Are you asking me to share the inspiration behind this/other Grave Stone/Ghost Train MOCs?

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Batbrick: I always enjoy reading your comments/reviews. Yes, that is a roof. If you mean you're not sure if you like it or not, here's a picture of a water tower model for you to see a sample roof design. This was more or less the look that I was shooting for:

Asuka: I can't believe you mentioned paddle steamer. I've been wanting to build one for a few years (no kidding). It won't be part of this Ghost Train collection, but one day... As many on EB know, I also collect Playmobil. It was one of their sets that was made many years ago (in prototype form), but never produced. I always wanted to make one in Lego. If I can find the image, I'll post. What made you think of a paddle steamer? EDIT: Here's the image:

Professor Jones: Could sh-you chaps shpare a lift for a lady and her Rebelious mates? German Gunner to German Driver: I did not know that Herr Jones vas so vell built . Make room! Schnell! Schnell!

Thanks for sharing. I was a big Battlestar Galactica fan in the 80s and loved the old cylons. This is really clever.

I need to use some different background images now. Thanks for your comments WF. Good observation. The way these worked is that when they were not in use, the spicket would lift (like it is in the picture). When the trained passed underneath, the spicket was lowered for the water to come out. You probably can't tell from the picture, but it does lower for the train. EDIT: Oh, and BTW: Thank you. Your comment reminded me that I failed to include a string/rope to raise and lower it. Got it now.

Rickety Water Tower If you're trying to get away from someone or something near the desolate town of Grave Stone, you might think twice before setting a foot on the ladder of the Rickety Water Tower. Climbing high into the midnight sky, an old hoot owl stands perched on the rotting wood railing, watching all that is seen and unseen. A strange green liquid drips from the water tower's black spicket. Could it be the putrid water of Grave Stone? Perhaps... but maybe the water tower hides something more sinister within its large storage container, something that smells of death. :skull:

The last three sets of the Indiana Jones Adventure Hero Collection: Indiana Jones and the Ucha Warrior Indiana Jones (Disguised) and Marion Ravenwood (includes snake) Indiana Jones and the Cairo Swordsman And that just about completes the 9-set collection. Now that I have 6 of the map pieces, I will be ordering the exclusive Indiana Jones on Horse. Will share an image in 10-12 weeks. EDIT: The Completed Redemption Map:

Actually, she is; as are most villains in Grave Stone. Without getting into a lot of concept re. Grave Stone and the denizens of the town, the witch serves as a symbolic representation of the evil female force, who opposes the power of the undead outlaw and "traditional" gunslingers. She represents an evil spirit seeking vengeance, a sensual allure, and the wisdom of an aged woman. I think witches bring an entirely different kind of evil to the story. Some of these aspects can not be written in or represented by the typical "cowboy" persona.

Actually, you've mentioned something that I had considered, very reminiscent of the Wild West. In fact, I have a design that I'd like to try. Not sure if I'll be building, but a good idea nonetheless. I have a few more things that I've been thinking about - just need the right pieces.

Fantasy Era - nausicaakro bad and good guys
WesternOutlaw replied to nausicaakro's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice job Nausicaakro. I really like the one on the far left with the Darth Maul face. He looks scary. The pumpkin on the stick is also good. I like the pumpkin head with the brown pirate hat. It must be a Legend of Sleepy Hollow thing for me. Nicely done figs. You should post much smaller pictures though. -
As a fan of the ninja theme, it's great to see the interest resurface on EB. As others would say, Ninja On! Oh, and feel free to dig up some of those great Ninja MOCs that others have shared. Flashback: I moved a couple of years ago, and the ninja theme was the first collection of sets I pulled out of the Lego storage boxes (I think). It was fun building some ninja MOCs as I never did when I first bought the sets.

What an outstanding copter! I love it. The orange looks fantastic. This is probably Lego's best copter to date. Thanks for sharing the review. I would definately recommend that you downsize your pictures a bit though.

Now I understand. Thanks for clarifying.

I think the bright red torsos add a nice color element to the dark black background. It helps bring them out.

Thank you FT. I've been wanting to add a witch to the Grave Stone collection since mentioning her in one of my older MOCs, the Spooky Shack. Here's the story: Near the outskirts of town, not far from the desolate town of Grave Stone, a spooky old shack stands next to a dead black tree. It is rumored that someone or something was burried under that old black tree years ago before the gold in the hills that surround Grave Stone went dry. Harold Axewood, a rugged mountain man, lives in the spooky old shack. Some say that Harold was once married to a woman by the name of Millicent Clemens and that he drowned her in the well near his shack, burrying her in a shallow grave under the old black tree. Her spirit haunts the shack and she can sometimes be seen as a witch flying above the tree. No one visits Harold Axewood anymore, but on any given day, he can be found chopping wood outside the Spooky Shack.

Nice interview - very much to the point. Although pics of your college lair would be neat to see. Gold City- Yahhhooo! Excellent choice. This is one of my all time favorites as well. I'm glad you mentioned the Town Plan. I've been debating if I should buy. - still so many sets to decide on.

Interesting poll WhiteFang. I'm between the black (simply because when I think of ninja, I think of those that sneak around in the night), and the green because it was so rare. I think I only own one green ninja in fact). I ended up voting black, with green close behind.
