@Courbet very nice work on the container transporter! I'm looking forward to the building instruction. Not to build it myself but see how it works and determine if a fully mechanical version is possible as I want all my modules fully mechanical. Probably not possible as Akiyuki is a mechanical genius himself so there is most likely a reason why an EV3 was used.

Modular city park with sakura tree, flower shop, coffee shop, fountain and lots of green to enjoy. The park is the inner part of the Botanical Garden which I will publish later (after three weeks still waiting for TLG Bricks & Pieces). So if you want a Modular glass building with this park inside, it's better to wait for that (picture is in the building instruction). Free building instruction and parts list on Rebrickable:https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-26379/Berthil/botanical-park/The building instruction is free of charge. Please support my Leicester LEGO Store on LEGO Ideas:https://ideas.lego.com/projects/e015f9c8-3faf-4308-b8ed-b5e09c6ebcef If you want it as indoor garden, please have a look at the Botanical Garden:

GBC General Discussion
Berthil replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@AGarcia Nice work! The balls hesitate somewhat to enter the stepper. I suggest you check if you did not forget one 1x2 plate under the end of the inbox floor just before the first stepper to make the floor one plate higher. It's an easy fix.- 1,124 replies

I'm using the rechargeable 8878 which has 7,4 V output voltage instead of the 9V of the 6 normal batteries. Also with lower voltage everything runs very good as can be seen in the video's. With Akiyuki gearing in the lift the train runs 30 min. longer to a total of 3,5 hours on one charge. So far I've had two broken M motors in the trains, I guess they don't like the reversing a lot.

[GBC] Turntable Cup to Cup 2.0
Berthil replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That was quick, excellent! :) Thanks for the feedback on the instructions, BI and parts list adjusted on Rebrickable. Good news is it is only using 6 of those expensive cups instead of 11 in the 40t gear version :) -
[GBC] Akiyuki Ball Factory
Berthil replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's only two of those under the gears to indeed reduce friction. Probably there is a double placement in Studio in the exact same spot, sometimes very hard to see. I will check and remove it. Thanks for the feedback! Excellent! You got it to run very smoothly. I also like the ball return very much!- 465 replies

[GBC] Turntable Cup to Cup 2.0
Berthil replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I've made a building instruction of the Cup to Cup and it is available for free: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-26113/Berthil/turntable-cup-to-cup/ -
Looks good! Congratulations, table is just big enough :) Judging by the speed of the lift I guess you did not do the modification with the 24t gear to speed it up? Not that a higher is needed if you run it at home, only if you would participate in events it would not get to the 1 ball per second with current gearing.

[GBC] Ball Catcher
Berthil replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks @9v system for making the digital file and making it available! I've redone your file and made corrections on design, all building steps and building instructions, now available on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/.../Berthil/ball-cather-ball-feed/ @dunes, if you have the Paternoster digital file finished I'm happy to do the same for the Paternoster.- 30 replies

Josh David has made plenty of those desk Miniloop 'GBCs', some can be linke together. So the idea is not new but the instructions are not free. More and more people go this route instead of LEGO Ideas including Akiyuki.

I don't know. I would buy now before Bricklink Lego sellers buy them all and put them for double the money in their shop.

[GBC] Akiyuki Ball Factory
Berthil replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Not that I know of. I've updated Part 1 and part 4 of the BI. Thanks @Courbet for pointing out the changes. In Part 1 step 20 the 4L axles has been replaced by a 5L axle in the drive to the Ball Picker as there was a chance the yellow 3L thin liftarms would touch the 2x3 brick column there. Part 4 in the final building step the mounting of the drive unit has been made easier so if you already have build the BFv3 this change is not for you :)- 465 replies

Clip the ends on the pin until it snaps on and the hose should slowly form itself in the most natural bend. But doesn't work all the time.- 465 replies

I only did the ribbed hoses of the spiral lift and that was already a nightmare. I could not get the long 3mm rigid hoses right, I just added them out of sight for the parts list.- 465 replies

@FernandoQ Excellent! I see you are running it with 20 buckets, the new bucket in the shifter arrives just in time :) The Bucket Emptier has a little twitch just before reaching its highest point but can't see why. What did you improve on the Spiral Lift?- 465 replies
