  1. Looks like you added the oversized images back - still not resized. EDIT: You got it. Thanks for taking the time to resize - much appreciated.
  2. Even attached to the track?
  3. This is really one amazing engine and a great variety of pictures to get an idea of all the fantastic details. I did; however, remove three of your over-sized images. You're welcome to add them back within our site guidelines of 800x600 max. Still, a splendid locomotive.
  4. Great design! I'm most impressed with how it climbs. I think this deserves some front-page attention. Please feel free to introduce yourself in the Train Tech registry as well - welcome.
  5. Culdee Fell Engine If you're a fan of rack and pinion LEGO Trains or know any of the stories about the Snowdon Mountain Railway by Rev. W Awdry, creator of Thomas the Tank Engine, you'll enjoy this recent build by LEGO Train fan VMLN8R. Climb to the summit of Train Tech in his amazing Culdee Fell Engine. VMLN8R also shares a video of the LEGO Train as it climbs a steep hill.
  6. Welcome Brickie and Wondermonkey. Congratulations on your recent LEGO Train tags. I hope you guys enjoy our LEGO Train Community. Feel free to share custom MOCs in the future. Merry Christmas.
  7. Thanks for resizing. I've always had a soft spot for Western Trains, so this nicely modified Christmas version made the cut. A shiny train tag for our 200th registered member of Train Tech.
  8. Your daughter in the picture makes it! -kids are what Christmas is all about. What's inside the present box?
  9. Great modified Christmas Train. What really captures my eye though, is the sled around the track. That's not powered, is it?
  10. With your pictures, this came rather close to receiving a lump of coal, but for the Christmas Train and gnome elves, you made it. Merry Christmas.
  11. Nice job JopieK. I like all the fun antics around the train as well. Seeing your Santa arrive, I need to see if I even own a LEGO Santa - perhaps I have one with the LEGO Christmas Train. It's also nice to hear a little about the origins and traditions of Santa. I never new Coke was responsible for the American Santa as we've come to know it. I always thought he was part of the vision of the German Kris Kringle. In any case, nice display. Enjoy your new tag and Merry Christmas!
  12. I always like seeing the Christmas floor villes and trains around the tree. This year, I regret I didn't break one out (Playmobil or LEGO). It's great to see the winter activities on the cotton snow. Oh, and you should see your shiny new Train Tag.
  13. Merry Christmas, ho...ho...ho... It's that special moment we've all been waiting for. Which of our fantastic LEGO Train builders will be receiving a special LEGO Train tag for their avatar this year? The recipients are: SavaTheAggie: Twas the MOC Before Christmas Wondermonkey: Aloha From Hawaii! Brickie: Winter Village Train JopieK: Arrival of Santa & 'His' Goods Markg: Winter Tunnel Train Legoroni: Santa's Delivery Express Commander P5: Woody's Western Chase Congrats to all our builders! May you and your families have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year filled with good fortune.
  14. Welcome Commander P5. You're the 200th registered member to EB (confetti drops from ceiling). You've just acquired a special title - and we don't usually give titles to our newbies. Hope you enjoy the forum and EB. EDIT: oops, I almost forgot, now you need to replace that Star Destroyer with a Train. We won't tell KimT.
  15. Your oversized images have been removed. Please adhere to our 800x600 max image size. I've left one image so that others can still see. You're welcome to add them back when you have the size less than 800x600 per our site guidelines.
  16. Absolutely love it! I think this deserves some special mention on the front-page!
  17. Seasons Greetings from Train Tech! The Christmas and Holiday LEGO Trains are starting to roll into the Train Tech forum. Busy LEGO Train engineers are diligently working on their LEGO Christmas Trains in hope that they will be able to pick up toys from the North Pole and deliver them on Christmas Eve. A shiny Train Tag awaits those who make a successful delivery. One well-known LEGO Train builder, SavaTheAggie, has even shared his rendition of the famous Christmas poem, Twas The MOC Before Christmas. "When what on my wandering tracks should appear, but a mini-scale coach, and eight tiny traindeer", he poetically writes building a fabulous mini-Santa LEGO Train. Make sure you stop in and visit Train Tech this holiday season and check out some of the wintery Christmas LEGO Trains. Hot chocolate sold separately.
  18. Very nice Commander and welcome to EB and to Train Tech. Please be aware that our image posting guidelines are 800x600. In addition, you might want to introduce yourself in the Train Tech Registry as this is your first post. Merry Christmas!
  19. Welcome jcnoslegos. You should feel fortunate to have purchased a Santa Fe Super Chief. Many missed out on one of the best LEGO Train sets offered (IMP). Sounds like you've got a nice collection started. I hope you enjoy our LEGO Train community. Merry Christmas!
  20. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! What's that coming around the track? Is that the sound of jingle bells in the distance? Ho...Ho...Ho... The Santa of Train Tech (yours truly) needs some help from EB's LEGO Train Community. This year, the tracks of EB's Train Tech forum look a little bare. Why is that? you ask. There's not many holiday trains in the forum and Santa needs to get his toys out of the North Pole for all the good little girls and boys. This year, Santa has extended a generous offer to those who build and share an image of their LEGO Train (of the Christmas variety that is). Christmas Train builders will be provided with a special EB LEGO Train Tech tag to hang below their avatar this Christmas, but not any train will work. The LEGO Trains needed for the North Pole require special magic. For more information, check out Christmas Trains found only in the Train Tech forum. Santa Needs You!
  21. Very nice Ust. Thank you for sharing. I do ask that you please resize your images though. Our site guidelines are 800x600 max. In addition, we are an English speaking board so both English and German is not necessary - hope you understand.
