  1. Although releasing a MMOG named Lego Galaxy would be a pretty strange move immediately after the extreme success of Lego Universe. =P
  2. But they needn't necessarily use a lot of white pieces. Look at the Deep Freeze Alpha Team sets - they had a two seperate colour schemes, neither of which contained any white, and apart from the Flagship set, none of them had an excess of white pieces (and even the flagship was pretty subtle about it). As long as the colour scheme of the sets work on a white background, I don't think that's going to be an issue. =) Pun intended?
  3. Why not? It's not like it'd be the strangest thing in Ninjago, and they have to make new versions of the characters, anyway. To me, a Golden Ninja and a robotic version of Garmadon sounds exactly like the kind of thing they'd pull off. =) Say, who's in for a Lego Galaxy Quest theme? =P
  4. Sorry, I think it's the TV show that's being referred to. For a moment there, I thought ripcords was too specialised for Lego, but then I thought of the Visorak. And honestly, I know I loved it on them (though of course, I was in the target age back then). I doubt this theme will have much success with AFOL Fabulanders, who're probably going to be disappointed that it'll be nothing like Fabuland. =J Personally, I'm looking forward to it. I'd even say that it's my second-favourite rumoured 2013 theme. =)
  5. I can live with that. I don't mind them having successful licenses, I just hope they'll keep their focus on the original themes. =)
  6. Hammerstein NWC - 2 Siercon and Coral - 3
  7. Ninja Nin - 1 Praiter Yed - 2 Oky - 2
  8. Mordartre - 3 Silentmode - 2
  9. Heard! =D I'm thankful for the huge success that City remains, and which Ninjago and Friends have turned out to be. Those are the kind of themes that gives me hope that Lego isn't diving head first into the licenses and leaving original themes (which I think is what most of us prefer them to spend their energy and ideas on) a thing of the past. =)
  10. I think this sounds very likely. After all, most speculations already included a new Arkham after those 2013 figures were revealed.
  11. Wouldn't those pieces be new head moulds?
  12. I know I'm getting at least two Business Card Holders in a couple of weeks, at my next trip to the Lego store in Copenhagen... but along with the Monster and Rock Band packages, it's oddly priced at 96.78 DKK, and I fear that if I wait for too long, somebody in their Marketing department is going to notice the oddity and raise the price.
  13. What does everybody think of the chances that the NRG figures will be available in sets or booster packs next year? I really want them, but it's too expensive to buy a spinner pack for each of them. And now that I'm here, I might as well express my extreme displeasure in the idea of a TMNT Lego license. I'm extremely displeased with the idea of a TMNT Lego license.
  14. So, you bought three Haunted Houses on the day it was released? How on earth do you get that kind of money?
  15. I'm looking so far forward to the new episodes - and actually, far is a very apt word for it. It's only two months since they finished airing Season 5 in Denmark, so I'm afraid I might have to wait two years for the new episodes (unless I get the DVDs from Amazon, or some kind soul decides to do it for me at christmas). =)
  16. I had no idea you could buy PaB Lego by weight! Now I have to go to Billund. ;)
  17. There is a wonderful site dedicated to keeping FOLs up-to-date about which pieces can be found in which PaB walls. It's four months since the one in Billund was last updated, but I would expect that a lot of the pieces are still there. As far as advice goes, I would definitely secure myself a load of medium blue 1x2 bricks - and (if you haven't already taken them at another PaB wall, since they seem to be quite common there at the moment) the same goes for the Dark Red and trans- or smoke-clear 1x2s. As for price, I seem to recall that it's 129 DKK for a large cup or 79 DKK for a small one. That's unless you bring your own, already-paid-for cup, of course. =)
  18. 1x Octopus - 5 pts. 2x Turtle - 3 pts. 1x clam - 1 pts. 1x crab - 1 pt. 1x Capuchin Monkey - 1 pts. Adding up to a total of the allowed 14 points. =)
  19. Congratulations! All of the winning entries are beatiful and raise the bar to new heights. =)
  20. I haven't gone through RA. I wrote a review some weeks ago, in which I even stated that I hadn't, and nobody's protested yet - so no, I presume.
  21. Definitely go for the modulars. As Hawkman said, the large Star Wars ships are really more of a 'bragging rights' type of set. The Fire Brigade is still available, at least on the Danish and British S@Hs. I'll give the GE a little more than a year from now. I'd go for the cafe, and indeed I have; of these three, it's the only set I have. Then, I don't personally have much use for the pieces in the Beauty Shop, while the Dog Show just seems like bad value compared to the other two. It's worth it! I bought the same set (although with minifigures) for 500 DKK, which is roughly 30% more than $65, and I considered myself very lucky. Of course, this depends on whether your friend already has it. I wouldn't buy another for that price.
  22. When I was something-like-seven-years-old, I sent in a suggestion to them of a set I wanted them to make, and give or take a few words, I got that exact response. So yes, it's pretty much generic. They also sent me free Johnny Thunder and Darth Vader key chains as consolation, though.
  23. Three beautiful and deserving winners, indeed! Well done to everyone in the contest; it's been a blast to see what people came up with! =D
