Thanks for the compliments and the advice! The tiles on the wall came from the Graveyard Mystery in the Hidden Side theme and unfortunately are stickers. Thank you! Yeah I didn't have quite enough tiles to do the whole floor and wanted a uniform look to it so I went with studs. Definitely need to order more brown tiles for things like this.

Whenever Rienne gets a job, if it's something the Nightwolves haven't encountered before, she consults Merrick to find out what to expect and how to hunt it. Had a small amount of building time and figured this was an important part of the monster hunting business. Here's the build sans minifigures.

There's a new high res picture up of Beskar Mando. He does in fact have the mudhorn signet printed on his right pauldron.

The new Mandalorian set coming out has a nice ballista build with the spring shooter darts in silver (finally). Both look pretty useful.

? That Beskar Mando ? My other Lego passion is Fantasy type stuff so the ballista is a welcome build. The swoop looks great! The big gaps in the tent build drive me a little nuts but with everything else this set gets right I'm not complaining too loudly. Also to the price complaints, last years AAT was also a set with 2 highly sought after figs and only 10 pieces more and it was priced 10 dollars more than this set. This is a step in the right direction. A few steps actually.

Apologies for the late reply. Yes all my black torsos with the grey armor don't have the strongest connection but I actually don't mind it as I think it decreases the risk of torso cracks.

His cloak in the movie was a dark brown.

Finally gotten around to fleshing out my idea after waaay too long. Hope this qualifies as a freebuild.

Bardan Jusik- Avalonia

Rienne, founder and leader of the Nightwolves. Rienne founded the Nightwolves after hunting the vampires responsible for her husband and daughter's deaths. After surviving the attack she sought out knowledge on how to kill what took her family and this search led her to Merrick. She has raised a direwolf named Ashla that she found in Mitgardia on a job. Aurelios- The group's resident healer and mage. A feisty elf whose love of wine always brings forth the question "When do I get paid?". Talus- Formally from Mitgardia, Talus is a very simple soul. He loves nothing better than making the world a better place, one swing of his mace at a time. Nothing makes him happier than combat for a higher purpose. He's often chided and made fun of by Aurelios. Ysova- One of the finest non-elven archers in Avalonia, Ysova learned to shoot very young by necessity. A starving orphan who happened upon a dead soldier and picked up his bow, she learned very quickly that missing a target meant not eating. Serana- A half breed shunned by both Humans and Drow alike. Rienne found her in Nocturnus and remembering the daughter she lost, decided to take her in and train her. She's quiet and not fond of sunlight. Bardan- The most recent member of the Nightwolves and the one with the most in common with Rienne. When he was a boy his parents were slain by what he only remembers as a "Demon Knight". He sought out Rienne hoping to learn how to find and kill whatever killed his family. Merrick- Having spent much of his life with his head in books, Merrick has very little experience or inclination to combat. Forced out of a leading university due to heavy drinking he was nevertheless quite the student of the "darker" mythologies of Historica. When the Nightwolves get a job, it is Merrick who details what they're hunting and how to kill whatever it is. Located in the eastern region of Avalonia this once fortified castle has been abandoned for quite some time. It was given to Rienne as payment for saving the daughter of a local lord. Most of the money earned goes to repairing the castle, now affectionately named The Wolves Den.

The one from Solo: A Star Wars Story. I have to say while I'm not crazy about the TIE, I might have to eat my words on the X-Wing...For the money it looks really good. Also with the Mandalorian set picture being blacked out I think the chances of it being from season 2 just rose considerably. If there's no beskar Mando though I might cry.

I have to say, as much as I try to avoid being negative, this new direction is a serious bummer. I was really appreciating the new techniques and more realistic looking designs of the past few years. Comparing the 2016 Y-Wing for instance, to the 2007 version with 200ish fewer parts and the difference is quite noticable. I wouldn't buy the 2007 version today knowing that Lego is capable of producing far better designs.

Between the coloring and bat symbol of the ghost knights of the last CMF wave and these new villains, I see a faction coming together.

Agreed! Holy moly that 30 dollar set and the skeletal dragon set are AMAZING looking. Just for moc building parts alone...I'm super excited.

The ONLY thing that makes me give a slight bit of credence to this is it reminds me of the new lightsaber hilt for Maul. That pic was definitely on the crappy side too but ended up being real. Not getting my hopes up too much though lol.

What if the 4 unknown clones in the Barc Trooper set are the Bad Batch? Seems a little too coincidental that 4 clones are in a season 7 set and that season 7 features the Bad Batch.

A knight, viking, AND the Medieval Blacksmith. This is looking to be a good year.

I was fairly shocked about this being chosen but I'm very pleased. Definitely hoping for this to be around 200 or less. And definitely hoping (like everyone else) that it includes a goat lol.

Now we just need The Question and we can do the Date Night episode. All these look great, especially Huntress and Batman. I know there are people saying the Keaton Batman isn't part of the CMF series but is that ACTUALLY confirmed? I know it's a long shot but I can hope.

Thanks guys! The idea for the monster hunters is something I've wanted to do for awhile now. Putting the finishing touches on the rest of the Nightwolves now and getting some character details straightened out.
