LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
MatthewRC replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Since we’re apparently getting a Homer & Krusty BrickHeadz 2-pack this November, I’d like to see a Mr. Plow vehicle set with Homer Simpson in his winter apparel! -
Actually, The LEGO Group is no longer supporting previous versions of LDD. If they ever release a new update for LDD, the current version (4.3.11) will no longer be supported. They’ll only support the current version.

Well, maybe LEGO might as well give us Adventure Time BrickHeadz someday.

I really hope LEGO makes more Adventure Time sets one day, even though the show is set to end this Labor Day on September 3rd.

Tutorial How to: DIY decals
MatthewRC replied to mkeller234's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
What's the recommended size of a face decal for blank minifigure heads? -
Okay, but I don't want it as stickers because they might peel off. How can I get my patterns printed onto the heads by someone?

Actually, I've already found a Velma Dinkley face pattern and successfully manipulated it with GIMP. If you want, I can PM you the modified face decal for Velma.

Hey, guys. I’m trying to gather LEGO parts to be used for stop motion brickfilming, but I heard using blank LEGO minifigure heads is highly advised. I was intending to do a LEGO Scooby-Doo brickfilm, but I need to know someone who can add custom face decals to blank minifigure heads for Velma Dinkley. The custom face decals I need for Velma are dual sided. One with just glasses and freckles on the first side and the other with freckles only and without glasses. First, I need to know where I can find face decals from LEGO Scooby-Doo minifigures online. That way I can find a Velma face pattern so I can manipulate the image with Gimp. Then, I can show whoever can help me the patterns I want on both sides of my blank minifigure heads. Please let me know who can help me. Thanks!

Alright, now that LEGO has announced 21311 Voltron, the first ever LEGO set to be based on an anime series originally from Japan, I can imagine LEGO doing an anime adaptation of their properties. My pick would be Bionicle: The Mata-Nui Saga! Based on the Mata-Nui timeline, Season 1 could cover the 2001 storyline, Season 2 covering 2002, Season 3 with 2003 and onwards. If LEGO ever decides to remake their classic Bionicle sets as a tie-in, I think it'd be pretty interesting to see. Oh, and believe it or not, the word "Bionicle" can also be translated into Japanese! バイオニクル - Baionikuru Does anyone think Bionicle could work out as a Japanese anime as long as it stays true to the source material?

Yeah, or maybe a Japanese anime adaptation of LEGO Exo Force or the Mata-Nui timeline of Bionicle! I'd love to see an anime based on a LEGO property.

Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
MatthewRC replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
This is spectacular! LEGO hasn't even given us any The Simpsons sets since those three LEGO Dimensions packs in 2015! Glad to hear LEGO still has the license for The Simpsons! -
LEGO Ideas Discussion
MatthewRC replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Let's just wait and see what's new for LEGO Ideas. -
Hopefully Mega Construx May lose the Futurama license in the future if the Disney-Fox merger is approved, but Futurama isn’t family-friendly due to PG-13 content.

LEGO Ideas Discussion
MatthewRC replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hey, guys. Just to let everyone know, LEGO Ideas is going offline for an update on June 26 at 6AM PST/9AM EST for an approximately 12-hour period. I wonder what the update will be? -
Let's wait and see if, and only if, Disney manages to acquire 21st Century Fox and its entertainment assets. Disney and LEGO once again have a wonderful relationship, so only time and money will tell.

So, does LEGO still have the license for The Simpsons, or has it expired? I hope that, if Disney successfully manages to acquire 21st Century Fox, LEGO could make more The Simpsons sets, such as BrickHeadz or even a Mr. Plow set with a new wintertime Homer minifigure!

I know I am! I hope LEGO Voltron can transform and combine without being taken apart and rebuilt.

How would you guys feel about a Masters of the Universe line?
MatthewRC replied to LegoAndDisney's topic in LEGO Licensed
Never gonna happen because Masters of the Universe is a Mattel toyline, and Mega Construx has released He-Man merchandise. -
Maybe I could also do a campaign for a full LEGO Adventure Time theme. I mean reruns of the show are set to air on Cartoon Network’s Boomerang sister channel, and LEGO & Cartoon Network do have a positive partnership.

Oh, cool! I meant waiting for the announcement by LEGO themselves.
