  1. Fantastic build Ayrlego and good to see some builds from you again!
  2. If this is you easing back into building, I can't wait to see what you build after you're fully back! Great looking build and new character!
  3. Lol. I can go with that! You made the right decision about not trying to do something that you weren't super familiar with. Your story was well written, we just usually try and steer clear of fantasy things like dragons and such. We do include sea monsters but that's because of the time period. Dragons and such are more of a middle ages kind of thing. Looking forward to how your story progresses now that you're in charted waters!
  4. Cool little boats! It seems that you, Drunknok, and I all had the same idea for fleets of small ships! I'll have to get mine built soon!
  5. Very nice Django! I quite like your building style so far and look forward to what you come up with in the future! Keep up the great work.
  6. Splendid looking ship Legostone! As usual, the details are great and the whole thing just looks awesome!
  7. Nice and busy looking pier you've got there! Very good looking addition to the WTC's fleet!
  8. Welcome to BoBs @bmerrill! While the story is nice I do agree with Mesabi's post above. When you get the chance you should check out these threads for (very) detailed info on BoBs. The intro thread The Master Index Overall though, nice job and I'm looking forward to what you come up with for future builds!
  9. Really cool looking build! The terrain is nicely done and I also like how that plantation building turned out! Bluerender is pretty easy to use once you figure it out. Here are a couple of things to check out if you want to get into it: And here is a step-by-step tutorial: If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to PM me!
  10. Welcome to Euro Bricks!
  11. A simple build that captures the nostalgic feel of the older castle sets!
  12. This is why I enjoy playing BOBS!
  13. Nicely done! I think the angle adds a lot to the build.
  14. @Drunknok Kadeus Mordo, The citizens of Quinnsville would be most grateful for the expertise of the WTC in helping us mine and process this mineral. As the citizens are more adapt at shipbuilding and farming, your help and time will be most valuable to us. In service to her Majesty, Richard Brickford, Royal Surveyor of Quinnsville (OOC) I know you live in Germany, but for a minute I was wondering why you said the 30th of may! It's only 8pm on the 29th here on the east coast of the US.
  15. Wonderful! While precious metals certainly would have caused a jubilant celebration throughout the settlement, potassium nitrate (saltpeter) is a vital component to a certain dark colored powder that goes boom! Thanks for getting the results! I have some new story ideas now!
  16. Mesabi's got the right idea! With a little tweaking they would be just about perfect!
  17. Fantastic build Professor! The ships look great with the folded sails and the pier is nice and busy looking.
  18. Nicely done build and that boat turned out really great!
  19. 1 - 3 points 10 - 1 point 13 - 1 point 11 - 1 point
  20. @Captain Genaro: I believe that @Django Fett will need to reach 10 posts before he can use the PM feature on Euro Bricks. Shouldn't take long to do, but just thought I'd mention it.
  21. For the position of VP of Security: Elijah Plates EP by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Elijah Plates is a retired and decorated naval commander. During his time in the military, he received a degree in geology, which was a subject that always fascinated him. That and he once got ripped off by someone selling fools gold, which he really did not appreciate... He is a skilled tactician and knows how to command respect and is currently just spending his time reading books on military strategy and geology... So he is ready for a new official appointment from his beloved Country. For the position of VP of Operations: Ralph Clutchington RC by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Ralph Clutchington is the cousin of Richard Brickford, the Royal Surveyor of Quinnsville. Ralph is a self taught botanist, having worked with plants for most of his life and been the manager of his cousins crop fields for many years. He likes things to be kept in order and has become a very good organizer of both things and events. He is always concerned with the well being of other minifigs as well, which makes him a popular leader. Here are my two applications! Let me know if you need any additional information on them.
  22. Very good looking build and welcome back! Looking forward to see how your story progresses.
  23. Very nice build Captain! I like how the building looks worn and the street looks nice and busy!
