Dedicated to eilonwy77 Katie is a wonderful member of the online Lego universe, and faerie princess of the cheese slope. Constantly weaving fantasy stained glass masterpieces and endless memorizing patterns the rest of us are consistently inspired to invest in detail. She is also awesome and encouraging, and a good friend to many. :-) But many of you here at Eurobricks know this already. Not any time soon :( we are actually going to try to finish our hopefully crowning MOC in the faerie forest series we halfway started for the CCC contest. So if you float around our site we're hoping to post up some more faerie magical fantasy forestmen goodness very soon. But if we're ever looking for another fantasy castle break more bleach characters might pop up :) perhaps a urahara and yoruichi!

Thanks guys for the comments :) It was fun to build something a little different from our usual fantasy castle. Unfortunately I dont, many of the connections are weak and allot of them I just threw together. So if instructions were ever made (doubtful) I would rather edit the entire design (especially their bottom halves and ichigo's arms :P) But thanks for asking! And yes... they are walking hand in hand :P We would be ichiruki people. Sorry to (and for :P) the the ichihime's out there Thanks again!

Haha, this comment made my day :P I wrote this on my Flickr to someone who mentioned the same thought. "Honestly, whenever i sit down to create a lego girl... my main thought is "the hair and the chest.. if i butcher those.... she's doomed." (yes i checked for size limit lol) Thanks! Glad to be a part of an awesome guild, and your guide to a detailed village helped a good deal! The Nymph hair is actually Clickits wrist cords with the knobs at the end... My first thought was fiber-optics but then i noticed that would cost like 100$... lol The trees are actually very sturdy :) the base is made with a 2x2 tile (with vertical pin) connecting to a white techinc connector. This also allows them to wobble a little bit, twist, and not fall down. So if i bump the table, the forest shakes but ever falls :D Good potential stop action video potential! Hello fellow guildsmen! We've been apart of the guild for some time and I've been building like crazy :) Allot of what we'll post in the next month is for the CCC and crosses over completely into our fantasy Avalonian forest realm. So here is our first donation to the mighty guild of Avalonia, filled with joy and beauty. Avalonia is a beautiful land filled with joy and myrth. A home worth defending, women and children we will fight to protect. Welcome to our festival of flowers and the second page in our journey through the mystic Faerie Forest. Silas looked slowly round at the youthful faces gazing up at him in anticipation. This small journey was their rite of passage, a time of testing as well as instruction. He waited until the forestlings had settled around the warming fire, preparing themselves for a night of lore and adventure. Silas cleared his throat. “Are you ready to listen? To become a Forestman, like your parents and like me, to hear the tales of your ancestors?” He chuckled to himself as he watched the innocent smiles that grew among them. “Good. Our first tale is from long ago, when forestmen first came to this place. Though the land was beautiful, the winters were long; and the people struggled to make a living out of the Earth. One young girl by the name of Flora wandered deeper into the woods in search of flowers. At first there were none to be found, for the cruel winter had made them lose their bloom. As she searched deeper however, she found a single May Tree. When Flora drew near it, the tree began to pulse and brighten! She reached out her hand for it, and the flowers came to meet her… pink and white petals forming into the shape of a lovely woman. ‘Long have I waited to meet one who would find me here,’ she spoke, and her voiced sounded as chimes in the wind. ‘My name is Hawthorne, guardian of this realm. This forest has been awaiting a people to cherish it, and with your coming I can at last bless the earth.’ She gently placed her hand on Flora’s head, and with her smile the forest came alive with magic. Flowers lifted their faces, brooks began bubbling to life, and the trees grew tall around them. The dryads and their sister river nymphs ran to meet our ancestors. Then Hawthorne turned to Flora once more with a promise, which our people remember to this day. For on that first of May, we found a home. Now every May Day we thank the one who gave us this haven, and promised to keep Avalonia fertile and protected. You forestlings collect flowers to mark that time and to celebrate our home.” This is for CCC IX the Medieval holiday category. May Day (a festival celebrating the goddess of flowers) Water Nymph! Siercon and Coral Are interested in representing the Forest/Forestmen faction! I'm not sure if this places us with Derfel, or another group... Either way place us where fantasy fairy and mystical forest dwellers would go, and if it would serve better, we could lead a group also. This looks like fun!

Hey all! So many of you may have been following this as it has unfolded. But for those who havent, this is a series that is ongoing for the remainder of the Micro Castle Competition. There are 8 parts to this segment of the story and they all connect together to bring one final entry for the MCC. :) Hope you guys like it! This is Volume 1 with the start of Blake's volume 2! Chapter 1 “Deep from the east an army creeps from the ashes across the rolling hills of Sorna. We must prepare. We must conquer. Two thoughts will touch, and the earth will cry beneath them.” Chapter 2 "My name is Joshua, and I’ve lived in the forest all my life. There have always been reports of battles with the death knights, but never have they been so close to home. The wind rustles through the leaves in the forest, and our houses sway responding to its whispers of war and fire. If they advance past the foothills, we are the last living village between them and our city in the heights. My father is gathering the golden gryphons and the forestmen are on the move. They say it won’t be long before she overtakes our borders. Chapter 3 “My name is… Victoria. I cannot remember who I was before I came to be called so, in some past existence, before I governed this great realm. Beneath this vast emptiness, I recall life and vitality. I cannot change what I am, nor do I desire to return to who I may have been. This emptiness is peace to me. The fullness of life has passed and the pain of touch has faded. We hollow knights of the dark wish a simple peace. We are the silent pile of ashes after the painful hiss of flaming oak. Burn softly my love, I am coming to bring you home.” Chapter 4 "We have gathered remnants of the living. As men, ogres, and wild beasts, we draw arms together, awaiting this hollow evil. The battle shall be decided on these very plains. It was here I lost her, my life. Without her I feel empty inside, but will revenge bring me peace? Lily… for you, I must survive." Chapter 5 “We bring against you war machines, how long do you mortals expect to resist? Why must your final moments of feeling be in pain? We wish for unity and peace as you do. Joshua, if death is inevitable, why do you hesitate to join me in this new lifeless existence? Lead your people into our cities of ghostly bliss. The wheels of war will turn, the momentum of death is gaining, and its gears cannot reverse.” Chapter 6 “The beacon burns bright, calling for aid in an empty world. The lighthouse seems a dim candle - a last desperate cry - seeking generations who once broke away from our city long ago. Buildings which were houses of prayer and lights to the world are now vacant, and only the ever hopeful mermaids remain. Will God hear our pleas on unholy ground? My father returns to us, riding his white horse to the field of battle. I pray the final beacon he lit draws our long-lost brothers to us once more. Behind him strays the very last men the city could spare. For now even from below our own city evil raises it’s head, creeping from lost and ancient caverns. The end, whatever end, is only a matter of time.” --Joshua, Knight of Sorna Chapter 7 “Joshua, I was the love of your life, a life I no longer posses. We cannot hold back this stroke upon you. You swore unto me for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health… till death did us part. It has, and now you draw your arms against me and your fellow slain. Too often we could hear your voices on the wind wishing us back and tears on the floor bidding us home. Now we are here, and as enemies you cling to that which is fleeting. Do not wait for a hope that will not come; for no one from heaven above or across the vast sea can hear your cries for help or delay your deaths. I shall make it quick, and we shall be together. My love burns yet for you, and anew these phoenix will take us home.” --Victoria, Lily of the underworld Chapter 8 “Lily, my hope for you will never die. My prayers and intercessions will live on. Even now I tremble before a messenger of the gods. ‘Fear not,’ he spoke, ‘though I cannot fight this battle for you, have hope. Know that aid comes swiftly from the west.’ My hope will not die; and if my body breaks, may the gates of heaven await us both. This little castle on a hill will glimmer and shine with the coming of the dawn. Darkness shall flee from the rising sun.” Chapter 9 (The collection of 1-8) “Footsteps quickened, and swords shone bare under the masked sun. Joshua’s heart raced, his feet pounding beneath him almost involuntarily. The moment had come, and he could feel nothing but the rough handle of the sword in his grip and the weight of his shield pulling heavily at his arm. The ground trembled under the pounding of the elephants and the charging line of armored knights. “Where are our brothers? Will they make it in time? With how many men?” were the last thoughts Joshua had before forcing it from his mind and gritting his teeth. With a deep, shaking breath he released his clenched jaw and joined the chorus of men; shouting in a united prayer as much as a battle cry before the hordes that awaited them. Victoria glided effortlessly across the field, ashes swirling at her feet like a low mist. It was time to erase her past and paint a new future. To wash away the painful colors of life with the beauty of grey. Death knights advanced beside her methodically, without fear or urgency. Leading vicious scorpions and machines of war, they proceeded toward the line of hopeless men. “Hold nothing back! Your kindness is in your swiftness of execution. Remember you were once like them, clinging to a pathetic life before you were awakened to a new existence! Bring these desperate souls peace through our blades.” Victoria caught a glimpse of a face in the masses that rolled forward to crash with them, sending a ripple across the still, dark waters of her heart. For the briefest of moments something seemed to grow within her... what was it? The word came to her mind unwillingly, from some forgotten past. It was... a lily. I'd have to say worse than flick-fire... I'd give the range maybe 2 feet, but I haven't tried super hard. :) We just used the classic Lego rubber band. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x88 Yeah, we love archery! :) I prefer a longbow or re-curve and Coral prefers the compound :) Just wish we had more finances to put towards it! We’ve been anxious to share with you all our compound bow. It’s hard creating minifigure sized weapons, but we are particularly fond of how this one turned out. Hope you like it and feel free to make your own! We would love to see these catch on. The compound bow is made from six separate pieces and matches the size of the new elven bow produced by Lego. AND if you tweak it just right it can even FIRE the loaded arrows!! Here several Forestmen Sharpshooters ambush a scouting party sent by the tyrannical Lion Kingdom. We tried to show the different uses of the bow as well as a close up comparison. Minifigs can sling the bows across their backs, draw them back to fire, and more. Hope you all enjoy :D And like most everything we do we like making lots of them! :) I think its the Brikwars in us...

Keep it up! I absolutely love the baby dragon, and have to make one... yeah he's totally awesome. The Rino man is pretty sweet, looks great for a Icon, well done. And yes there have been some mimics online like By RGB900 Is the best one I've seen, but i like how yours looks like it potentially closes. very cool for surprise attacks or unknown boxes if playing a game like brikwars. Looking forward to more stuff from ya!

Beautiful castle, I like a bunch of stuff about it. The first thing that jumped out was the use of the minifigure stands for roofing, great idea!

I like this allot, dont destroy it! :( Then again I'm exceedingly partial to Forestmen. So I guess you can destroy it if its going to give greater glory to the Forestmen kingdom. Regardless its a very nice moc and I think you did a great job. One note, Uneven terrain sometimes helps when making "forest/outpost" type sanctuaries otherwise your going for the open very tall old forest... in which case you need a big tree. But if it were me, I would totally keep this together :D Well done.

To all of the above, first thanks for the comments! And in response to the iffyness of its D2C qualities, I couldn't agree more. If Lego were ever to create this, so much would have to change. But the contest was an excuse to build :) So yes, not strong in the playability/D2C category. But I would hope more Jungle/Swamp type ninja sets were made with an emphasis on a multitude of fantasy creatures (kind of like how they did Atlantis) Thanks guys -Siercon

Deep in the jungles there is a secret guild of assassins. There is no place more deadly than the forbidden Serpent Ruins. In the center of the sacred temple grows a legendary flower guarded by Venom Spawns, man-eating tree frogs, and killer hornets. One must avoid alligator infested swamps, mantises, and of course the rumored Serpent of Death known for being able to crush the life from a dragon. Serpent Ruins Here is a close up of the deadly Venom Spawns. Slow growing, their age is a mystery. It is said they start out small like a mobile venus fly trap. Continually increasing in size from year to year, the most ancient of Spawns settle down and take root. These are the two main houses of ninja assassins battling in a jungle duel. Red ninjas seek to triumph in their invasion of the serpent ruins. Danger lurks behind every corner and massive snakes loom above. Man-eating Tree Frog One of the cutest deadly critters in the Serpent Ruins. Baby Dragon's Nest Dragons sometimes lay their eggs in the ruins. These little guys have a survival adventure ahead of them! Killer Hornets These things are simply terrifying. Fortunately they don’t travel in swarms but one sting can drop a man… forever. Ninjas roam the deepest jungles and wade through the most deadly swamps. Be wise when searching for this ruin and challenging the green ninjas. consider yourself warned. :) -Siercon
