always been my favourite one, so I'm planning some MOCs on that, but this little scene uses a style I wouldn't have thought about. Done LuxorV
  7. Well, nothing too surprising, isn't it? All the same, congratulations Hinckley for winning this competition , to TheBrickster for getting so close to winning when confronted with such a building monster ( ), and thanks to WhiteFang for organizing the contest and for giving us the motivatin to confront with a building style we (unfortunately) don't use very often LuxorV
  8. Sorry, I'm not familiar with this acronym; could you explain? Anyway, if you feel your requests are being ignored, please keep in mind that there is a Customization Contest going on right now, and all the activity related to decal requests is in a low period. I'm sure things will turn to normal within a few weeks LuxorV
  9. Give him some time, please! We are still not on a rush for now LuxorV
  10. I moved the deeplinks to the first post; thanks for providing them, clone killer Great customs, michaelozzie; now we just need to know which one you want to use as the entry (plus the famous 3 views of it: front back and side) LuxorV
  11. Great. Good luck LuxorV
  12. The folder is not public yet... Anyway, I seem to understand your entry is a new faction for the Pirate line in the form of a group of French Soldiers, right? Can you confirm this is a WIP for now and you'll post the 3 pictures of your entry single MF as required by the rules as soon as you have chosen it? Thanks LuxorV
  13. Welcome to EB It's always nice to have new members and customizers around. Please take some time to stop and say hello to the community here If you mean this one, then the answer is no. It would fall under the License group, and that's been excluded from this contest. But, you can make something like that and call it with another name, like a bunc of robots helping few men defeating an evil mastermind who trapped them in research space station somewhere. Please avoid too strict connection with the original one (no coincidental names, shapes and so on). After all, as it has been reported more than once, Adventurers is a something-like-Indy-but-not-really-it You can indeed build a bunch of MF for the theme, but only one (you'll have to clearly state which one in your entry thread) will be used as your entry. LuxorV
  14. Please avoid personal attacks, ok? If this thread has to be, then just say what you hate/don't like in the LEGO world (btw, I updated the title in this sense). Thanks LuxorV
  15. Good question! I never tried it too much. I have one head (a panda, if I remember well) which comes off easily. The others don't. Don't wanting to damage them, I never pulled too hard LuxorV
  16. Nice custom of the classic dual side hero/villain or light/shadow character. Just two things: the visor should be painted also on the borders and inner side, to avoid those eye catching light-blue spots; and you should try to take closer pictures, to show the details better . LuxorV
  17. This is amazing, to see all these EB people in one place (even if in sigfig form)! Thanks for taking care of the project, Stash2Sixx LuxorV
  18. Nice job so far Is this one of the programmed sets or just an exposition shot? I think it works well both ways LuxorV
  19. The arms can be taken off just like normal MF arms. The head has a ball joint that can be taken off (not always simple, but doable), and the joint is connected to the head by a pin-like end: this pin is equivalent in size and works the same way, so you can put a Fabuland head (once you took the ball joint off) on a normal MF or a normal MF head on the Fabuland ball joint. Moreover, the Fabuland head, with its ball joint in place, can be exchanged with the Technic figures heads. As for the legs, it should be possible to take them off by pulling the axle through the hips, but it often is very hard to remove and you could scratch or damage the MF in the process. LuxorV
  20. Please avoid posting like this; it's not nice to say something like this to/of other people @ BPac21 - I'll give you one week to post those pics. If you can't/won't do that, I'll close this topic. If you'll be able to post the pics in a second time (later than one week from now), PM me and I'll re-open the topic. LuxorV
  21. Not likely The Customizer Tag is not a normal prize; it is awarded to members who have shown, upon a quite long period of time, interest and partecipation in the MCW, for example posting good to excellent customs or helping other members with decal requests. LuxorV
  22. Done! Will be waiting to see the updated version . LuxorV
  23. No, sorry. I remember quite well they had a merchandise line. You can still make a B-Team or something like that, though LuxorV
  24. I know, that's why I wrote: Sorry LuxorV
  25. You know, this is not something I like to say to a person who spent his time in generating such great ideas; but we have to estabilish some rules. I'm just trying to make a rule that can be fairly applied to all the entries. I know that an ancient myth has no owners, as much as I know that intellectual property often decays after 50 years. I just see what TLG's policy is with Licenses is (they pick up themes which are famous [but not always worldwide, like for Avatar] and already have an established and well selling line of products related to them), and use it as a base for the rules.
