yeah, that's true. I don't use that piece much anywho.

@Jetflap That is very interesting. I have never heard of that or seen it before. I can't find it on BL either, but it could be there, just hard to tell. I'd rather have it in ABS anyway, I think. The normal ones just get bent and don't look so good.
-
A perfect MOC. I love the belly area!
-
@JetflapThe ABS version does not bend, right? It is hard like other ABS bricks?

At the bottom of a lot of people's replies, I notice a little area where they have personal info/pictures/messages. I was wondering how you get that little box? (EDIT) I see now that they are called signatures, but I don't see an option in my account preferences about signatures.

This is very nice! I have been thinking about building a mill myself for a while. The turbines are quite nice, and you have some good techniques there, but there are a few things I would change if I were you. 1) The roof. The current roof looks good, but often a SNOT roof looks better, and there are a lot of different SNOT roof techniques. I have a topic on roofs that you can find here. 2) The door. It is always nice to use a TLG premade door, and some of them are rather nice, too. I prefer the do-it-yourself door, here are some pictures of different types: But aside from those, I like your scene. I always build smallish scenes like that. You can find my flickr here. XBrick

REVIEW: 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack
XBrickmonster replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@WhiteFang Very accurate review, I think. I don't have a lot oi stormtroopers anyway, so it might be worth it... -
@badchriss I like it. The design itself could use a retouch, mostly because it is rather cramped inside, but it seems a lot like something TLG would make. My favorite part, though, is the theme, because I think City Future could easily be a LEGO franchise, and that makes this little hovercar very special. I like also how you know how it works, by which I mean you have built the story for it that works, and makes the model itself very interesting. The advertising board on the roof is also a very nice touch. I like the colors quite a bit as well, it seems like the kind of thin that might be in The Fifth Element or something of that genre. Nicely done, Chris! You can visit my Flickr account here!

Elves MOC - Farran's grotto house
XBrickmonster replied to FortNerd's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
@FortNerd This is a pretty cool little MOC. I can't really critique it too well, because builds look quite different in LDD form than real, brick built form. It looks a lot like a legitimate set from TLG, which is interesting. I can imagine this vividly as a set in a store, which is good if that's what you are going for. It seems to have lots of nice play features, but if I had made this, I might have focused a little more on the look. I think it seems like a fun little build, nice job! My FLICKR! -
Hello everyone! I have been looking at a few different column techniques, and I couldn't find one that suited what I wanted, or comprised of pieces I currently have. If anyone has any ideas, please help! XBrick You can find me on Flickr here!

@Heksu The LED lights do look cool!

@Slegengr Thanks! It worked that time. I have been looking at more roofs like the ones from Cesar Soars. I have been figuring out some of the ways he builds his roofs, and I can see what you had mentioned about the hinges and the mixel joints. Thanks again

Hey everyone! I was hoping to get some help regarding medieval roofing techniques that are not just the plain old slope bricks. Thanks for your input! My Flickr!

That is very fun! I love how you have made it topographical! I would have, maybe, smoothed it out with some tiles here and there, though. I really like maps and globes, and I have been thinking about building a LEGO version of the game Risk, which requires a large color-coded map. Nice job! My Flickr

[MOC] Thane Rori Dulgisson from Karak Zorn
XBrickmonster replied to DwalinF's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is excellent! I saw it on your Flickr page too. This is definitely one of the greatest MOCs I have ever seen. You should be very proud! My Flickr -
Nice work Sandro! The far left building is my favorite. You have lots of nice colors, and the minifigures are quite realistically posed. My only critique is the water, which is not extremely realistic, but I know it is difficult to build water. Overall very good! My Flickr
