  1. Nice and all, but I would be impressed if it fit a minifigure? 8-| Looking at it I'm not sure :-$ Nice lil thing though.
  2. Interesting find, I wonder if it's any cooincidence that you can spell go-lego and just plain lego from google, when one of their very first harddrives was incased with it :-$ Like everyone else I thought it was another google topic :-P
  3. Right now im at school in Computer class :-$ After school I plan to work out with Joe and Branco, call Nate, and then do some stuff with him. The usual :-P But today I have a horridly sore throat - I think im getting strep throat |-/
  4. Thats inspiring 8-
  5. Its a small family owned shop with toys from before I was born - Theyre in a small community and dont get much light, but are still holding onto buisness, its a great place, lots of old stuff :-$
  6. Personally I like Yobrick, it ties in with old times and still maintains the Lego aspect of it. Great choice *y*
  7. Always a nice laugh, thanks again Dr. Sinsin *wub* You just keep cranking them out, where do you get your inspiration? :-D Nice job
  8. Received my 8777 Vladek's attack, and got my praised purple minifigure! I love it! *wub*
  9. Also, check out what Google did! *sweet*
  10. Rob Zombie - Meet the Creeper
  11. I especially like this idea, and the supersize idea. I would be sure to try and enter in both of them, the supersize me contest would give me an excuse to build a diorama, and I would especially love to build a favourite set of mine on a larger scale *wub* No spoilers!
  12. Frankly Ive just been talking to bestlock (emailing, actually) for quite some time, giving them a list of complaints and suggestions. My first was the brick height incapability, but I soon learned they fixed that problem in 2006 so that they could interlock with other brands :-$ I also complained about shoddy building techniques in the vehicles, like what you stated, some of the construction is just plain bad. I also gave a reccomendation of making the helmets and minifigure accessories able to interlock with other brands (Didnt want to name names!) Giving suggestions to a clone brand? :-| I know, seems abit devious, but hey, maybe something of some use to army fans will come of it.
  13. Rob Zombie - Spookshow Baby
  14. Have a designated room in your house or apartment for your legos, and just block it off from visitors when they are over. Thats what I basically do - right now its abit in the middle, as im moving it from the 3rd floor attic to the basement, but It will be out of the way ;-)
  15. These are stunning X-O I'm not a frequent to the customizing workshop, but I am impressed with what you're doing here *wub* I can just see the frustration in the building and shaping at such a small scale, especially spikes, and especially making it look symetrical. :-$ And for the small size, there is a nice amount of detail, they look great. You should be proud ;-)
  16. Anything StarWars. Jedi, ranks of clones, special kinds, Malandorians, you name it. (Any kind of army, military, or violence related thing really, is popular... ) I am not sure of what kind of just plain decal or sticker market there is, but you could give it a try, however, trying to sell custom things right off thebat isn't the best thing to do either - gain up your rep abit? ;-) I will also warn - People who would buy custom figures expect and have a high standard of what they look for, especially serious collectors and whatnot. Be sure you know what you're gettin' yourself into. And goodluck ;-)
  17. Don't worry about it, easy mistake, the 2008 creators thread is the least populated of all the 2008 threads ;-) Admittidly they were new to me (except the steg) untill after I looked, and I saw them in this 2008 thread, then I edited my post X-D So if anything you just brought them to larger attention, and thank you for that. ;-)
  18. Happy birthday man *sweet* Hope its a good one. This happens to be a friend of mine's birthday aswell :-$
  19. These ain't new, check the 2008 new creator topic, third page ;-) I haven't bought any small sets like this since the first wave of exo pods, and that ain't about to change from these, however :-$
  20. I think a beasty contest could be fun. Who could create the most genetically combined animal or test subject? :-P (I am unsure of how many would enter though, as it's sometimes hard to make animals from pure bricks; some creator sets doa good job of inspiration though) The good ole alternate model contest is always there aswell, but that's a hard one for me as if I keep a set togeather for a long time, it's usually because I had a reason for it and really like it, if it doesnt stay togeather for more than a day or two, it's been scrapped for parts from notliking :-$ Personally my favourite would be any kind of theme that could be incorperated into a diorama. I love dioramas, I have only made one unpopular diorama, but it was a blast to make. Anything like that would be great. Or just a plain ole land base vehicle purpose with a certain purpose. (Just any land based vehicle is kind of.. broad..) I'm no help :-$
  21. Alice Cooper - Frankenstien. Good stuff, I also just uploaded Alice Cooper's greatest hits.
  22. One of the best years for Lego in my opinion, so it seems as if corruption, works! :-D
  23. Wow, as to be expected, the winners are simply stunning, inspirational *wub* Thanks for the link, I would've never remembered to look back at the winners, as I'm not much of a castle goer, but they are great to look at. Congratulations to all ;-)
  24. I just kindof have a huge bin that they all eventually... eventually.. get thrown into :-$
  25. I woke up, joe called me, we met at the rec, we then snuck around the closed and dark school for an hour, while proceeding to make it ontop of the roof, and we were ontop of the school, and we were sneaking all around, it was epic *wub* EPIC. Somewhere in there I also wrestled Branco in the Gym, and I got beat, more hardcore than normal this time |-/ I'll get you yet! (He's a beast..) Then we snuck back all around ninja like, back to the rec centre, then watched Goodluck Chuck unrated. Then foosball for a half hour. Then we went to Porter's and hung there untill we got a ride to the movie theater and watched Juno with like 20 other people. Great dayy *wub* And now after this post, I'll be off to work out s'more
