  1. I heard something about a Mace Windu Starfighter now. It was some other informant now, so the veritableness is disputable.
  2. A pic of the big temple from Imperiumdersteine. I think this isn´t the pic of the whole set, I am still hoping for some crab people like in the description. http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showthread.php?p=445516#post445516
  3. Nobody prevents them from releasing every figure they make in a year via magnetsets. They just get more profit when they release the Clone Tank with Aayla or a Venator with the chancellor.
  4. Isn´t it a little bit too early to fantasize about the 30th ROTJ anniversary in 2013 while posting in the 2011 thread? I am still certainly expecting Rebel Command/Ewok BP and Navy Trooper/Scout Trooper/Officer BP in early 2012 because of the variety rule (one year PT/TCW, one year OT) but that is still beside the point of the thread we are in, now.
  5. This rumor is always up and it sounds realistic and profitable for LEGO. A wonder they never make plans for this. Limited/Exclusive figure-size sets are to be expected, as every year. UCSes come most of the time around summer/autumn. http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showpost.php?p=438645&postcount=323 But I think it was already here.
  6. New Mando BP pic: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/attachment.php?attachmentid=24847&d=1283962921 At least two Mandos have got jetpacks and the one riding the speeder seems to have no printing, other than the foot soldiers. Maybe we get some kind of special Mando/Pre Viszla.
  7. I hope so. The last one was just 15 bucks, I would be disappointed when it would be the same size but 10 bucks more expensive. Yeah, but the clone pack especially sucks. Why do we get two Bomb Squads instead of two of the "commando" clones? I would have liked the idea of having something like a replacement battallion for the regular Whities, instead we build a whole platoon of bombdefusers. That makes no sense, even when there are defuseable bombs on your battlefield it probably isn´t more than the 200 or so they had at Vindis laboratory, that two of those guys could handle easily. If we had two Greenies I would have bought 3 of those packs, 3 ARFs because I don´t need more or less, 3 Defusers because it is a reasonable size and 6 Green Corp troopers as replacement corp when Whities are to bland for my taste. Now I have to buy the ARFs and Greenies from Bricklink or find somebody who has use for the defusers. Really, sometimes it seems like LEGO has something against 501st Legion, 212th Battallion. To sum up with the rest of the sets: Mando pack seems good, I hope they don´t make the jetpacks unnecessarily rare. Every Mando in the show had a jetpack. That we only can see one pack doesn´t make the situation look better. V-Wing looks decent and has interesting figs but in no way outstandig. I probably will save him for another TRU promotion like buy LSW for 30 bucks and you get free chrome [insert name] fig. Battle of Naboo is another good looking vehicle. I hope the design is simple and easily to lenghten, so I can finally store my droid army more interestingly than standing like tin soldiers on a plate. Halo looks like an interesting ship. Somebody mentioned it to look like a dumpster. I like this interpretation, it truly is more what I understand under a space truck than the Falcons design. The Jedi half-saucer shuttle looks like a intersting vehicle and is hopefully easily to store than the Theta and all other spacecraft through this paperlike shape. As an addition we also get 3 new Jedi and a second Obi-Wan and if it sucks as a model, the white and winered plates can be used for MOCs. Just lovely. It could have only been better if they tried the Awesome-class Shuttle.
  8. Sadly I have to admit, the Clone Trooper Commando is just a green marked normal trooper, probably LEGO wanted to pepper up the name instead of calling him 1337th Company Clone or whatever he is part of. Also, we do get four figs (woooooohoooo) with two Bomb Squads for the clones and a fourth Mando, sadly no sign of Pre Viszla. And to finally confirm everything: Pictures! http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showthread.php?t=20804 (Scroll down and click on the small images to enlarge)
  9. He spoke about nothing other than the figs. He is a person and knows a retailer that has seen the pictures. Don´t forget that the first batch of news also was from him. He got the very first list through a phonecall from the vendor and a more detailed figure list seems to indicate that he got pics already. In his post he said more info comes when he is back from his vacation (around 25th) and pics follow later. I trust him, as he was reliable before and I wouldn´t give this infos when I had doubts about the trueness.
  10. Omot / Tomo got the first prelim Toy Story wave 1 set pics and also the first version of the SW sets this year. I guess he is trustworthy enough. The Jedi shuttle seems possible for me, when one takes the Palpatines office theory. LEGO released the fans choice polls other participants (Calamari Cruiser and Slave One) the last two years. Now we even have 3 of the four Jedi required for the set and Agen Kolar could easily be made as normal fig with Snape hair. LEGO possibly parts the cost for Seasees new mold on the two sets Shuttle and Office, like they did with Cad Banes hat and neck piece with Banes Speeder and Clone Turbo Tank. But I am only some guy sitting in a chair and theorizing. Putting so many exclusive figs in a set is unusual, but taking a fig into multiple sets is something that LEGO would do.
  11. Again from Omot: 7930 Bounnty Hunter Assault Gunship VK 49,99 Aurra Sing - Embo - Sugil - Assassin Droid 7929 The Battel of Naboo VK 29,99 Jar Jar Binks - Gungan Soldier - Droid Pilot - Battle Droid 7915 Imperial V-Wing Starfighter VK 26,99 R2-Q2 - Imperial Pilot 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack VK 14,99 ARF Tropper - Clone Trooper Commando - Bomb Squad Trooper 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack VK 14,99 3 x blue Mandalorians 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle VK 69,99 Obi Wan Kenobi - Shaak Ti - Quinlan Vos - Saesee Tinn
  12. There once was some supposed set designer who talked about that. But he also said there won´t be any Padmé figs, because she got pregnant, which apparently includes figs of her clearly not being pregnant like in the CW show. So, yeah...
  13. There are some serious mistakes but first I say something to my theory: Summer 08 wave only had sets based on the movie (V-19, Magna starfighter, AT-TE, Twilight) or completely bashed together from the movies and videogames (IFT-X tank, Droid HMP, Homming Spiderwalker with Commander Fox). Spring 09 saw some more unconnected sets with random figure choices (Nu-Shuttle and Mace Windu, Battlepacks) but it was mainly based on season one (AAT and Yoda, Ahsokas JSF from Ryloth, Hyena Bomber from Ryloth episodes, Dookus Solar Sailor) Summer 09 stayed with season one (Gunray shuttle from Jar Jar episode, Y-Wing, Pirate Tank), went back to the movie (Snail tank and Jettroopers) and mixed some sets and figs nonsensical (Venator with Palpatine and Senate Commandos). Spring 10 had only one set based on the show (Freeco Speeder, season one) and the other presumably CW sets are more of Revenge of teh Sith sets as to the show (Swamp Speeder with Life-Action design figs, Tri Fighter was never in season 1 or 2, ARC-170 has Life-Action style figs and the appearance in Zillo Beast seems like a coincedence). This summer brought us again season 1 (Grievous starfighter, Cad Bane Speeder) and season 2 (Juggernaut, Plo Koons JSF). It seems like our first 2011 wave only includes CW themed sets from season 2 (Mando BP, Bounty Hunter gunship, T6 Shuttle), so I guess that we maybe get exclusive TRU/Walmart sets based on season 3 with Shaak Ti or we first get season 3 themed sets next summer.
  14. I guess the imperial V-Wing is based around the grey V-Wings from the Dark Times comic series / ending of ROTS. The empire colored the republic red V-Wings just completely grey and reused them until the first TIE fighters were developed. The set could include something from the comic like the Jedi Dass Jennir and a ROTS Clone Pilot with closed helmet (like from Palpatines Shuttle this year) or they go the easy way and the fighter is based around the two that flew on the screen in the last scene of ROTS with the full-grey Venator cruisers and Vader and Palpatine overseeing the construction of the Death Star. TCW is surely going on longer than just 3 seasons with 66 episodes. Lucas himself stated that he wants to do around 100 episodes, wether CN airs them or not. If not he just publishes DVD boxes or sells it to another channel. The show goes on until 2013 minimum. Merchandise will probably last longer. Anyone remember 2006/07? LEGO went through supply bottlenecks for SW sets. Directly the year after ROTS, when anyone thought SW would be dead without a new movie. And I made the point that if the sets are based around TPM things like Jar Jar Binks, Padmé Amidala and additional battle droids, Naboo guards would also be something for TCW-only kids, as all of this was in the episode "Blue-Shadow virus". If it is based directly around the Virus episode (also it is unlikely from the name BATTLE when it only was poisoning of the water supply) it obviously includes something TCW-ish for them. It is a win-win situation.
  15. The V-Wing is probably part of the OT and/or Expanded Universe line, which LEGO maintains from time to time (Rogue Shadow, TIE Crawler). They maybe base it around the ROTS Empire and we get one of the closed helmets ROTS Clone pilots like from Palpatines Shuttle this year (which by the way isn´t that usefull for TCW either). Battle of Naboo could be, depending on which part of the battle in TPM it is based, also interesting for TCW children, as it probably is the only set containing Jar Jar Binks (Gras field battle) or Padmé (City battle) and probably includes some battledroids, which also seem to be rare at this times. It is a good idea to maybe turn this set in some kind of secondary Battlepack or double-Battlepack for the kids that came to late and first joined when TCW began to air, because LEGO pulled the old Battledroid packs just around the summer of 08, when TCW started to air. If they do something like tan city walls, Flash Speeder, Naboo Guard, Padme and a bunch of droids or Kaadus, boomer wagon, Jar Jar, random Gungan warrior and a bunch of droids and maybe a Droideka I see kids buying that, too. There seems to be a two year cycle with PT/TCW and OT Battlepacks. 07 = Phase 2 Clones / Battledroids 08 = Stormies / Tantive rebels 09 = Phase 1 Clones / IG-86s 10 = Hoth Rebels / Snowtrooper 11 = Phase 1 Clones / Death Watch 12 = Scouttrooper, Navys, officers / Endor rebels, Ewoks Your theory is based on the broken one that the TESB packs were out for TESB anniversary but the ANH packs were a year too late for ANH anniversary.
  16. The only german word of the last set could be fett (english = fat) but I guess KimT is right with the Jedi Shuttle guess. Imperial V-Wing could be a good way to stock up on grey starfighter plates and parts and maybe get some black TIE Pilots in a cheaper set. It probably is based on the completely grey V-Wings from the very last scene in ROTS where they flew alongside complete grey Venator-class destroyers. Battle of Naboo could be interesting with probably new molds for Gungans and Kaadus. Ooooh, it could also be some kind of battlepack for the Naboo security forces within Theeds palace. Finally some nice playset/background again. At worst it probably is another Naboo fighter v.s. Vulture droid... The battlepacks bug me, really, why cut on the minfig count from 4 to 3? It´s not like they aren´t allowed to put only 7 real bricks and one or more figs together and call that a set (I look at you, Manta warrior impulse set!).
  17. Okay, KimT, I guess here is some information. A user from the german LSW forum Imperiumdersteine got some news of 2011 sets. It probably isn´t fake, I know him myself, he wouldn´t need something like fake setlists. 7913 Clone Battle Pack 14,99 EUR 7914 Mandorine (?) Battle Pack 14,99 EUR 7915 V-Starfighter (?) 26,99 EUR 7929 Battle of Naboo 29,99 EUR 7930 Bounty Hunter 49,99 EUR 7931 Fet Shy (oder Fett Shy) (?) 69,99 EUR He said himself he had trouble making out the setnames because he got them through phone, but I guess they are Mandalorian and Clone trooper BPs, remake of the V-Wing from ROTS, Naboo Battlepack from Phantom Menace and something regarding the bounty hunters arc of The Clone Wars show.
  18. Series 1 and 2 were revealed the same way as other summer sets, so I guess Series 3 will be shown/announced around the same time as other sets are. That would be around September/October and January/February.
  19. Weren´t there 80.000 Vaders and it´s 20.000 Bobas (10.000 for North America, another 10.000 for the rest of the world)? At least fbtb.net says so. Also, LEGO wanted to make the Bobas ONLY available to Afols (according to Fbtbt) and give them away at cons and other fests. Inserting them in random boxes would be the exact opposite of their plan. Edit: It all makes sense now. According to Copmike he got his white Boba during a promo in a swedish toystorechain where everybody who bought a Slave One got a white Boba. The kid is from Sweden according to his profile. He either bought the Slave at this promo and a Plo Koon fighter and wants to prank us, or he simply got it because of a friendly seller and pranks us.
  20. Figures look awesome as predicted. Especially like the little micro-fig of the Karate Master. I call dibs on a LEGO chess set with these as pawns. This dutch/german shopsite says as their shipment day for the figs 20th August. Seems to be mid/end August instead of September.
  21. Instead of describing how awful the JSF is, I would like to ask, why do we even get a JSF as UCS? It seems they would think we got fed up enough with regular JSFs with the seemingly yearly Delta-7B Re-Pack with different coloursceme. Additionally this year was TESBs birthday. What better releasedate for an UCS AT-AT with 5000 bricks than now? At least the JSF shows that LEGO didn´t mutate the UCS name to a senseless under-category for releasing two additional 150bucks+ sets that could have been also released within the system line.
  22. That´s from where we have the idea, because Slave One and Calamari Cruiser got released, it seems to be Palpatines turn. Especially when you consider that Palpis Arrest had significantly more votes than Slave One. But again to Comic-Con: If I recall correctly, there were never sets that got shown off the first time at Comic-Con. Normally there would be some Give-Away/contest like with the metal 3POs and first 10 UCS Falcons or just a bunch of exclusive sets like Mini LAAT/C and AT-TE or the three figures display cases. That would be really surprising.
  23. I probably reprise other suggestions, but whatever. President/Prime minister Ref. pic Occupation/print on torso: shirt with tie and open blazer Type of headgear: Mutt Williams hair in normal brown without curls Type of facial expression: whatever Color on torso/legs: black, yellow hands Accessory: flag of Legoland, shoe Cab Calloway / 30s Zoot-Suit guy Ref. pic (2000x3000 pixels) Ref. pic Occupation/print on torso: closed zoot-suit Type of headgear: Fedora-like hat with hole for white feather (from Robin Hood) Type of facial expression: smile/happy Color on torso/legs: black Accessory: cane Addition: The figure could also have a coat made of the same material as the Star Wars capes, then it would be Occupation/print on torso: shirt Type of headgear: Fedora-like hat with hole for white feather (from Robin Hood) Type of facial expression: smile/happy Color on torso/legs: white torso, black legs Accessory: Zoot-suit (with belt) Super Nerd Ref. pic Occupation/print on torso: shirt with pockets or shirt with waistcoat Type of headgear: medium long hair with parting (or like on the pic above) in black Type of facial expression: Pic and on the backside like above Color on torso/legs: white or green torso, dark tan pants Accessory: handheld videogame console or a smaller book than the ones from Harry Potter Doctor Horrible Ref. pic Occupation/print on torso: Shirt with tie, open labcoat above pic Type of headgear: Dooku hair in white Type of facial expression: huge smile showing teeth, pair of glasses above the eyes, where TCW Dooku fig has its eyes. Color on torso/legs: white torso, legs have complicated printing. Hips are darktan in front and white on the sides and in the back. Legs are dark tan with white printings on the back, sides and possibly a few milimeters in the front. Printings should only go above the first hole which the figures use to sit. Accessory: test-tube(s) and his PhD in Horribleness Sailor Ref. pic Occupation/print on torso: red bow Type of headgear: Sailor hat Type of facial expression: whatever Color on torso/legs: all white, arms are yellow Accessory: none, but new arm showing the figure salute
  24. If it was there for months, why does nobody remember it? KimT or some other Ambassador sneakily updated the first post with new descriptions. The news make me hungry for Bane Speeder pics. I can´t imagine this set costing 50 bucks. It is a Coruscant taxi. I could have imagined the set as 15€ counterpart for Twin-Pod cloud car. It really has to be oversized, and oversized means explooo-oooit.
  25. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3529...id=202559486798 Shows one black Elite IG-86. No. I am pleased with the figur selection of the set. Cad Bane as an Alternative from CTT, the awesome Weequay bountyhunter, two Senate guards (one of them even has another rank). Only downside is that a purple IG-86 would have suited the episode better than cheap black. But Aurra Sing should have been on the list at any time. She plays a role worthy to remember in both season finales, by now.
