  1. Well, among the brickshelf zoid find, I took my own challenge and decided to build a minifigure scale zoid! :-) I worked on it for a day, for a few hours, and just put on the last touches before I took these photos. I modeled it mostly after a particular zoid that a mercinary in season one drove.. I think it was Jack Sisco or something? And it was called.. a lightning saix? (prounounced 'psych') I am actually kinda happy with it, it's ment to be a super fast zoid, and it looks pretty slim. The design of zoids was much boxier than I originally expected - especially the liger zero 8-
  2. Right now there is no technique atall, but I am working twords color sorting :-$
  3. Always a nice comic, Dr. S. Good job *wub* I especially like the other grunt's comments at the end :-$
  4. Sigh, another debate :-| ... I think with the current themes and violence levels, It's only a matter of time before a war-like theme already appears (more so than already..) Themes just get more and more violent, and it's frankly only a matter of time before it comes to a heavily based war theme. There already are war themes, actually, just not with conventional tanks and soldiers. Exo force. It's the robots vs. humans over an area of land (a mountain). How is that not a war? :-| Frankly, if you dont like voilence or war, then don't buy the products, it's just like censorship. If you don't like it, it's your job to censor yourself from it, as not everybody thinks the same about it as you would. Another few cents of mine put into the neverending bag of voilence disputes |-/
  5. The inner workings are beautifully constructed *wub* Nice find
  6. We're too non-logical to have that here it would seem :-$
  7. I exactly agree with 5150. They could easily pull off a war theme without it being any more violent than any other theme out there, whether its batman or starwars. Starwars even has war in the name! An unofficial war-like theme would be just the same level of weapons than we see now. Every theme out there, except city and trains, now basically revolves around violence. Not even basically. It does. As for the Pow camps, no other toy has ever done that, why would lego? Don't even go to that area.. *wacko*
  8. I never got this set, and this review kindof makes me regret that, just like the huge temple set :-$ I see some nice components, nice golden sword, fabuland axes, white BURPs, Jonny's nice printed pocket pants.. etc. Thanks for the review, I love reviews of even old sets, makes me look back at old themes *y* ;-) Id love to see even more reviews from you on this line, if you intend to do any more. Thanks so far :-$
  9. I have to laugh at the police impulse set with the radar gun and the speed limit sign, and a dog. :-$ If he catches anyone speeding, how on earth would he stop them!? :-D If their only persuasion was waving the little pizza paddle with a blue dot on it, I'm not sure how far this police tactic would get.. :-P
  10. At first I thought the engine would just mean it would be like a hyrdoplane boat, where its basically a jet turbine with two pontoons, however, I then saw that there is only one on that one side. That could cause some... complications if it was a jet boat. So at that point I've no idea, but your net launching idea might be nifty, cute at that, I would love if it was! :-D *shoots net* >:-)
  11. I find it odd this set is already out? 8-
  12. I've been working ona pseudo zoid, after some inspiration from a thread :-$ It's done now, and just awaiting pictures, Im not all too happy with it, but it was a very hard build, I am particularily happy with how the head turned out, though. Keep an eye out? ;-)
  13. I'm from the good ole United States. It's interesting to see how the population of Eurobricks pans out over the world's countries. Seems it is mostly european, which is frankly no surprise X-D It's in the name.. afterall :-$
  14. Woke up, got on computer, talked to some people, then hade some lunch (woke up at noon..) Called Nate, hung out with him for afew hours, then got home, got bored, built a Lego Zoid. :-$ More hours passed, then I worked out abit, took shower, now browsing forums at 3 am. :-|
  15. I see that all the time aswell :-$ It must be just they leave the site up or they were active in the past however long, but the active members in the 'welcome' page and the actual forums, on the bottom, are never the same for me :-|
  16. Sorry for a double post, but I've just been working on (and just finished) a pseudo kinda zoid :-$ I'm not all that happy with it but they are not easy to build let me tell you! It remindes me of a psyche cat, I think it's called (from the first season, this one mercinary drives one..) It has a major influence of that in it, could anyone confirm a name? :-$ I'll upload pictures tomorrow to show you all, I am most pleased with the head design, I am kinda proud of the head :-$
  17. I would love a military theme, like many others, you and definately put me for a yes (even though a petition will get you nowhere, really..) For the sake of not debating, I don't care about violence. It sells. It makes money. It's here, its very real. And its what I build my mocs around. It's already horribly present in lego sets. Sadly, however, being a childrens toy, a military theme would probably be cartoon-ized, meaning it wouldn't be as realistic as I would like, but frankly at this point I'd take anything. I'm even somewhat happy with the spy agents theme now. *wacko*
  18. :-D Never seen that spoof, some of the quips were quite witty :-$ Nice depiction of final fantasy.
  19. No problem, always happy to help *sweet* Wisconsin is a nice place for the mostpart, obviously every large city has thier problems, but its pretty laid back-have-a-beer attitude here :-$ I don't mind it ;-)
  20. I sure can, try atleast ;-) Here, in this picture (ignore the green circles and such) you can see the 1x2 plate with a center stud in it, these make the people sit half a stud to the side (You can see the part here) using 4 of these, you can have 2 people sitting togeather in a 6 wide area ;-) Also take for example, I use the technique in this creation aswell - two people in a six stud area :-) Example picture 1 Example picture 2 I am unsure of how clearly I explained.. if anymore questions, feel free to ask, and I can see what I can do :-$ This also, does, work with doors - Here is an example for you, a red el camino, 6 wide, seating 2 people in the front (and 1 in back) ;-) Hope this helps somehow :-$
  21. I am unsure if you realize, but there are hoards of increadibly talented builders that havent even scratched at the surface at eurobricks that could be very vaulable to the community? *wacko* Also, strong opinions are nice to have, but can cause quite some grief in forums, which isn't all to positive, but meh. I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on :-|
  22. I don't remember what that part was, actually. And I just watched the last half of The Mask abit ago with a friend, we were bored and channel surfing, so hey, why not.
  23. I like your version much better, I feel the perfect size for lego cars and trucks is 6 wide *y* Can make 6 wide fit 2 people next to eachother, 4 is too small, much to small, and 8 just seems to big. Anyway, off topic there abit, I like your mods to this set, seems a small thing to do but took an entire redesign of the model. I like it much better this way.
  24. In my opinion, that is what I think somewhat. Although it's a matter of opinion, I don't think they're all that spectacular, I am sorry to say. Yes, they are good, but they receive utterly huge amounts of attention for whatever reason, and I'm not increadibly sure why. It's no Dragonstar or IronReich wall section, just some good vehicles. As for halo stuff, vehicle wise, I think this guys stuff is best here. Now thats great stuff.
