First there were just rumors, stories told by traders who used to sell their goods in Mitgardia. Prices of foreign goods are going trough the roof these days in Valholl and other cities. Travelling just isn't save any more, not even accompanied by guards. Historica's inhabitants are custom to fearsome creatures and defeated their fair share of powerful enemies. But this time it's not a man seeking for power like the now dead Revolword or Raavage, who still isn't defeated. It's an ancient race, which lurked in the cold of the Frozen Beyond for centuries. Where ever they go, they are taking the freezing cold with them. And... They are not alone, beasts only known of myths are accompanying them. Most of the Northern Mitgardian plains are already abandoned, people seek refuge inside the larger mostly fortified southern cities. First it seemed the Algus were aiming to just take over the Northern Territories, but they even crossed the Demons Ridge. Onward to the other guilds. It seems their goal is to turn the world into a giant snowball... As the next chapter/challenge is still in the making and the last results are in: It's time for a little in between contest. We like to keep it simple so no size limitations, a short guideline and almost the whole winter to come up with ideas and time to build! The categories: A. Frostbite Fortresses and strongholds take preparation! -Time for building a good old fashion castle. You can either choose to build one owned by the Algus, like the Algor or for example your own establishment. Both sides must be present though. It can be a full battle or just an infiltration. B. A clash of titans Mythical creatures appear, to devour any one they can find on their path. -Build a beast, monster or other creature that comes from the Frozen Beyond. It can be a stand alone monster, being ridden by the Algus, attacking the innocent or being slayed. C. Bad weather forecast When the Algus are near, the weather changes. It starts to snows in the Kaliphlin heat and even Lava stops burning. -Show how the Algus are changing the weather in your guild. And show a solution to stop them. Oil and dragon forged swords seem to affect them. Can you find more ways?! All entries must be submitted in this topic by January 31st. And for the winning entries we have amazing prizes! Category A First place: Second place can choose one of two battlepacks. Third place will get the battlepack that remains. Category B First place: Second place can choose one of two battlepacks. Third place will get the battlepack that remains. Category C First place: Second place can choose one of two battlepacks. Third place will get the battlepack that remains. And what's a contest without tags?! For the winners: For those who entered all three categories: Have fun building! Oh, before I forget. This is about the GoH community, so not just about the prizes we have this time. So everyone is welcome, but you need to have at least three free-builds as well to have your entries to be eligible for this contest! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ And we have the winners! Without a doubt this splendid collaboration is one of the best historic works build to date. The sheer size of it and the amount of details to feast your eyes on is almost endless. If you missed out on seeing it during Steam and you're not able to visit Brick in December, make sure you check it out in History Forum!

I hoped to do a lot more building for AG, unfortunately I just don't have the time to do so. But when SHIPtember came up, I thought let's give it a try and build a spaceship. And what's a space if it's not build by the Kawashita Group So keep this up, with all the awesome mocs all you guys are building here. I'm still lurking in the shades to pop up now and than... The Palinurus Scouting Frigate; Narwhal Class Length: 114 studs Width: 20 studs Armament: 2 Gepard Plasma Turret Stations(GPTS) 2 Long distance Rail Mortars 2 Close Range Pulsar Blasters 1 GBU-43/B Ordinance Cannon Crew: 1 Commander(Maroc) 2 Technicians 3 Commandos Details: And of course it has an interior as well Scout bikes. Wandering through Avalonia, there's a good chance you will come across dangerous wolves. You could fight them off, but I'm wondering if you would be able to fight this monstrous beast made by Mike S. Check it out in Historica!

We need to have more chocolates to lure them in. Or we could asked Kai what keeps her interested -
The Algus were gaining more territory each day. Killing those who didn't flee to strongholds in the south. The small villages on the tundra's weren't a match for the frigid warriors. But now they've reached the first mountains their uprising was slowed down. Beacons warned for a terrible threat and owls and ravens brought messages. Messages that the legendary strength of the Algus was true. That even fire wasn't a weapon good enough to stop them. It did hurt them, but it didn't do enough damage to kill them as their coldness stopped the fires in time. Fire seemed to be their weakness still, so there had to be a way to keep fires burning. The answer could be oil. One of the messages received was telling about an Algus who knocked over an oil-lamp, covered by the oil he wasn't able to put out the fire. So this could be a way to stop them. At Ragau, Chul ordered his men to cover all weapons with a layer of oil. So the Raamah got to work and prepared all the weapons. While they were preparing the last ones an Algus force came out of the mist, ready to charge to first gatehouse. If that wasn't enough a serpent like being emerged from the water. It seemed to be controlled by the Algus... From the mist an Elgus also appeared, it seemed he was dragging a body with him. "Stop resisting you fools, go back south to the Demons Ridge. The north belongs to us! Or else you will all look like your friend here who was spying on us in the Algor. Whaaahaha... Kill them all! Bulldrasil arise, feast on their flesh!" "Stand your ground men, we've fought monsters before!" "Are you sure it will work Gyrhin?" "I'm not completely sure but the oil blends with ice on their bodies so in theory fire should be able to keep on burning longer to kill them. And if that fails, there is still the emergency plan to set them on fire. That would certainly thin them out." "Ok, let's do it than. Let's join the battle! "Milady, have you seen it. And even worse heard it?" "Yes it seems Disan wasn't able to get away in time from the Algor Keep." "My condolences are in place than, as it was a friend from your husband since childhood." "Thank you. We'll have to inform Chul and Gyrhin about his death. It will probably hit them both hard, but it will also make their hatred bigger. Their will to crush this force will grow as well. Now you join the ranks, I will follow later!" Almost done with putting oil on weapons. Ready to lit some more oil. Defending the second gatehouse. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rachau, wasn't the only place were beasts appeared. Knowing of the two eggs from Disan's message was a warning that the Wyverns would probably come to attack soon... "Kill it, aim at the shoulders! At least try to take his ability to fly from him!" "Easier said than done, I've heard that Tanniyn was killed by an other Wyvern" "Apparently two, look out behind you! There's an other one!" _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Ulvar, we suffered massive casualties. The ones who were fighting of the Wyverns are all death..." "Vargr, we need to revenge our fallen brothers. Let's set foot to Rachau. It seems a large force is heading that way. And If those Wyverns or any other creature shows up we will crush it. Like we did with this one. Send the head to Chorian. It shows that we are able to defeat these beast. But we need to do this as a united Mitgardia!"

What do you get when there's more than one talented builder in one family? No, it's not fighting over parts. On the contrary, you get awesome lay-outs like this one made by the siblings Kai NRG, Garmadon and W.Navarre. Check out all the details in History!

It means that this thread is filled with jibber jabber. It also was a valid question as the word confirmed is best to avoid until we've got pictures and it was answered by another member. So definitely no need for a response like this.

Wrong forum indeed. And if you'd like to share your wishes you can do that over here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107233&st=5300. Also if you'd like to see those sets in LEGO, build it your self and put it on IDEAS. A petition is useless, so I'm closing this thread.

It's like looking at a painting, you can almost feel the tension. Slegengr did an amazing job creating this piece. The snow covered trees, the brick build deers. All eyecandy! Check out more details in the Guilds of Historica!
