  1. Gotta go with the parrots, just such nice little details. And they're quite tasty to boot.
  2. School, worked out for 2 hours, listening to Rob Zombie currently. Short sweet awesome and to the point this time.
  3. Although any dead person is a bad thing on a certain scale, what about the daily deaths of starvation and disease around the world out of the United States? I'm sorry, but I don't really hold a celebrity anything to be more important than any individual's death. I dislike the hype of the celebrity cause. It just makes me think of how people ignore the real crisises around the world that people ignore. Anyway, I don't want to start anything bad, that's just my thoughts. Sorry for anyone's loss, but I aint one much for celebrities.
  4. Currently gathering ideas and working on my project, nice idea X-D I will enter
  5. Thank you *wub* These comments mean alot to me *sweet* My biggest challenge was the head aswell, I overall came out pretty happy with it :-$ For the joints, what I did was (just like my scarab model) was look at a picture and megablocks the limbs, then I would get some joints and plates and build a skeleton of the whole model, so I can see if the joints and such will work - this is what I did for here and my scarab ;-) Then when I get the skeleton satisfactory I encoat it with bricks to make it look like the model :-) I kindof looked at ligers and yes, my cats movement :-D (though he was voulintarily sleeping on my lap instead of tied down) ;-)
  6. I was thinking of seeing this; but if the whole movie is just nonstop jerking around I would probably get sick, I have horrible senses that way with just watching something :-/ I don't get motion sickness and such, as I love rollercoasters and stuff, but with a movie where i'm not actually moving, it would probably be more of a pain to watch quite frankly. I heard it was great, but that one small detail kinda drives me off it :-X thanks for the heads up
  7. You sure are crankin' 'em out Mr Sinister *wub* But I aint complaining :-P Your comics seem to rely on the errors of human behaviour - curiosity? Dont press the button = press :-P Theres more you can see in other comics, but it's a great tactic, I probably can't say much you haven't already heard with all the praise you get from these though ;-)
  8. Those were the very early on systems :-D But yes, in the galidor era, they were just more dependant upon and finalized, into the ones we recognize today :-) The first resemblance of it was in makuta, and the exo skeleten sets (and some others, you get the drift) ;-)
  9. The original mecha ball/click joints were developed from galidor ;-) So, I call them galidor joints.
  10. With afew simple joint adjustments a great exo force model can become even better, In my opinion, detail and playability should intertwine. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other, in my opinion. Whether it be places, or machines, detail and movement are important. Like the majour problem I saw with dark panther was the knees. They donnot bend - substitute some extra galidor ball joints from other mechs in place of the technic prong joint and itll pose like a charm ;-) Hope that's some help.
  11. Hmm, abit of a dissapointment to me aswell that the trolls legs dont actually reach the wheels, which seems pretty crucial to power it. However, at 40 dollars, and 6 figures, I'll just have to see how the rest of my lego list grows and see where I stand on this. Its on my want list, but not all that high up :-$ Thanks for more pictures. ;-)
  12. A nice comic indeed, Mr. Dreamweb, 'twas a good read *sweet* However, if you want any critisizm, I don't have much for you, but just one thing - it seemed on quite afew shots, you could've just combined what the characters said in that one shot, rather than going to another just for them and the new balloon :-$ However maybe thats just me seeing that, but it got alittle lengthy clicking the next button on brickshelf after just one balloon :-P Thanks for the comic, I'll be waiting for the next installment :-)
  13. Thanks for the comments guys *sweet* So far I've beefed up the paws, and am currently building a weapons system, basically just a huge mounted gun. Other than that I think im just going to leave it as is untill I decide to take it apart :-$ The more I look at it the more I see how wrong I am and better ways to build it :-X (Just limited on parts, so I cant..)
  14. Technic supercars, Monorails, Unitron, Making Set 4508 (Best set like ever!) Just to name afew of my favourites of all time :-$ In recent news, I do love the 2007 castle line, and innovative techniques of Mars Mission. All that and given the company as a whole, has allowed me to expand my knowledge, creativity, and made friends from all over the world - that and its just a great hobby to have *sweet*
  15. Sorry, but Lt Veers is right, that's old news to us ;-) Eurobricks is almost always the first to get new pictures - hard to show us something we haven't seen before. The thread is already here, as this is also not the first time you've done this, maybe should search around before proclaiming new news? :-P Just a friendly tip :-)
  16. Hey there, welcome to Eurobricks *sweet* Hope to see you around the boards ;-) Sure are getting alot of new members from Bz Power lately :-P
  17. I great expansive review, also helped on by the members here, inquiring more, thank you for your time in preparing this, and to Norro for taking the time to answer :-$ Witty and a pleasure to read, thanks guys.
  18. Thanks :-$ and heres a referance picture - the body actually seems too thin 8-
  19. Well, it's kinda old news, but thanks for the effort :-$ I still love all the orange and the large boat set ;-) The lego company has been asking to remove images aswell, in such a case I probably wouldn't flash them around as much anymore *wacko*
  20. There is still no answer to the girl with the hair to face ingestion problem. Hahah :-D Very nice find, and a witty presentation. Thanks for the laugh :-P
  21. It looks much more solid, in much more proportion, and a much better scale and color scheme. I like it heh :-$
  22. To get a heafty amount of lego, you do especially have to pay a heafty price, especially star wars lego. Especially on discontinued sets. Ep II clones are how much!? *wacko* I was thinking of selling my 12 or however many just because theyre going for insane prices, and I'd rather build an army of something else. Star wars lego, especially discontinued, are also absurd. Collecters and hoarders for battles especially boost prices :-$ Expensive and addicting, not good traits for the mostpart, but hey, most hobbies people have arent cheap ;-)
  23. I'd probably be dead if I did that in either case :-( I've never heard of this before though! In all my trips to Milwaukee and Madison even |-/ I had no doubt in california or new york, they would, but maybe here in Wisconsin were just not fancy smancy :-P Remindes me of a funny story though :-$ Once cruising through madiscon, there was just a cop with a speed gun and a walkie talkie sitting in a plastic lawnchair next to a busy curvy section of road in the city (one people would love to speed on.. hint..) And afew hundred feet down the road are three cop cars with flashing lights and three other cars pulled over :-$ Was just such an odd thing to do it seemed to me, but works! Ok, heavily off topic, I aplogize *sad*
  24. Welcome to EuroBricks! You seem like a friendley, well-grammared new member, always a great new addition *sweet* Nice to meet you, and I hope I can get to know you abit better and see you around the boards - and maybe some Moc's from ya aswell ;-)
