Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BacktoBricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Here's my thoughts: 75978 is a D2C and includes the Gringotts cart scene from PS and / or the dragon scene from DH. 75978 is not the D2C, but a Ministry of Magic set and includes the fountain scene with Harry and Voldermort's fight. 75978 could be a Chamber Of Secrets set as that is a very 'iconic' underground scene. -

Hi and welcome to the forum. Your English is very good. Better than my French! I think they are possible, and a Tonks minifigure has been hinted at by a leaker. She may be in a Burrow set or maybe even the CMF, but we don't actually have 100% confirmation we are getting a Burrow set. Lupin we are not so sure about, but as he is already in the Hogwarts Express he is maybe not as essential. -

Any clues as to how many times we'd have to turn a Time Turner? ? -

I'd say that is a correct interpretation, although like you say, I don't think it really adds anything to what we would expect Lego to do with the minifigures and have some from various movies. -

Oh yes, the microscale disappointment was definitely tempered by those founder figures. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect there to be no Harry, Ron and Hermione (it would be weird if they weren't considering they are the main characters and DA will hopefully be a 'play' set), but I would just like new variants of them. Of course we may well be getting more than one set of the trio in the set to go with different films so the POA figures may well be there to get the numbers up. -

Surely a POA Hermione included in a DA set would have to be wearing the striped sweater included with the Hermione minifigure in the Hogwarts Express set? She doesn't wear anything else in DA in POA does she? If they include tan mid legs with the figure it would be more accurate, but both her and the Harry minifigures would be wasted slots for me considering you can easily source her POA hair and tan mid legs and mod the current figure. -

The Room of Hidden Things is one form of the Room of Requirement so we are getting it sort of, but not in the Astronomy Tower. Getting a Vanishing Cabinet would make sense if we are getting a Diagon Alley set. Maybe the fireplace build said to come in the ROR set can turn and there's a vanishing cabinet on the other side so you can switch up the room. Just a thought, probably not how it is. -

It's not really a leak because it's just Harry's torso from last year's sets with some mid grey legs. Not sure why they are putting up a photo of it with the new Harry figure, but it doesn't mean any more POA sets are coming. -

What if we get Crab and Goyle and then they have alternate face prints which are Harry and Ron. Their 'accessories' could then be Harry and Ron's hair so you could go between full Crab and Goyle, to Ron and Harry when they are mid transformation and in Slytherin robes and with C/G hair, but their H/R faces, then to Harry and Ron in Slytherin Robes. -

I mean, if there was any year when sets that would normally sell well don't, it would be this year what with what is happening economically. Given that, and the fact that the price of the Souless One just seems completely disproportionate whether you consider price per piece (which I know is technically a fan method of pricing not official) or the amount of 'stuff' you get, and on paper at least, the AAT's price doesn't look too good and I can't see the Clone Wars sets from this wave selling well. The 501st Legion maybe, but after that I think most general consumers will be using any money they have on the Razorcrest, Night Buzzard (for those KOR figures) and even the AT-AT due to its iconic status. Now I don't consider these Summer sets to be classic 'prequel' sets; the Souless One and Anakin's Interceptor might be ROS based, but the 501st Legion is definitely based on CW and the AAT is if the rumours are correct. But my fear is that Lego will look at these as 'prequel era' sets, they don't sell well partly due to the fact that people will have a lot less disposable income this year and those who would have bought them now simply can't, and then we get less prequel sets again. I'm still wanting more 'classic' prequel sets based on the movies (TPM and AOTC really). -

I don't think so. I mean they are similar, but they don't have blue printing on the upper arm which really plays a part in their ROS look to me. These are probably based on TCW. -

Yes that stingray is fantastic. The seahorse from Friends is also pretty cute. -

There's a new picture on IG of a few Lego animals all together, one being the new owl with spread wings. Not sure if we've had this specific angle as we've had so many, but boy does it look really good. I also like how the photo shows that it really does look like a different species to the old owl mould so there looks like more variety now. -

Yep. I'm guessing it might be a bit like how Shy revealed recently that he couldn't comment or confirm things when customers said they'd heard this or that was about to be released and he had to bite his tongue. I think some of the leakers probably do know, but it's not worth them leaking it. On another note, the new Lego Idea Pirate Bay set comes out tomorrow and it includes a new pig which is like the one included in the recent Nexo Knights set, but with more 'realistic' eyes. Maybe something that could be included (or if not added if you wish) to a new Burrow set I'm thinking. -

Well if that's the case they got treated extremely badly and I'm not surprised we have very few 'reliable' leakers any more. -

I'm not saying I believe the leaks as I'm as sceptical as anyone, but I do remember that last year @TheRandomBlocker came out of nowhere and was reliable. They may have even had another older more established account, but chose a new one for security and anonymity so being 'new' doesn't automatically mean wrong. Even when the information is what we want to here (as TheRandomBlocker's was) it doesn't necessarily mean it is untruthful - @TheRandomBlocker got a lot of negativity (beyond polite scepticism frankly) and I'm not surprised they haven't been heard from since. As it is, I will just wait until official confirmation to be entirely sure, or take all 'leaked' information as rumour at best - even the 'reliable' leakers can get things wrong and especially at the moment things are clearly liable to change at short notice. Like you I question kingnono's credibility, but whoever they are, they have no obligation to prove themselves to us - it is up to us to be politely sceptical and decide if we want to believe the information or not. Now those people posting memes and Ariana Grande photos with the #legoleaks attached - now they're the people who make me . -

Anybody ever get the feeling that Lego has purposefully 'leaked' two different pieces of information/schedules to different sets of people to work out who is leaking what? (I am technically joking, but now starting to wonder if it is actually true. ?) -
Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BacktoBricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
It does, but then it also says 'Only sets included since 2018.' like the hint refers to minifigures that will add to minifigures we have got in the last two years and therefore give us more members of a family in minifigure form. -

Next hint: 'After this wave, several families can celebrate larger family celebrations. Only sets included since 2018.' Not that useful a hint really considering after the Dursleys, Weasleys, Malfoys there aren't really any other main families and we know we are getting the Dursleys, probably Lucius Malfoy, Molly Weasley. It might hint we are getting more Weasley's than known, but if a Burrow or a Diagon Alley set are coming I think we are expecting Ginny, Mr Weasley, Fred, George etc. -

I mean another version of the 'conductor' as you call it. We definitely don't need another version of the character in that form right now.
