    My statement I ordered all the rare parts was not quite right! I ordered all the parts shown as rare color on rebrickable's inventory! Some of them are really rare, some of them are not as rare as it's sounds, but you will have to order from different shop's to get the quantity you need, and they are relativly expensive! And there are some parts not shown as rare, but they are rare in quantity! But I think in most cases it's no big problem to change the color from brown to dark brown or reddish brown without changing the great look! It's the used look of the Sandcrawler! I will go through the partlist on the weekend, and when I'm done I will post the parts I have found!

    Ahh, ok the "codes" are not for everybody! No problem, the only thing that's not completely clear are the lightcables!

    If you look at Bricklink I think the price will be around 2000 € (all parts new)! I just ordered all the rare parts! 400 parts - 350€ without shipping (new and some old parts)! I had to order from 17 different stores, so in my case it will be over 400€ for the rare parts alone!

    Yep.....or buy 32 in light grey (used), there are shop's in Europe and the US which have the quantity (for the price of 15 cents per part)....that's what I did! The cylinders have different diameters, and is it really cheaper? Because you will need 96 instead of 48!

    It`s on page 1 of this thread! Most of the parts can be in any colour, but you need a few in grey! I would buy like 10 in "light grey" (not the LBG ones), because they are much cheaper and it makes no difference!

    Holy shit......I'm so sorry, special thanks to @krisandkris12 of course for this beautiful model! And no, it doesn't look better in this size, they both look gorgeous in their size!

    Another little update of my fleet. The propulsion color of the 3 Blockade Runner has been changed to trans light orange. I have also built four YV-929 Armed Freighter and once the Tough Barge. (thanks to @EKae) At the moment the ship's are not at their final position, I will post better pictures within the next days!

    The tubes are from an old 4504 falcon! The lighting system is called "Light Stax"! The black part you mention is called Power Brick! Here is another picture! You can build directly on it, or you can use an extension cable for longer distances! The piece between the mandible is made of: part 32324 x1 2x4 Brick x2 2x8 Plate x1 1x8 Plate x1 54200 x2 2412b x3 3794b x2 6231 x2 48656 x2 30413 x1 4599b x1 98138 x1 56902 x2 You can find a better picture on page one of this thread! If the picture is not enough, I'll make new ones! Excellent as always ! Really love the internals of the two bottom engineering bays ! I think I have to overwork my bottom panels!

    Hey guys, here are further pictures from my WIP! I think on the outside the only thing that has changed since my last update is the area between the mandibles on the underside! On the inside I have started to add some walls and a little bit of details, but that's still WIP! Also still WIP is the light section! At the moment the engine is working, and we have light in the gun turret! Now I will see if I can get some light into the cockpit! So that's all, hope you like it!
