Is this what you're talking about?

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying. Nice job, and you're very welcome.

Wow! That's beautiful chrome work. What an outstanding collection of weapons and armor.

Nice! Thanks Rick. I was really trying for something a bit different w/ the roof, but ended up going back to the 3x4 slopes.

Welcome ZueriHB. I suppose that if you're going to start collecting LEGO Trains, there's no better model than the Emerald Night as your first. It is a fantastic set, although it's definitely not the best train for a beginning train builder (at least in my opinion). Aside from the wheels, I haven't used any of the other pieces myself. In any case, welcome and I hope you enjoy the forum.

I didn't even pick up on the 9V track - good observation (suppose I'm so use to seeing it on my own layout). I really like the display, and interesting bridge design. That would make a nice addition to a two level layout.

Davey: you never seize to amaze me with your fantastic creations. This is most impressive. What a great design and the way you were able to split/transition the blue and yellow pieces is very nice, especially toward the front. I especially like the front end and cab with the use of the cheese slopes. This would easily give the Super Chief a "run for its money". I'm equally impressed with how you were able to add so much decal without even one decal, the ability of an expert builder. I absolutely love the color scheme and with the use of the BNSF yellow plate, its perfect. Oh, and I love those steps leading up to the loco. Top notch! Definitely deserving of a front-page! I'll have to look at your FlickR images to see more of the fine details.

Dash over to Train Tech to see expert train builder Davey's latest creation, a CSX GE Dash 8-40B. Sporting a bright blue, yellow, and light grey color scheme, Davey's Dash has all the makings of a "top notch" diesel locomotive. The front-end is most impressive with the use of cheese slopes and other smooth parts.

Jonas: that's an awesome display, but please try not to post images larger than 800x600 which is our site guideline. Thanks for sharing though.

Absolutely love the interior, esp. the fooseball table and jukebox. Those are quite clever indeed! This modular definitely has a European-look to it with your choice of windows and the brown ground floor. Overall, a very nice modular - although I don't see the Fire Brigade in your line-up.

This is a very nice review with excellent pictures.

Very nice MM. I love the use of the fence pieces reminding me of the truck from Adventurers set 5988 Temple of Anubis. In fact, I love this era for vehicles and architecture (1920s-30s). If I were a better builder myself, I would create this favorite Victorian-era Playmobil truck in LEGO. In regard to your truck, I like the windshield, and you did a fantastic job on the front section and grill. Nice use of the old dark grey spoked wheels and tires. The only thing it's missing is the HC514 license plate. Overall, I love it though - front-paged!

Town fan MdrnMrvls creates a splendid 6-stud wide 1920s Truck. Don't you just love the use of the brown fence pieces reminiscent of the old Desert/Egypt Adventurers theme?

A sombrero and Mexican figure... I can't believe it! (runs away to begin dusting off the Mexican Village singing La Cucaracha) -
Hi Yo Silver, away! Do you remember the Lone Ranger and his brave sidekick Tonto? If you haven't already seen LegoLyons Lone Ranger scene, make sure you check it out.

Nice, but please don't post images larger than 800x600 per our site guidelines. Thanks.

Thanks for the dusting tips guys. I have a duster that's part of our vacuum, similar to the Go Duster (without the spin while using). After using, you insert it into the vacuum chamber and push a button, and it spins as the dust gets sucked up. I was just wondering for those of you who have used something similar to this for dusting, does it scratch LEGO? Mine is pretty soft.

Very nice LL. Lone Ranger looks perfect, especially the face. Red-faced Tonto looks good as well. Great little scene with some nice details like the pack on Silver.

Thank you all for the comments. Too red some of you say? Maybe it could use some additional details, but the solid red was quite intentional. I did consider adding some red grill bricks, but wasn't sure where to place them. I'm not real fond of the roof, but it does seem to work. Also, the top is 8-wide, but it makes it more like the real thing. Inspiration image: And an old Union Pacific from the Nevada ghost town Rhyolite: This may be the last car of the Santa Fe Western. EDIT: I modified adding some grill bricks as well as a sloped roof. I think I like this better:

Thrawnseg: why would you post this topic in Train Tech? I've moved to Town.
