  1. Ah, that's what I figured. Is that color shared by any of the subtheme's spacecraft, or is there a different transparent color used for their windows?
  2. Blue windows? Are they Trans-Dark Blue or Trans-Light Blue?
  3. Yeah, I'm so sorry I forgot it when I initially posted this poll, as that's one pretty major action/adventure theme to overlook compared to others. While I'll admit it was a bit much then, I wouldn't mind seeing that "grimdark" vibe applied to the villains of a future action/adventure theme, just as long as that theme's protagonists opposing them sit on the way opposite end of the spectrum for contrast.
  4. Ah, that assembly. When I hear armor in relation to minifigures, I typically think of minifigure wear that slips on over a figure's torso.
  5. Which particular armor piece was shared by both the Nexo Knights theme and Mr. Freeze?
  6. Being Lego's only two major "spooky" action/adventure playthemes seen so far, I definitely prefer Monster Fighters over Hidden Side for the former's more classic premise and setting, as it's basically Universal's Monsters versus a sorta League-of-Extraordinary-Gentlemen type of assemble.
  7. Trans-Orange in general, or Trans-Bright Orange in particular?
  8. Lego did once have a true mecha-centric Space theme with 1997's RoboForce, yet I still hope they'll revisit such a focus for a future in-house Space theme.
  9. As I've also mentioned over on the Marvel topic back when the catalog leaked, I think more of this guy from Series 7 in terms of color scheme rather than Nexo Knights:
  10. All things considered, Stealth Spidey's pretty decent looking; but, as expected, his head is still pretty close to its source material, so it's still somewhat too techy-looking to be reused for a more spot-on purist Spider-Man Noir.
  11. Yeah, I grew up with wooden railway systems like Brio (Learning Curve's Thomas Wooden Railway system in particular), so this concept of bringing the format to the LEGO System holds a little bit of nostalgia for me.

  13. DAMNIT! Shoot, I've totally overlooked that theme, one that should've been included in the selection lineup for the 2000's action/adventure themes poll. Well, thank you for bring up that major oversight of mine, as it has now incorporated into its corresponding topic, being a theme introduced in 2009 and all:
  14. ...and here it is officially!
  15. I wasn't 100% certain of this initially with the leaked catalog image, but yes, this Quinjet has a TRANS-LIGHT ORANGE recolor of 35404!
  16. Well, check out this adorable little LEGO Ideas project by cheeseinthepie... LEGO Ideas - Miniature Train Set
  17. If you look back at the theme's box art, it's almost like if Michael Bay directed how the look and feel of the line should be, as if the intention was for it to convey grimness, except it turned out comically bad in a rather cartoonish way.
  18. Congratulations @pombe on having this creation of yours featured over at The Brothers Brick! The Brothers Brick - Flying the skies in old-school style
  19. I could also see this move manifesting in the form of future Creator Expert Modular Buildings and D2C Landmark sets taking more after Oriental influences, perhaps even rippling over to the Architecture theme, influencing a future in-house "big bang" action/adventure theme, and acquirement of licensed properties that the Chinese market takes more interest in than America or Europe do.

  21. It certainly was a very different System-based playtheme compared to anything that came before or after the fact, as its tone was more akin to Bionicle.
  22. It's kinda cool to see Adventurers getting most of the love so far!
  23. Even though there have only been just under thirty voters as of the time of this post, it's interesting to see how Legends of Chima has some of the least fanfare so far.
  24. No problem! Here's a translation via Google Translate that's pretty much alike to how you put it: P.S. This topic would've been preferably posted over at either the General LEGO Discussion or Embassy subforums. Perhaps, @WhiteFang can help with the move.
