  1. Well, there are those (me included) who wouldn't / couldn't shell out the money for a big UCS set and gonna be quite happy with an affordable smaller version of the Sandcrawler. For my part I am quite exited!
  2. Yes the final version is definitely the best, it looks great alongside standard minifigs. I had to build one myself, but i left the head upside down, I think the stud on top captures the cone shape better. Great work, thank you!
  3. Since I don't have much room to show off my Lego, I really love the downsizing. I still have no clue how you were able to cram 2 minifigs in that small built, but it looks awesome!
  4. Well the attention you got is certainly well deserved. This is fantastic! I love everything, the buildings, all the nice details, the use of minifigs, and especially what you did with the terrain "spilling" out of the frame.
  5. Peace, it was just a suggestion. btw.: love the "Micro" Imperial Assault Hovertank!
  6. I haven't seen the movie yet, but it looks really spiffy. The updates make sense for the FO, and going with the smaller walker design (which i really like)is a nice change. Well done!
  7. Wow, so much going on here, very nice! My favorite has to be the A-Wing on the landing pad, that color scheme is awesome!
  8. btw: the white top dish of that speeder will go nicely with the new Hoth turrets instead of the original grey ones imo
  9. Yes please! With red/dark red jumpsuit and black/dark blue vest ...and, while I am dreaming, a new molded hair piece with ears.
  10. The only difference I can see is that the belt now seems to be part of the torso print, while before it was a separate print on the hip piece. Disappontingly no arm-printing like Greedo in the first cantina set, but I am not surprised by that anymore.
  11. Very nice, I like the cracked surface. Is there a red layer underneath? That would be neat. Maybe change the trans red for more standard red/dark red for a more "sandy" feel? Wasn't there a small midi built for the falcon a few years back? Not sure about the scale, but if you wanted a more "realistic" look, that would do the trick I guess.
  12. Really not bad, but I'm still hoping for a molded one. There was even a model in a LEGO game: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Bantha?file=LEGO-Bantha-1.png
  13. This new cantina set ... might this be a scene from the Han Solo Movie? ...I mean Wuher looks younger with black hair and beard, and Han and Greedo could have met there before (are the stories in "From Another Point Of View" canon?). This would explain the odd release choice (and the lack of aliens: there might be other patrons around at that time). Thoughts?
  14. Nice review! - I will definitely get one. I like the gray flight-suits, and I always wanted that Kenner toy back in the days (which was never released). So I'm gonna try to mod this baby to look more like the toy ...add a little dark orange and tweak it a bit.
  15. The pictures are also up on the Brothers Brick Website now. I certainly will get the Microfighter double packs for the nice minifigs, and probably the Defense of Crait set and the Sandspeeder.
  16. Yeah, except for the face, that looks pretty much like the minifig with the red helmet from the sandspeeder-set.
  17. They all look very nice, but I actually like yours best. It seems to be the most in scale with minifigs. Now I need to build a bunch of'em in different color schemes. Thanks for the LDD. cheers
  18. Simple and ingenious, I like it. The only thing still bothering me is the "seat" for Chopper. He is riding more or less on top of the ship instead of inside a slot. I probably would at least leave out the jumpers and round plate, so he sits a little deeper - but thats just me.
  19. Who in their right mind would spend a fortune on a pile of bricks, which you could get for a fraction of that price I always wonder? Yes I know, collectors. For my part I am quiet happy with the nice LDD provided by Ahzeal. Thank you, good work!
  20. Perfect! I think I am gonna use that as a template for the rebel conference room with the Death Star holo in the middle. A lot of space for many rebel pilots and such.
  21. That's a perfect match! I never had the old one and was so unhappy with the new one that I sold it again (keeping the minifigs of course). The only minor nitpick I have is the tan for the deck. It looks far to bright for my liking, but what can you do if the pieces/colors are not available.
  22. No, not really. How about leaving the tire off the barrel, and putting it at the end of the cone somehow, so it becomes the muzzle? That might work. I don't know if the blue isn't just the night and the lighting. Standard blue would definitely look off. Maybe DBG with some dark blue and sand blue accents.
  23. Very nice! I was toying with the same idea, but after seeing the prices for Qui-Gon I went with a second Leia-poncho instead, which was far less expensive (even though still not cheap), and turned it "inside out" to look more plain.
  24. Fantastic. It really gives you a perspective on the sheer size of those things. The only thing irritating me is the cone muzzle, but I have no idea how to substitute that...maybe with technic parts or even some stacked tires?
  25. Tatooine Luke is of course very nice and a must have for everyone, the Royal Guards are super cool in the movies, but I am still not impressed with the minifig. Hence I actually will go this Zander this round. I very much like the color, printing and his skin tone, over all just something fresh and different.
