I liked Chima, probably because I loved Fabuland as a child and it's kind of close to that theme with the anthro animals. I bought a lot of the sets, mainly for the Minifigs. While a lot of episodes of the series were uninteresting, I liked the bigger story arcs and the fact it had a progressing story line with an actual conclusion which was sadly lacking in Nexo Knights. It was cool that it had a crossover with Ninjago too.

I've been watching The New Legends Of Monkey on Netflix. It's pretty obvious who Sandy, Pigsy etc, are. But does anyone know if a character in Monkie Kid is supposed to represent Tripitaka? Is it Tang?

That would make sense. However, the story I'm going for would be that the unicorns appear as normal horses in the real world, but take on their true unicorn form when they go to their magical homeland. So I need the horses to have removable horns but still look ok as horses. Maybe I'll just have to get duplicates of each horse and have a unicorn and normal version of each

I really want sets based on Jurassic World; Camp Cretaceous. Does anyone know if Lego would need a new license to produce those? There's already a mold for a baby Ankylosaurus to represent Bumpy. Mostly I want the 8 main human characters as minifigures, (the teens and their camp counsellors)

I am in no way a [MOC] maker (see my previous attempt ) But I've tried again, to make a building with a small footprint, but that has different shops in it. There's a Jeweller's Shop, a Costume Shop, a Liquor Store and a Toy Store.. They're small, but there's access to each via stairs with room for shop stock. I actually made it months ago but not shared it here because it's bad. It's just been gathering dust. But I decided if I didn't share it, I couldn't receive constructive criticism on how to improve in future. As in Enid Blyton's Famous Five? Surely they'd be easy to recreate just by mixing minifigure parts?

It bothers me that Lego have never made minidoll sized unicorns. The Lego Friends/Elves horses have holes in their foreheads, it would be so easy for Lego to make horns for them.. But they haven't done it. Decided to try for myself by modifying these; https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=89522&name=Horn (Unicorn)&category=[Animal, Body Part]#T=C I was going to trim a needle or nail down to create a link between the horse's head and the horn piece, but couldn't get anything in the exact size. So I trimmed the stopper off the horn and superglued it to a piece that would make it look like the unicorn was wearing a ribbon around it's horn. Just not sure if I'm pleased with the result. Warner Bros characters are no stranger to Lego since Warner Bros got the licence for Batman. Though I'd rather see other Warner Bros characters such as Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toons etc... Looney Tunes were kinda before my time, whereas Animaniacs/Road Rovers/Freakazoid/Tiny Toons have the nostalgia for me. But maybe the Looney Tunes will pave the way for more Warner Bros stuff

I'm glad the Halloween special kind of felt like a sort of conclusion to the story, but still suggested the ghost hunters have more adventures in their future. Bought the latest Hidden Side magazine yesterday. It came with the haunted mechanic and haunted Subway engineer again. There was nothing in the back pages saying when the next issue is out, so I assume it's the final one.

I have so many police officers, police cars and police dogs from Lego City, so I'm glad vehicles, extra minifigs and dogs aren't included in the set since it would have been a way to justify it being more expensive. Is the torso on the newspaper selling donut thief the same as one of Jack's two torso's from The Lego Hidden Side theme? Maybe Jack grew up with too much of a sweet tooth? I'll probably display this next to my modular Detective's Office since the kitchen in that set is likely the supplier for the Donut Shop in the Police modular.

Just watched the Night of the Harbinger Hidden Side Halloween Special.

The sets have so much potential, but, 8 episodes in to watching the show,... It just feels far too silly and zany to even be popular with children. Also, it bugs me that Red Son isn't part bull

I assume the Ninjago is ending thing is fake considering it's arguably Lego's most popular theme

Just built Sandy's Speedboat and Monkie Kid's Delivery Bike today. I'm actually impressed with the size of the speedboat and the Spider Queen minifigure is awesome! Can't wait to see her in the show if it ever gets a UK release
