  1. Order just that one part 5 times?
  2. I only get to Lego stores once or twice a year so I just throw elbows and shove those little kids out of my way. ? (J/K) In all honesty I used to care but don’t anymore. I’ll never see those people again if they don’t like me. I also am friendly, show the parents pictures of my MOCs and usually show up to the wall about an hour before closing when traffic is down and fewer kids are there, which helps.
  3. It’s around 100 for medium pieces like the limb elements (leaves). 200 for most others. Tiny stuff like 1x1 studs can be mixed even at 200.
  4. @Henjin_Quilones invented the queen in this winning challenge entry I believe, in two forms: She has since been seen in my recent challenge entry and in the prelude to challenge II in the same configuration (different than her introduction), and in HQ's prior post here in a slightly different form. HQ may have some other depictions of her that I have missed, but since it is his creation, I'd defer specific questions to him. The banner, as far as I know, is that of the historica armored unicorn itself, which is shown in a lot of people's creations (the shields in @Etzel's recent challenge IV creation comes to mind), and shown on the walls in the prelude to challenge II link above (third pic). I'm not entirely sure, but I'm going off the idea that the royal colors are dark red and white. I don' think this has been clearly stated, so this is probably a good time to do so, but I would defer to the long-time Historicans on the boards and HQ to figure out how they want to proceed.
  5. Can TLG just hire you to design the upcoming series? I have liked all your series better than the last oh, 10-15 from TLG!
  6. Hey, whatever floats your boat! I typically try to limit myself to buying pieces that I can use in my medieval builds or else I'd be broke. I do sometimes have to splurge on a few fun items from time to time, like the fire chief's cup, but I try to limit these types of purchases, so I don't get the variety of cool parts you do.
  7. The centaur body on the IG pic looks suspiciously like the brickforge one. Maybe it's legit, but I am not going to hold my breath. The Trolls have a light blue centaur body that is more cartoony and I hope they don't use that for HP.
  8. Still rockin'! And I second the vote: TLG should hire you to design a new line of castle creator expert sets. One or two a year for the AFOLs would be just fine with me.
  9. What use is the second part? That's literally just two of the 2x2 jumpers stuck together, right? Or is it a 2x3 plate? I see the user of the latter, but not the former.
  10. Thank you! I had some fun with the forge interior for sure, and I'm glad that the micro-scale is working for folks! Thanks! I'm glad you liked the build. You're right that I could have added some black soot and potentially made it taller. I may have to modify it once it becomes part of the castle wall, so we shall see. As for the ground cover, you're right, chickens were everywhere in the medieval times, so I'm trying to incorporate that in my builds, along with seagulls. The build is supposed to be new, where the ground has been cleared, and in a rocky terrain at the top of a seashore, I suspect there isn't much in the way of bushes, so I left them out. I'm going to keep going on with the story, so hopefully you will be able to enjoy seeing the characters unfold as they grow! Thanks! I actually had to order those corner panels in brown from B&P to finish this, along with the tool rack brown fence and two orders of the 1x2 sand blue tiles, so glad they were noticed!
  11. This is really well done. The 1x2 round plates really steal the show and look like a woven thick rug or some kind of armor. The basket at top is fantastic, too, and it looks great on top of the Lego elephant. The spikes on the tusks look very good, too, and the ground is well done.
  12. Great work, as I have come to expect from you. The entire composition looks good from the irregular base to the high pitched roof and chicken coop. You do a great job incorporating various techniques, like the coop and tree, and I love the pumpkin patch. You do a great job making the dark green contrast with the pumpkins while also making it seem like it's in an area slightly shaded by the house. The overall color choice is excellent. I think you have done a great job in all your builds capturing the colors of the north, and this is no exception. The light greens, dark tan, and the high A frame roof all scream a cold, north climate. Excellent build!
  13. This is a really beautiful build. I've been waiting for someone to get enough of those rounded 1x2 plates together to do a rounded tower, because I wanted to see how it turned out. I think it looks very nice. You did a good job keeping the straight walls consistent in texture, too, a problem usually ignored by many builders using the cylinder and brick method for rounded towers. I love the interiors--not entirely sparse, but not overly lavish, and you did a great job on the detail on things like the chandelier and the use of the roller skates as hinges is great. The old knights lend it a classic feel. I like the dungeon, too! One question, since you posted this in the Guilds of Historica subforum, which is a role playing/building area, did you mean to join one of the guilds? If so, just post in the sticky relevant to the guild, and feel free to introduce yourself in the new member thread. We'd love to have you on board! If you are building a one-off or don't like creating a story to go with your builds, this post will likely be moved by a moderator to the general historic forums, so don't be surprised if it moves. Great work!
  14. They are the half doors to the stables from the Friends line. Wish they came in brown, but I can find uses in dark blue. https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/stephanie-s-horse-jumping-41367
  15. Welcome! Thanks for sharing your pics! I just got an order today from B&P. Mostly stuff people on here have already posted, but there may be a few that have been overlooked.
  16. Thanks! I somehow missed them on your original list. Now I have to place another order...
  17. Do you have the Leichster square torso? It wasn't fully exclusive to BAM, as it was available on B&P for a while, but it was pretty regionally exclusive.
  18. Awesome, thanks! I missed that the first time around!
  19. Where's the light purple/pink hair from?
  20. Ah, some of that was unclear to me from the pictures. I can't really tell that the elf, vampire and witch torsos are unique from the pics. Thanks for clarifying! There's also a pure white skirt at the BAM station from what I have heard. I have not yet seen that myself, however I also only get to Lego stores 1-2x/year on average.
  21. @Broke4Bricks, I think a number of these have been released previously as CMFs. For instance: Green shirt torso from the CMF 11 Holiday elf Pirate torso from the pirate chess set Vampire torso from the Halloween haunt Wacky witch torso from CMF 14 And a few are recolors, like the skirt from Ms. Claus, the spider lady CMF, etc., although as far as I know, those are still exclusive to BAM. Similarly, some of the accessories, like the guitar and the boombox, are slight recolors from other CMFs and sets. Some may actually be from a CMF or set, I'm not sure. As @Aurore pointed out, the white printed skirt is from SW, the spooky boy torso is from the CMF line, etc. There are still exclusives to BAM, but there's quite a few that are excess stock from the CMF line. I missed out on the excess prints of the shakespeare CMF torso. Oh well. Nevertheless, I appreciate you collecting these pieces in one picture. Maybe we can start a list on here, with or without pics, for the BAM exclusive pieces? I think that might be a useful endeavor.
  22. That’s really disappointing except for scalpers. Oh well, one more figure I won’t have.
  23. My order matches the prices I paid. Now awaiting arrival. Also previously got a few CMF pieces off B&P, like the scarecrow torso from TLM2 series. Uncommon, but it does happen from time to time.
  24. Welcome back! Like the others, I'm looking forward to your builds!
  25. I don't know if there's a part number in torsos. If there is, I've never been able to read it. There may be one in the head, but it would be way down at the bottom of the inside of the stud, so it may be hard to read. Thanks anyway!
