LEGO Ideas Discussion
Legochaek replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It would be cool if someone who has enough posts to make a poll could make one asking people on EB which Bricklink Designer Program set they’re going to pre-order, if any. -
Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
Legochaek replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I hope they’ll do a normal clothes, sitcom black and white Wanda and a Scarlet Witch because they’d be such different minifigs. (Also can we spoiler tag this week’s Falcon and Winter Soldier episode stuff if we’re going to talk about it) -

By comparing current Lego ideas prices to the bricklink piece count, I’ve discovered that probably the lowest price of a set will be around £20 with most sets £100+. These are roundabout estimated figures, by the way. I’ve made a parliament building for a fictional country called Legottea, for the Lego House contest. Check it out here: https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/1f570af2-79dd-44f3-bba3-07978208f97b/application/054ec4da-d9ed-4f4f-972c-5982edf55758

As there’s still no leaks, we don’t think Architecture has been cancelled, do we? I love the skylines so I hope not

LEGO Ideas Discussion

I decided to figure out the likelihood of my favourite sets getting through, so I ordered the bricklink designer program sets by amount of comments. Of course, smaller sets may garner less interest while larger ones may receive more comments and less purchases, due to the price. The castle is clearly far ahead but near the bottom of the 13 there’s stiff competition. rank.set-number of comments 1.Castle-183 2.Train station - 126 3.Seasons in time-115 4.Winter chalet- 93 5.Bionicle-88 6.Temple of Hermit-64 7.Fishing boat-61 8.Diner-57 9.Mountain windmill- 53 10.Exploratorium-48 11.Construction site-44 12.Dive shop-43 13.Ruined house-42 (14.Lego store-41) (15.Brickwest studios-39) (16.Anatomini-38) (16.Kakapo-38) (18.Quest builder-36) (19.Bowling alley-34) (20.Venetian houses-33) (20.Observatory-33) (20.Pursuit of flight-33) (23.Safe-30) (24.Boat repair-27) )25.Boat house diner-23) (26.Aquarium-21) (27.Waterfall-20) (28.Japenese old style architecture-18) (29.Particle accelerator-10) (30.Space troopers-7) (31.Science adventures- 5) -

He much do we think Quest Builder (3547 parts) and Anatomini (2522) will be? £200 +? -
Nope, it’s not enough to get each unique set. There are two exclusive tiles in each beatbox and 1 exclusive in each bandmate. The other 14 tiles in the beatbox and 2 in the bandmates are random. Currently I have all the Bandmates plus 3 beatboxes and I have 41/82 non-exclusive tiles, plus 20 duplicates. So unless the next three beatboxes I get have 14 non-duplicates, I’m not going to get a complete set of tiles without buying from Bricklink. (For reference, that’s a 50% duplicate rate ) It is possible, though, as a full set of bandmates and beatboxes would net you 108 non-exclusive beatbits, but it’s a chance so low it’s about as likely as aliens coming tomorrow.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Oh, right, thanks. Essentially it’s almost impossible to get all the beatbits, then. The beatboxes have 2 special and 14 random. So if you get all the figs and all the boxes, you’ll have 24 exclusive beatbits, plus 108 random beatbits. Non-exclusive are 68 different beatbits, so every time you want a particular beatbit it’s like picking up a couple of random CMF bags if CMF series had 68 figures (a 1.5% chance). And of course you have to pick up a random box of bandmates, which has an 8% chance of getting what you want.

Does anyone know if each bandmate gets a random set of 3 beatbits? Because if so, it’ll be basically impossible to collect all 92 beatbits.

Really awesome!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Wow, didn’t realise there were so many. Hope I’ll be able to go to stores and feel the packets soon- it’s annoying just ordering random ones/ paying more for an open pack. -

I would’ve like the whole modular to be the doughnut shop- it’s so pretty. It is the best Lego police station I’ve seen, but no buy for me because I’m not really into police stations. However, I like the little play features like the jail and the board.

Curl cakes are awesome- are those Pom Poms to keep inside them and- wristbands? Reminds me of play-doh cupcake sets

Botanical Collection - Rumours and Discussion
Legochaek replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love the flowers, day 1 buy! The bonsai is ok. Other sites say £90 for Bonsai and 60 for the flowers- how do we know it’s £44.99? https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-botanical-collection-10280-flower-bouquet-revealed/ Also, this seems like it’s an offshoot of Lego Forma.- 137 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Personally I’d love a light purple modular building. Does anyone know what brick height the floors of modulars generally are?
