LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
bricksmarlin replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
100% agreement! An 800 € set is not for children, although there may be some who still get one. The falcon should look like the one from "marshal banana", then I'm happy! I do not need interiors! If it does not look good, I will build "marshals" version, I have the guidance from "brick customs" for it! -

1:1600 scale! Sorry not the Venator! My fault! I should read first Avenger = length = 1600 meter / model is about 1 meter = 1/1600 scale Venator = length = 1150 meter / model (Anio) 1,12 meter = 1/1027 scale- 86 replies

[MOC] Imperial Hovertank TX-225 GAVr
bricksmarlin replied to hattedsandwich's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@Azrielsc Nobody has to catch up with anybody, it's no contest! To be honest , it is a little bit to much at the moment! The costs of everything together are getting a little bit out of control ! I have to reload my wallet! But what can you do? There is always something -

bricksmarlin replied to hattedsandwich's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@Azrielsc me to. It looks awesome! Did you also build DarthPineapples version of the TX-225? I think this two are the best!? I bought both instructions, but didn`t get the time and money to build them until now. But I definitely will! -
ISD Aggressor (Star Destroyer MOC w interior and instructions)
bricksmarlin replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Little change of plans, I think I'll tackle the aggressor a bit earlier than actually planned. The first four orders are out, all lots with over 100 parts. 5088 parts altogether.Just below 500€. -

No! He has done an impressive Star Destroyer that's true, but that's far away from 1/250th scale! -

bricksmarlin replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not from my version! I used the photos of Mortes flicker account to reverse engineer them! I didn't create a lxf. file because I have never worked with LDD! But forum member @EKae has a lxf. file of his version! Don't sell yourself below value! It sure will! Your Tyrant and also the Aggressor are so unbelievable I still can't believe that this monster will be standing here in some time! Can't wait to see that happen! Thanks again for the opportunity to build a masterpiece like this! It will be a pleasure -
@Azrielsc Both look really cool, I like it! Today I got my bricklink order with the missing part for the U-Wing. If anyone is interested how to build, pictures can be found here. http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/album/6703-u-wing-microfighter/

ISD Aggressor (Star Destroyer MOC w interior and instructions)
bricksmarlin replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not anymore I guess! After returning from my dark ages in march 2016 my main focus lies on Star Wars UCS and some of the bigger sets like Ghostbuster Headquarter, Simpsons House, Kwik E-Mart.....stuff like that! At the moment I'm working on the last little steps to finish my "Mortesv" fleet! Thanks Dave....to be honest, this is my corridor, I have no "Lego room" You can find some better pictures here! http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/member/8754-bricksmarlin/ -

After looking through my LBG / DBG parts the result is, "tata".... I have 498 lots and 13.222 parts to go! Still alot, but better than nothing! -
@EKae I like it alot! I also like your Dornean Gunship! I think I will also build one for my fleet! Thanks for the files!

Holy shit.... @Lobot you are the man ! The picture is perfect! I have converted the image to a resolution of 25000x7992 / 1200dpi (file size 95MB / upload max. 100 MB), so it should look fantastic! Test pattern will be ordered! Thanks so much....awesome @EKae Love it, possible to get the lxf.? first layer black waiting for parts from bricklink. pics how to build will follow tomorrow.

Now it's time for me to say thank you for the opportunity to build this great model. I think many of us here in the forum have often and long admired the mighty "Tyrant", by the way, Rasko it's a masterpiece.....unbelievable. That's why I'm incredibly pleased that Raskolnikov, and of course Legolijntje are now giving us the possibility to build the smaller "monster" ourselves. I have ordered the first parts, but only everything rare, the stickers and some of the bigger lots at the moment (safety first). I have to finish other projects first. Anyway, I'm already looking forward to this awesome Moc. greetings Steffen -
Thanks for the nice comments. @mortesv I was looking for a picture of your Heavy Tanker when I saw the X-Wing. @Azrielsc One base is only changed to black. For the other two bases I used 1300 4x4 plates in black as the first layer. / 5 €cent = 65€) That's ok. But I will need something between 4500-5000 2x4 tiles in black to cover the three bases. (21 €cent / PickaBrick) Not so funny @Lobot The scene itself is great, but I can't use a picture like that. Maybe if I can find something like that in better quality. The problem is, the printing house prints this pictures in quality up to 1200dpi. Most of the free pics that I found in the internet have something under 100dpi like your picture 72dpi. If you upload a picture like that you can see on a calculator that the print quality is by maybe 70% and I need three pieces like 1,60x1,40m in size each. So the 300dpi of my picture is the minimum to get the quality that I need I guess!

[MOC] The EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - Rebel Fleet
bricksmarlin replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hello... So if I had to make a setup with the fleet I would try this. I would start with the white GR75 which is on the mirror. At first position, and in first row. Then I would place your Tantive slightly offset backwards in second row. In third row, again slightly displaced backwards I would try the Hammerhead, which is on the highest stand. Then the Nebulon with GR75 and Dornean Gunship underneath, as seen on your pictures, And finally, the two Hammerhead in medium height together with Ekae's Liberator on it's high stand, Then the different ships would be mixed a bit more.
