  1. Congratulations! Your city layout is getting better and better each day.
  2. Really nice work on the beach and staircase! Congrats! I was a little bit concerned how the stairs initially looked but it turned out really good. Any picture of the beach placed in the layout? Keep the good work and let us updated!
  3. That is cool, congratulations! The mini buildings of the landmarks was a great idea.
  4. Maybe not, really. But since their recent focus on adult buyers it may worth a shoot. Like having a link in the manual to the digital instructions and a way to provide the needed bricks, like an auto basket for PaB / B&P services. Yeah, I am dreaming too much, just brainstorming.
  5. I probably will, but that will take some time and effort. And I know a lot of people that like Lego trains but are not so enthusiastic and/or are still MOCs beginners. This type of iniciative could help gather more fans from casual buyers.
  6. I understand that from a selling point of view just the lococomotive in a stand makes more sense to Lego. It keeps the price down, most people would not care for extra cars. Train fans that you like cars will probably build them. However it would be nice from Lego if they provide options to expand the set. I know extra cars sets don´t sell but maybe to put some official instructions available? Lego don´t need to sell sets or bricks (although people will use B&P service) only provide instructions (most likely using only in current production pieces). It would be a nice way to foster and engage the community. Put a panflet or note inside the set to direct the buyer to a Lego established fan community. However I have fears the copycats may take advantage of extra instructions....
  7. Question is if we will be able to add Power Functions/Power Up to make it run in tracks. It does not seen to be able to handle curves very well.
  8. No, that column is for the total price of the number of the itens. Price was probably wrong and I am wondering if it will go through or charge differently as already happened in the past.
  9. That is some crazy prices here. 200 pieces for a total of US$ 0.02 ??? They realy just charged you that? Those golden pieces are already out of stock.
  10. I don´t think you just ask for the bricks. That is one of the reasons you got the backlash early on, and Carbohydrates summed the others very well. First, sometimes not even the creators can affort the bricks themselves, that one of the reasons they do digital projects. That is true for the Bricktoria pub, the creator first saw the real build from others (not sure if he alredy built it himself now). Second, creators are all around the world, shipping can be expensive. The best approach may be you cover the cost of the bricks yourself, and find a way to have a refer code to your followers. Like giving 10% to discount on the purchase of the instructions if they use a code from your posts. Then the creator knows how many sales came from the exposure you gave, and can also provide you with a percentage of those sales.
  11. That is an great idea. I will not be able to make a smooth road this way (as I was trying to cover its surface with tiles, and that was the struggle) but the studs have some appeal. Like an old road. Regarding monorails or custom tracks I will try to avoid them, my costs are already high ?.
  12. Great work!!! Thanks for sharing your progress. I am curious about your thoughts and planning on building brick built roads. I am struggling at the moment to come to a solution for my layout (planning digitally first to order the pieces). My main problem is that I want to integrate a train track at the road to serve as a city tram line. But the corners are a challenge, I can’t find s solution that looks good enough.
  13. Thanks for sharing! And great work. I will be buying the BSG Viper sheet from you eBay store, but I also want to know: do you offer custom print services by the way? Like if I provide you with an artwork for stickers, are you able to print a sheet? PM me.
  14. In creative terms it was very weak. They even already did a tower in the first episode. But it was structurally ok. But bottom tier I agree. I agree Brickman was too harsh. Normally he always find something nice to say about a build even if it was bad (see the girls house on the first episode). But also, he doesn’t like to be ignored in his advices, what they flat out did. Yes their castle was estheticaly beautiful, righ colors, but it’s structure was very weak. I agree. Also their gingerbread house was great. They became my favorites after this episode.
  15. You can stream the episodes on 9now website for free but you need a VPN since they are geolocked. Watched the 2nd and 3th episode. Yeah, the young girls are the weaker team and won the second challenge by pure luck. There was no skill in what they did. My guess is that they will be the next team eliminated. About the elimination of Annie and Runa: sorry they were rightfully eliminated. They had trouble since the beginning with the concept and the execution was really lacking, their mermaid couldn’t stay assembled. The other low bottom team was also rightfully chosen, they focused too much on the castle against Brickman advice (and it was too ambitious for the time available, the final build suffer from it and man, Brickman was hard on them but on point). Other story elements were weak like their we carriage (did not look great) but I like the scene of Cinderella in the stairs loosing the crystal shoe. I also agree on the top two teams and the winners.
  16. Three episodes? I thought they would air them weekly. Checking 2nd and 3th right now.
  17. Oh, you are right. The signature are only displayed on the desktop mode.
  18. Really nice work on the updates! (Hope that heater behind the bridge isn’t used). I am planning some different levels on my layout too, but since they interior would not be visible I won’t use bricks as support just low custom tables. Ny the way your signature is still no visible for me.
  19. Found it. Just sent you a request to follow it (it is set as a private account)
  20. Hi. Glad you have time to update your city. Your signature isn’t showing in your post. Which is your instagram account? I still need to make a Lego specific Instagram account for me, but I will follow you in my main account.
  21. I think it is fortunate that both projects don’t fit well together, meaning they don’t overlap and can be different enough to Lego approve both. I really like the castle much better (congratulations @povoq). I hope it is make into a set.
  22. Hi again, your pillars and bridge looks really great (wouldn’t mind if you share your files if um you are ok with that) but I was really impressed with your ocean and coast patchwork of tiles and plates. I was working on something similar and looked for inspiration online, but yours is the most great looking one. My only doubt is if I would use the dark blue plates as the base of the deep ocean, it looks a little to dark too soon. The other colors you used are blue and medium blue ( or is it medium azure), right? There aren’t too many options to make the dark, deep part of the ocean really. Again, keep the great job and us informed!
  23. Great work, specially on the sea! (mind if I copy it?)
  24. I like the second one better, but change it to have two sitting chairs (like the 3rd one). Good job!
  25. I like the clean design of those builds, but they aren´t much different from what Lego already offered on past Castle waves (like the 2013 one), so I don´t think it would ever be approved. Plus I like the complex design of something like The Castle in the Forest much more, make a more unique set.
