LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The "new" R2 is included in the 6212 X-Wing fighter and this one still includes the old design from 1999 - 2007. As long as they don´t want to do a third rerelease of the X-Wing, they will include old R2 in this set until the end of time. -

Only one AT-AT Driver He has a new vest printing, Bespin-style. I am lucky with the new AT-AT design, mostly because it isn´t new. The shape is exactly like 4483, only with a few minor changes like thiner plates and other parts. I guess I buy this as the third one for my collection and just mod them all so that they look exactly the same. I am only frightened because of the price. I really hope they can fit it in the same class as Prince of Persias Battle of Alamut. Otherwise, I really don´t see a point to buy this instead of a thrid 4483 for around 80/90. -
It seems that the Prince of Persia line will not be sold in Germany, or at least not over regular toy shops. Various shopowners on www.imperiumdersteine.de wanted to order the sets, but weren´t be able to do so. It is still possible that the line expands to a TRU or Galeria Kaufhof exclusive like many Star Wars sets, or even S@H exclusives like they do in the UK with Space Police. http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showpost.p...p;postcount=130 http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showthread.php?t=17512

I am a little suspisious about this news, but german shop-site Spielwarenoase.com has the Kingdoms sets listed, alongside some other stuff, that sounds more like it would be S@H exclusive. LEGO KINGDOMS FH Knights Battle Pack 11,20€ LEGO KINGDOMS FH Dragon Battle Pack 11,20€ LEGO KINGDOMS FH Angriffswagen (Attackwagon) 1,70€ LEGO KINGDOMS FH Fensterdeko Paket (windowdecoration box) 70,70€ LEGO KINGDOMS FH Mittelalterlicher Markt (medieval market) 85,50€ While the first two sound like one of this 5 figure Magnetset-esque Battlepacks like they did with Orcs and dwarves, the Attackwagon could be one of the promotional sets that leaked a few days ago, but the price seems a bit low. Windowdecoration box will probably something like Exo-Force childrens birthday party kit but medieval market should probably be a wide-release of 10193, but marketing it as a Kingdoms set seems to me impossible with the blue crown knights. A little bit confusing without any product-numbers. P.S. Prices in this shop are generally cheaper than the normal prices, so I guess everythingw will be a bit more expensive. http://www.spielwarenoase.com/advanced_sea...ego&page=17

28th March only shows the catalogue that has a PoP cover, it doesn´t necessarily mean that we get all sets from the catalogue the same day. 8091 Star Wars Swamp Speeder was in the January catalogue and got released in February. When Nazis will ride again on their dinosaurs.

My friend Nine-Eleven was in the Berlin LEGO Store and saw a new Magnet set including following figures: Palpatine (TCW, from 8039 Venator cruiser) Nute Gunray Onaconda Farr (both from 8036 Seperatist Shuttle) He had no money to buy it, nor a camera, but he is a reliable source. -
I only know that it is an exclusive set to an uncertain store. The german store catalogue has no mention of it and the dutch webshop www.superspielwaren.de already has summer sets, but no 3222. But it is already available at S@H for 30€.

World Racers Summer 2010
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
New box pic of the swamp race set. Swamp Race It seems a little recycled to me. The idea was interesting, but the execution is, like sok said, MEH. The theme is supposed to retail in June, at least in Germany. -
New set pics. Black knights castle Kingdoms Advent Calendar Looks like Merlin is returning. And Dastan hair for the knight. I am not to amused by the cancelation of Fantasy Castle but this theme seems to finally make sense being red in comparison to Atlantis. I hope there is also a new templar helmet in the calendar. LEGO Assassins Creed comes to my mind. The impulse sets release in june, the calendar in october, the rest in september.

A few new box pics. 3221 LEGO Truck City advent calendar The truck just looks ridiculous with the 2x2 Fire brigade HQs. That one has to be in my collection.^^ Additional the timetable of releases: June: LEGO Truck and farmer impulse September: trains October: Calendar and a second release of 10199 Winter toy shop for normal toy stores.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CaptainR...8095_prelim.jpg Still looks similar? German toy storechain "Vedes" started giving away the set 30005 Imperial Speeder to every purchase of LEGO Star Wars products of at least 20€. Some of the stores even sell the speeder for 2,99€ (same price as City/Castle impulse sets), but this is seen rarely since the speeder is meant as a give-away. -

The "Quest for R2" Grievous is the same old figure from 7656 and 7255, just with printings at his knees, elbows and eyes. From what I see the new Grievous will be a completely new figure with all-new parts. -

I guess they wanted to sell a few extra-BPs. Also, the same thing happened with Vaders TIE and the Rebel/Stormie BPs last year. I guess it will be available in a few more countries, like the Vader TIE & Rebel/Stormie BP Bundle, but for now it´s only in Germany. Vader TIE & Rebel/Stormie BP Bundle wasn´t announced before the retail start, too. -

The Fight for the Dagger (37) and Ostrich Race (20) include this torso. I am very unpleased with the Assassin BP. A third Assassin and an army of Adonises is much better than a fourthousandth western horse and a darktan bush. At least we get the Adonis torso in a cheaper set than Flying Wing.

Pic? It could be. If they are doing a landing platform with the shuttle they could possibly design it to fit with the AT-AT walker from this summer. Coupled with a shuttle this sounds like the best playset ever. I can only hope that they will reveal 10212 at the Toy Fair in a few weeks. And I hope for a redo of the shuttle and not like Imperial Inspection with the exact same design. -

New mold for torso, new mold for head, the end. They already seem to do a 21-B Medical droid in Palpatines shuttle with new head and torso. It shouldn´t be that difficult to do the same for Tactical droid. Plus he is more famous and important to the show as being a reappearing villain in the show. It´s like not doing Grievous or Bane figures, where LEGO finally catched on. -
New pic of 3222 Helicopter and Limousine: It really screams Bond-villian right into my ear. Found it on an australian site (forgot where exactly) but the listed price was 49,99$. Should be around 30 to 40 in Europe. Sounds reasonably. I´m really looking forward to buy this set.

I can already picture the box with the Coruscant taxi coming from the left and in the down right corner one or two senate commandos staring at the vehicle. Commando Droids would be really great. Maybe two of them, Cad Bane, an IG-86 and the Weequay. With this figures the set will probably be finally an exclusive set that´s probably worth it. @ the prices: This italian shopping site features the summer wave and it -

Last year had the US first, but I don´t give a block about it because I definately buy my stuff first when Amazon has it with lower price. As theme-change: What did they smoke to change the color of the Hoth troopers into tan/darktan? Hoth troopers were always white in the movies. Tops a white which looks like a Tauntaun slept on it. Well, maybe I can make the best out of it and at least give them all grey arms and grey legs. -
