In a few visits to the brand stores of Copenhagen and one to Berlin, I've managed to part together the S1 wrestler (minus the cape, though that's an easy replacement), S1 indian, S1 forestman (minus the plume), S2 witch (minus the easily-replaced broom), S2 disco dude (minus the printed tile) and S3 rapper (minus accesories, but with the cap). I've also found various parts from other CMFs - for instance, I've picked up a handful of S2 vampire heads and torsoes.

Monster Fighters 2012
Multiverse replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
For parts and figures mainly, what do those who have them think about the Mad Scientist and Werewolf sets? =) -
My thoughts exactly. That's my favourite female lego head, no competition. =)

I'm really impressed with the build, as well as with the photography. Both catches the character of GLaDOS perfectly. =) (I haven't played either Portal game, but my brother has, and I love the storyline as well as the little dialouge (well, really monolouge, I guess) details. Oh, and Wheatley!)

10226 Sopwith Camel Review (warning - picture heavy!)
Multiverse replied to Algernon's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I might be getting this, but it won't be at the retail price. If it goes 20% off or more on S@H, though, I think I'll be in. And I certainly won't be building it without my dad, the family WW1 plane enthusiast. =J -
I'm extremely impressed with the general neatness of this whole build. Studs are left where studs belong, but nowhere else. ;J Really, I think it's a beatiful thing and something which you can rightly take pride in. Thanks for sharing it with us. =)

I doubt anyone in this thread isn't envious of that. Getting the set two months early and 30£ off? Yes, please! =D I was pretty amazed by how cheap it was in pounds compared to its DKK price. Normally it's cheaper in Britain, but not by that much.

This is an amazing use of bricks in such little space. You're really using the full potential of the parts here, especially with that snotted window in the back. =)
-
Oh, thank you. I quite like that parallel, though I'll have to admit it wasn't intentional. =) Unless you've come up with a better idea since then, why not go ahead and build one anyway? I don't own the copyright of the Post Office concept, and I'd personally be thrilled to see another design for something I'd also done. =) Thanks! I very much appreciate the advice. =) Oh, if anyone have any suggestions about what to add on the sides - or suggestions about anything, really - I'm all ears. =)

Thank you very much for the clarification. ^_^

Are the contestants allowed to vote - and if so, are we allowed to vote for ourselves?

Nice figure, particularly the sheepish Hagrid expression goes well for him. =) Is the name a Red Dwarf reference (since in Red Dwarf there's repeated references to a Dane called Peterson)?

Naturally I'm hoping for armoured polar bears, but I know that's not going to happen. =P I regret missing out on the first arctic themes, and I think this has great potential. I'm hoping for a good theme here. =)

Thanks a lot, Brickcitydepot! My local post office is actually a small room adjoined to the local grocery store (I live in a small village), so I didn't have all that much personal experience to work from. The smoke is simply an attempt at adjusting it for a big-city feel. You've got a point with the mills and the blacksmiths, though I still think the WV and Modulars are a different category than the regular themes - both are one-set-per-year lines, and they're both exclusives aimed at AFOLs, who TLC can be certain knows about all the sets available to them. I think it's a bigger risk than making, say, a City Post Office immediately after the WV Post Office, because in that case it'd plainly be a children's version and a grown-ups version, making them less of a rival to each other. Still, I guess one never knows. =)

B-M-04E I realised that, having achieved its status as a Winter Village set, the much-wanted Post Office likely won't be seen as an official modular for quite another while. Here, I give you my personal interpretation of what it might've looked like it in a mini-modular version: Modular Madness Cat.1: Post Office (1) by Multi Versal, on Flickr

James May's hair is just perfect in that picture. And also, no offence to Richard Hammond (whose programmes I've enjoyed thoroughly, and who shares the title of my favourite TG host with James May), his legs. =P

Frè-re-Ja-ques, Frè-re-Ja-ques, Dor-mez... (...Vous, Dormez vous?). ;) Google tells me it's called Brother John in English. =)

I'm not a big fan of HP nor LotR - I've seen and liked the movies, but that's it. =J Something I should've noted before, though - any sets I buy, I buy for pieces (and minifigs). The only one of these I'd intend to keep assembled for a longer while would be QAR. As for the Mines, the figures does it all for me; not as characters (except for Lego Legolas, whose very name makes him a must-have), but I can think of many uses for their torsos and hair pieces. ;) BTW, I've settled on that other one, half-off deal. I'm getting PoA, but not WTC. =)

It's a tune (and I love that detail, and I agree very much with Erdbeerieis about wanting a non-friendified version of it; very much the same thing about the long ruler in the Fashion Design Studio), though a very simple one. Ironically, there's a mark to tell that all Fs must be played in Sharp, while the notes don't actually contain any Fs. EDIT: Oh, I recognise it! It's Frere Jaques! That settles it, I'm getting this set (also, that explains the lack of Fs; this is only the first page)! =D

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Multiverse replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This series was released almost immediately before series 7 around here, which I personally think is odd. Because of this, I'm having a little bit of trouble finding them, since most stores have taken them away to make place for series 7. Strangely, the very same stores seem perfectly capable of stocking series 3, 4 and 5. -
I'm not sure what the Modulars cost in pounds, but 1500 DKK is more expensive than most of the Modulars. It's what the Town Hall costs.

For children, particularly children who enjoy amusement parks, I think Legoland Billund will stay enjoyable for another day. You could see it all in one day, but you'd have to be a bit picky about what to actually try (depending on the time of year, of course - naturally there's fewer queues in bad weather). There's not a lot for AFOLs, I think, except for the Lego store and a few of the larger rides (and perhaps the 4D cinema. I'm not sure whether they still have that), but for a family with children and at least one AFOL, I expect two days would just about suffice. This is my personal opinion, though, and it's something like four years since the last time I was there. ;)

...which is perfectly true. It seems to be a quite accurate quiz you've put together. =)
