  1. Thank you, I am hoping to get instructions done for this. I will keep you notified! Kind regards, Ellis.
  2. Looking fantastic, is there an interior?
  3. Sure here is the file for anyone interested! https://www.dropbox.com/s/wwc7v3p2s2yep72/UCS UT-60D Rebel Transport.lxf?dl=0 Please post here if anyone decides to modify the file I would be interested! ;) Kind regards, Ellis.
  4. Fantastic! The greebling on this is amazing, awesome job!
  5. Hello, @legoSWfan! I've not made progress in a very long time, I've been focusing on other models and my website. I think there are already enough U-Wings out there, so I will probably abandon this project! Anyways, I did a few renders for you: Kind regards, Ellis.
  6. Great progress, I like the touch with Jar Jar in handcuffs!
  7. Oooo very nice detailing on the engines, they look fantastic!
  8. Hello, Kris! Awesome thank you! In no way do I take this as an insult, I see it is as stating the obvious, I know I'm no good with technic but I'm here to learn! ;) I will try and purchase some gears and technic pieces hopefully come up with a solution. I was thinking a mini-fig scale AT-TE next, I may just pursue that instead, but I don't want to give up. I appreciate your help once again! Kind regards, Ellis.
  9. Hmm, thanks again, I might postpone this project I’m really struggling with the technic especially to fit it into such small space.
  10. @krisandkris12 @Anio Does this seem like a better solution, it uses different size gears and worm gear transmissions? Kind regards, Ellis.
  11. Hello, nice build and welcome to EB! Personally, I believe the model has too many large wall pieces, but you have probably done this to keep the part count down. Maybe replace a few with the 1x2 "brick bricks" you have used for the steps around the temple and various other details. Also, the ground around the temple is concrete with trees situated around it: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/9/9d/Yavin_4_Temple.png/revision/latest?cb=20121227220518! The interior looks great, although I feel like the hangar could do with a vehicle, like the smallish X-Wing seen in other Yavin IV models. Fantastic job with the minifigures too, they look very professional! Kind regards, Ellis.
  12. Fantastic start, this is pretty huge!
  13. Thanks again for your help, I am well aware of the torque issues now, I will ensure to contact Renegade Clone. I am definitely going to try and use 10212's internals now, I reckon it will be a challenge to fit into the ships thin shape! Kind regards, Ellis.
  14. @krisandkris12 I have started on the inaccuracies: the area around the cockpit is no longer flat and the engines are now circular, but I still think they could be better. I will try to get some more renders done from different angles. @Anio Does this technic solution seem any superior to the last one? Kind regards, Ellis.
  15. I second that!
  16. Fantastic, the U-Wing is great so much better than Lego's in which they feel the need to incorporate stud shooters.
  17. Awesome, thanks to work I go! I don't know what I'd do without you, I need to use reference images more, I build from memory most of the time! Kind regards, Ellis.
  18. @krisandkris12 Do the engines look any better slightly rounder like this? Also where are the other inaccuracies, I'm thinking the wings? Kind regards, Ellis.
  19. Awesome, thanks! I’ve never really understood technic, I’ll take a look at the Imperial shuttle and do my research elsewhere. I will have to be innovative as there is very little space. Kind regards, Ellis.
  20. Technic offroader in 2008 been deprived of bricks since recently with my Venator, definitely need some help with technic.
  21. Wow, the AT-M6 looks like a giant compared to the Lego At-at, I can't wait to see this built with bricks!
  22. @krisandkris12 This is why the engines are a square shape, I will try to fit the mechanism in with rounder solutions. Not sure if you know of any rounder pieces that could fit around these wheels? Also, found a picture of myself with the official Lego V-19 torrent from 9 years ago. Kind regards, Ellis.
  23. Ok, thank you very much! Thanks! The top fin can move, it is synchronized with the other two like in the official Lego model. I love the CW era vehicles! It does implement a mechanism for the wings, not sure if it will work will need to get a technic fanatic to look at it! I will post some pictures of the internals. It will be difficult for me to get the whole of the engines round as they have gears inside for the functioning wings, I’ll see what I can do. I will compare it to the toy later. Kind regards, Ellis.
  24. Hello, all. My Venator is complete, just waiting on the instructions so I decided to begin a new project continuing with the Clone Wars era. This time it is a V-19 Torrent scaled to (10215 UCS Obi Wan's Delta 7) it uses the same cockpit piece and interior. This is an early model and there are still a few things I'm unhappy with mainly: needs some more studs(too much snot) and rounder engines. I took some inspiration from this model: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/355593. Has just over 1000 pieces. Some bricks on the side cannons disappeared in the render. Thanks for viewing, Ellis.
  25. Glad you have started work again, looking very promising!
