When new sets sound like a threat we know the world really has gone mad. -

Yes the smile is straighter. Same with Quirrell. It seems like they are going with a uniform straight smile for the golden figures. Kind of makes sense as they are to celebrate a 'happy' anniversary. -

He said they're starting from scratch at 6pm, building the same sets, so don't expect anything new or a reveal. -

But he said they're starting over from scratch, opening and building the same sets, so don't expect anything new or revealed. -

I may be speaking too soo, but I think their surprises were the hidden DA and current Art sets under the table. They are finishing in 1 minute. -

So they're looking at Lego Art. For those of you with any of the Art sets, how does the dust effect them when on display? I can just see all those studs getting so dusty. -

Marcos was totally making Lego stud ASMR, but the other two didn't notice -

I'm remaining cautious and tempering my excitement because sometimes Lego's 'surprises' are underwhelming. -

They are focusing on DA right now and the collaborative build experience e.g. Four people in a family can build DA together with one building each. So it seems like just a marketing initiative to boost sales maybe after the initial hype has died. They also are streaming live to Lego stores in China and Japan so maybe they are targeting those markets. -

They've just said they've got some Lego Art related products 'hidden' under the table. EDIT: Marcos seems to just be showing off DA. So the Art sets 'hidden' might just be the same ones we already have. -

Ron also has a golden wand. But is it the Moments torso exactly? There seems to be one missing crease line and the crest is an odd shape. -

Okay. Think we should take a breather then before speculating. -

Do you mean the 'vehicle' set, Quidditch Moments, or Quidditch pack? -

Thing is, their post with the four characters appearing in the accessory pack was from weeks ago. Yes they could have guessed the names, but it seems unlikely. None of us put those four characters together did we? -

If you look in the comments they say it's a vehicle meaning something with pins (I assume they mean technic), but not a classic vehicle as in something with wheels. A buildable broomstick could fit this description, so I think it's still possible. -

Is it not just basically a golden version of the current Quirrell. -

As someone who loved to watch the comedy My Family when I was younger, Zoe Wanamaker's spiky hair was so cool to me back then. I feel like Hooch kind of got forgotten in the movies after PS so as much as I've got the Bricktober pack I'm glad to see her appear again. I think the hairpiece is great. -

Me too. I've lowered my expectations so much that anything with new minifigures will be welcome. -

The Chocolate Frog card is probably the only non-creature build that might still be interesting, although by no means would I actively choose it over minifigure 'normal' system sets. That is a good chocolate frog though - very dynamic. I've seen the card created by Daan De Ruijter and thought it was a cute design http://www.brickfinder.net/2018/07/31/lego-chocolate-frog-card-harry-potter/ -

Buildable Goblet Of Fire or Triwizard Cup. Lego seems to like making multiple versions of those. Otherwise, non-creature I would think could only be wands, Sorting Hat, Chocolate Frog cards, books, Horcruxes. -

As a kid I owned the Hogwarts Castle, Snape's Classroom, The Final Challenge, Hagrid's Hut and the Hogwarts Express from the first wave of sets. What I didn't realise at the time was how much of a novelty Licensed sets were back them. Until that point I'd just had a bucket of bricks for many years and a couple of the tiny Pirates sets and then my parents got me a couple of Star Wars sets (Slave 1 and the Snowspeeder) the year beforehand. As I didn't have any internet back then and only a small local toyshop, I therefore had no idea of Lego's product range and so I could not fully appreciate how lucky I was to be growing up in an era where licensed Lego was starting to be made. As such, even as a child I found the sets a bit lacking. I loved the Hogwarts Express and I do remember liking the little red trolley cart that it came with and the red lamppost and sign. And I liked the idea of Hagrid's Hut with Norbert, but found the card roof and elastic bands frustrating and there was little going on inside the hut. As for the castle, even as a child I thought it looked blocky and I remember it being quite cramped to play with. The holographic Dumbledore tile was probably my best take from that set which doesn't really say much for an expensive set! And as for the castle sections concept, that frustrated me at the time because the set I really wanted was the Forbidden Corridor with Fluffy but it was never available at my local shop. So I got Snape's Classroom instead which wasn't bad, but annoying because as much as I did love that glow in the dark Snape back then, this meant I now had two of them. I now have Fluffy having picked him up a couple of years ago and I still think that mould stands the test of time. I'll be interested to see if the new Fluffy heads look different, but I still think the full moulded piece has it's benefits. In general though, the things I found interesting were the printed books, hats, capes etc, all of which have so far been redone. A Dumbledore Chocolate Frog card would be cool though. -

The story is something like he was needed for some of the more 'action' scenes with Draco's gang in POA because the actor who played Goyle had hurt his arm and so could not fulfil that role. Could Pike have called been called Nott? Absolutely, although Nott was not so thoroughly connected with Draco in the books, but it would have kept it more faithful than creating a character.
