    Thank you all for the kind words! I just got a few new sets, so I am currently working on a continuous miner. This time it will be built in bricks instead of Technic pieces though.

    Hello Everyone! My name is Adam and I am a civil engineering student from the United States. I've been playing with Lego for as long as I can remember when my dad gave me his sets, 570 Fire House and 135 Building Set. Since then, the collection and inspiration has grown. I used to build some WW2 models when I was younger, but now I have shifted to mostly Technic and City creations. Currently I am working on a public works garage from my local department of highways. Other hobbies include running, biking, volunteering, and amateur radio. I look forward to spending more time with this community and all the wonderful features it has to offer.

    Greetings all, This summer, I am away from home at an internship with a mine so the only set I had was 42060, Roadwork Crew. I've never built a technic MOC before, but I'd figure I'd try after seeing all of the machinery underground that it would be a good challenge, especially since I only had the pieces from one kit. Most of the scoops at this mine are either Sandvik or Eimco, but this model is not specifically modeled after either make. The functions include raise/lower arm, movable bucket, steering, adjustable lights and opening door. Photos are below.     I really appreciate the texture the inside out panels produce. Could be used for a container or a dump truck in the future. Those front lights are nice too.

    That is quite the unique approach to having short Linear Actuators. I eagerly await completion of this project.

    When I first saw 42070, I wasn't a big fan. I really like your reinterpretation of it. The military color scheme adds a nice touch.

    That Rolls Royce is snazzy. Nice use of fire extinguishers as headlights.

    I love how the curves on the pre-War lorry continue down the sides. It really adds a touch of realism.
