    Actually, not true, at least in Australia. I've been seeing them at my local Kmart and Target for days now. (Haven't gotten them yet, though - my budget has been stretched to the limit just trying to find room to get all of the stuff I want out of this year, and, unlike most of it, I know those four sets will still be available next year.) EDIT TO CLARIFY: That is, I've seen Quake Mech, Volcano Base and Piranha Attack. No Lloyd or garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON.

    I was talking about the three-tall 1x2 thin bricks, that were part of the terrain. They looked printed to me . . . I could be wrong, though.

    We have images of the 'missing' Power Splitter set! The message won't let me post the pic, but google it! Personally, the build looks fairly underwhelming, but I think those are a pair of exclusive new printed parts on the little 'mine' that could be way useful for MOCs.

    Holy crash, 60188 . . . I don't even know what that is, but it's awesome! . . . Unfortunately, because of how huge it is it's probably gonna be outside my budget . . . fingers crossed for good discounts! Also, 60186 looks pretty sick. Not sure if I need any mining stuff, but if I do, I know where to look.

    I know, right? Macy gets short shifted, and she's the King's daughter! (Granted, Hotspur (the Bot Drop Dragon) is one of the best NK good guy vehicles ever in my opinion - though I am biased towards dragons -, but that doesn't change the fact that it's small.) I'm convinced that King Halbert is running a conspiracy to convince his daughter to give up being a knight through making her feel inferior by giving the boys bigger toys. XD Yeah, the absence of a brick-built figure surprises me. Though there were two retailer exclusives in Year 2 Winter, and both came with a brick-built figure . . . but so did the Falcon Fighter. I concur with everything BrickJagger just said, but would like to add that I also want to see some kind of hidden Knight base similar to 70134 Lavertus' Outland Base. That place was sick. :)

    Yeah, probably. XD But I think there'll be a little more to it than that. Remember in the Tournament of Elements arc of Ninjago, there was this one throwaway scene in the show which involved two of the cultist grunts discussing the merits of scary names leading to promotions, which eventually led to the two deciding to rename themselves Kapau and Chope? Whose minifigures in the sets were then referred to by those names? And then there was the Skybound arc, in which Nadakhan had to discuss the matter of names with a couple of landlubbers looking to join his crew? After a heated discussion, he named them Sqiffy and Bucko. Which was also their names in the sets. XD I think we're going to see a similar scene at some point in Year 3, with a couple of the Byters discussing how they don't just want to be 'TechnoByter No. Something-something-something' and want actual names. Which will somehow lead to one deciding to call himself Fred. XD I don't think Pola and Fred are necessarily connected just because they're in the same set, though. Pola seems more like a Lavaria or Harpy-like character than either just another mook, or someone who's as important as Ruina.

    NOOOOO! Not Dennis! But seriously, wow, evil Dennis. At first glance, the Hover Jouster looked like a miss for me - weird design, looks more like a turret encampment than a vehicle, no Battle Suit combination capability, and outclassed by last year's Twin Jouster in almost every way - but I think the minifigures just sold me on it. (That, plus I know I'll just have to get every single one of the seven Merlok powers - except maybe the hammer one. Robin's redesign jars with me, and so does him suddenly using a hammer now - I prefer his original look. :( ) I wonder what this year's Knight base will be? We've already had the Fortrex and Knighton Castle. Fingers crossed for something cool!

    Oh, I am so totally getting that . . . I really like these Year 3 sets. At this rate, the only one we've seen so far that I might not be getting is Aaron's X-Bow, and that's more to do with budget limitations than a dislike of the set itself.

    Does anyone have any images of Lance's Hover Jouster? Because, now that we've seen Tech Wizard Showdown and gotten confirmation that the mech/vehicle combination system is going to be continued into Year 3 (and pending a closer look I'm inclined to assume that the little mech in the Berserker Bomber will form for this system as well) I want to know if the Hover Jouster will have any such combination abilities.

    Me too. Strays are cool. Here's hoping they do them right. I think I saw that they were using a new, grey-coloured head piece with printing on it to make it look like a skeleton wearing a cloth helmet. I was hoping for a new helmet piece, but that's cool too. Fingers crossed we get a desert temple with a husk in the summer wave!

    {shrugs} Licensed Intellectual Properties, man. For Star Wars stuff, Lego has to pay a fraction of all earnings to Lucasfilm and Disney, and they'd rather jack up the price than decrease their profit margins. That's why I prefer to stick to original IPs like Ninjago and Nexo Knights. Better value all around.

    Jangbricks has a review of 72004 Tech Wizard Showdown online. . . . Can I just say I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SET. Can't wait to get it when it shows up in AUS.

    A boat for a ninja that's not a polybag? {cough - Destiny's Shadow - cough} And that's not always true. Cole didn't get anything during Hands of Time, Lloyd got zilch for Day Of The Departed, Kai got nothing during Tournament of Elements (don't mention the motorcycle in the Ninja DBX; that still belongs to Nya), and I could be misremembering, I'm pretty sure that Nya wasn't even in any of the sets for The Final Battle.

    Hey . . . I just noticed something. None of the seven 2018 sets we've seen have Endermen in them. The only other time this has happened was during the original group of sets in 2014-2015 . . . and that was the line in which we got The Ender Dragon. I don't think getting an End City set is out of the ball park just yet . . .

    You think? True, I haven't seen a good photo, but what I did see made it look basic and bland. And dynamic terrain isn't new, we got that in Prison Island. I'll still reserve judgement, but I'm unconvinced.

    That new Samurai X mech looks awesome . . . now let's hope it has a sword that isn't in the picture. I find the whole 'biker gang' aesthetic to be pretty sweet, and am very interested in how it's gonna play into the actual plot. The Katana VII is probably a miss for me, not because it's bad but because I got the Destiny's Shadow this year and the Shadow makes any other boat sets that aren't huge Bountys feel a bit redundant. Sick bike for Zane and car for Lloyd, though. :) Hey, I just realised. With Kai's Blade Cycle, Cole's Blaster Bike, Jay's Desert Lightning, Lloyd's little bike from Rebooted, and Nya's water-shooting two-wheeler she used in Skybound, and now Zane's hot rod, all of the ninjas have, at one point or another, had their own motorcycle!

    I don't know what you're talking about. Axl's Rolling Arsenal looks pretty cool (though my standards might just be low after how bad his last vehicle was), plus, we finally get a version of Jestro that isn't evil! Also, that gold armour looks great - plus that weapon he's got looks a loooot like a wa-aaand! :) Plus, I've heard that bit on the back is a detachable flyer for Jestro called the 'Jestroyer' . . it's lame, but in a way that suits him. :) Though that sort of thing would normally have a Squirebot running it . . . this also adds credibility to the theory that all of the Squirebots have been turned evil by Virus Monstrux. And hor damn, that Teinfector looks sleek. I really like the aesthetics for the Virus Vampires . . shame I won't be able to get them until next year, since my wallet's still sinking all my spare cash into the Lego Ninjago Movie.

    . . . There's a TV discussion? Oh . . whoops. Well, if there's a good reason I can live with it, but it's still gonna be jarring. Especially since I saw in a picture that in 2018 we're finally going to get shurikens in silver! I've been waiting for that for years!

    Well, I've already made posts about my use of the Friends Snow Resort sets to expand the Village, but I also got the 60150 Pizza Van and decorated it with a few extra white elements to make it seem like there's snow on top. The way I see it, "City Pizza" sounds like a brand name that would be far more appealing in a small-town setting like Winter Village. Plus, how could I deny my villagers the wonder that is pizza?

    Has everyone seen those new juniors sets? http://www.brickfanatics.co.uk/lego-juniors-city-and-friends-2018-set-images-shared/ . . . You know something is wrong when the tiny Juniors police base actually looks better than the big $100+ set. I'm tempted to just get 10751 and integrate it into a Police Station MOC. Edit: 'Official' was an inaccurate word. Brain-fart. -.-
