  1. I would surf around bricklink, see for example LEGO-Train-12-Volts' excellent 12v gallery: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=460457 To do a Google search specifically on bricklink, try: http://tinyurl.com/cp3fw7h You can even specify the size (in this case medium): http://tinyurl.com/cjrs3nv There are also excellent pictures in here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=28356 Please remember to ask for permission if you want to use any pictures for commercial purposes.
  2. Nice and compact - it thinks it is the smallest I have ever seen
  3. Love this huge collection - especially your 7777 loc and two extra flat freight cars. It motivates me to put up my own 12v stuff again whenever I can find the time and place... Do you ever put up a layout? Do you by any chance have some pictures? Couldn't find them on your flickr...
  4. Beautiful model from the loc-expert himself!
  5. Wonderful and distinct design! Love it!
  6. oooh noooo - now I will never forgive myself for not going to Lego World this year... this is mindblowing - absolutely lovely how you flawlessly combined multiple disciplines in this fantastic model!
  7. Beautiful! Thx for sharing
  8. I bought some of ebay once. Try to search for lego 7755. The ones made by apvos are quite good (though expensive if you think about the little amount of material used).
  9. Very good! I love the vintage look!
  10. Actually some have experimented with that: http://chrismeyer.org/projects/lego-train-track/ Personally, although I have no experience with this, I think the risk of fire is minimal.
  11. amazing and brilliant piston movement!
  12. Beautiful! I love them
  13. Wonderful - and thanks for sharing before and after pics!
  14. Congrats on this beast. The bulky tender is not my aesthetic favourite, but I am speechless - you are a true pro: selection, preparation, measuring, colour studies, prototyping, implementing, improving, documenting, some history, ... You master all aspects!
  15. Hi Henrik, Can this attempt be seen? Maybe you need some assistance? Rgrds, Harald
  16. In one word: adorable, absolutely adorable!
  17. Try to copy the video URL into this proxy http://www.youtube-proxy.biz/
  18. Sorry for bumping an old thread, but... Has anyone succeeded in modifying the flanges to fit the 12v tracks?
  19. First of all thanks for the review. I can second that: this set with its strange shape and colour looks more like a space thing. The same goes for 4565 and 4560.
  20. Absolutely lovely! The round curves are truly amazing and you have captured the atmosphere perfectly.
  21. Impressive and very adequate choice of train model. I was expecting a lift off!
  22. Interesting comparison. How far with what carriage load would your 2 examples run on the respective full tank loads? In the long run, you want to compare costs per operated kilometre.
  23. Congratulations on your achievement! Where did you find all the required white sleepers?
  24. Well... Some dogs will chase the trains. But cats? I do not know how they will behave. ?
