  1. This news just made my day! I can't believe it's finally happening, I'd rather it be based on MCU but I don't care tbh, I'd buy any Marvel CMF. The fact that there's only 12 makes me really nervous, I hope they choose right characters and variants.
  2. Yeah, those are regular system scale sets.
  3. It's great news that we're getting sets this year, as it could have easily been the first year since 2018 without any sets. I hope we'll get some bases on OG Jurassic movies.
  4. There are 3 CMFs in one year (one Lego's original and 2 licensed) - the licensed ones this year are Looney Tunes and Marvel.
  5. Oh my, that year would definitely be the best Lego Jurassic year ever. Now I wonder if all the sets were based on Dominion - if not, we may see some sets this year after all.
  6. I have to disagree about the hairpiece, looking at promotional images and set photos his hair looks much more blonde-ish than dark brown.
  7. Oh man, I think it's finally happening. An underwater Ninjago wave, with Nya probably being the main ninja of the season. I don't know how long we've waited for that As for Hydro Bounty, if it's a submarine, I'm okay with it. I think a submarine could be distinctive enough from previous Bounties. If it's not the... yawn.
  8. I don't know if it's because we didn't get any good Marvel sets since April 2019 or not, buttons is definitely one of my favourite Marvel waves of all time, if not my favourite. Every set is literally perfect, and I love the consistency. All of them include brickbuilt Deviants, with two of them including 2 builds for Eternals'. Minifgures are only Eteranks and it's perfect how consistent they also are (not getting Black Knight is a bummer tho). I love all of the Deviants, every single one of them. They are all very unique, my favourite one being the one from 20€ set. It's awesome to see that Kro (the leader) has a new mould for his head. Arishem is literal perfection. The set with him might be one of my favourite Marvel sets of all time. It also has the best minifgures (it literally has all the Eternals I'm most excited to see). Eternals' ship is also incredible. We've never got anything like this in Lego. To sum up, these are perfect. I don't have a single nitpick except for Black Knight missing. I love the fact that every set has an exclusive (or exclusive) Eternal (or Eternals). I'll buy either Arishem set or two smaller sets, probably the latter tho.
  9. This set is stunning. The build is absolutely beautiful, it has a lot of fantastic details. As for the minfigures, I love the selection. Like honestly, what more do we need? It's great to get all those new variants.
  10. They probably will be just some random villains Spidey has to fight in multiverse - at least I hope so. I think it's too soon to make a Spider-Verse movie. I hope that Spider-Man 3 will introduce us to that concept with a lot of cameos, and then Sony makes a full Spider-Verse movie. They made 3 sets for a regular Spider-Man movie (FFH) - it's pretty safe to assume that Spider-Man 3 will have AT LEAST 3 sets.
  11. If Lego doesn't make Disney+ sets... let's just hope they will.
  12. Firstly, where did I say anything about Kraven? Secondly, no one confirmed that Electro will have a prominent role. Thirdly, do you really think that Marvel would make an actual live-action Spider-Verse movie and make Electro the main villain? Really?
  13. Electro is not the main villain tho.
  14. So you're saying that right now all confirmed / rumoured superheroes and supervillains in this movie are: Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield), Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire), Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx)?! Hell, this wave's builds could consist entirely of mechs and I'd still buy every single set if minifigs are done right. This movie has potential to make the best Lego Marvel wave yet.
  15. Those sets are gorgeous, I love them. Lloyd's Bike: For another oversized motorcycle the build is pretty okay. I like detachable aircraft for Nya. Minfigure selection is great, I love that Nya once again comes in a cheap set. Jungle Dragon: Build looks really good, I love the colour scheme, it's also nice to have a sidebuild for Zane. I also like that it has an exclusive minifigure. Keepers' Village: Definitely my favourite set. I absolutely love the build and how it's divided into right jungle section with pirates vibes, and the left evil cave lair section with all those cool details. It also has the best minifgure selection, as all ninjas have bandanas there (they look great together). Catamaran Battle: I actually love those builds and their colour schemes, especially Keepers' one. The set feels really unique. Minfigures are also great. So overall, this wave has incredible minfigures (I like Island Jay the most out of all the ninjas) and great builds. Also, according to the catalogue Legacy sets are coming in February... That would explain why the sets aren't up on Shop@Home and don't have official pictures.
  16. With upcoming movie franchises or their continuations like Suicide Squad, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Shazam or Black Adam, DC will gain more popularity really fast (I mean DC itself is popular, but DC movies are not as popular to general audience as MCU movies).
  17. Yeah, the dragon looks great, although I have 2 complaints - too many grey pieces, and I don't like the "giant blade piece" wing technique. As for the minifgures, I don't think this set requires any more of them. Sure, a Golden Legacy figure would be cool, but I'm pretty sure this set is a retailer exclusive.
  18. Well those sets are definitely something. Han Solo's microfighter is a bit disappointing. The build is exactly what I expected, but Han Solo in there is so... common. Was hoping for brown jacket variant. As for X-Wing and TIE Fighter, they look awesome. I love the builds (especially the X-Wing), the minifgures are also great. What makes these sets amazing are the prices tho.
  19. I'll have to see HD pictures to fully judge Overlord's dragon, but from what I can say the head looks great, while the wings... not so much. Also, only 2 minifigures is a bit disappointing. I wonder if Golden Nya and Zane will come in summer sets... I mean, they have to, right?
  20. No, not really. That minifigure is not Skales Jr., because: a) he had short legs, b) he wore clothes and c) he wasn't a villain. It might be a redesign of Rattla, I can't think of any other character tbh.
  21. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be Rattla (or another lower class serpentine) from Hypnobrai Tribe, I was also confused at first tho.
  22. Those sets look absolutely fantastic, I love all of them. $10 battle sets are great, the builds are really cool and minifgures are so unique, especially the ninja suits which look really weird (I like them tho). I also love new weapon pieces. Legacy sets are all fantastic. I love both the builds and minfigures. As for the golden ninja suits, they look fantastic, but I wonder why there are only 4 of them? I hope we'll get Nya and Zane in a summer wave. The Jungle Island (which also leaked, but only the box art) also looks amazing, I'll have to get a closer look tho. Search for "Ninjago" on YouTube and sort by upload date. There are at least two videos, and one of them has all the pictures in great quality.
  23. Oh my, this set is absolutely fantastic. I love the builds, they seem really unique and like something that hasn't been done in Lego (not in that style at least). Beskar Mando tho... might be one of my favourite minifigures of all time. He looks absolutely incredible, like come on, he even got arm printing.
  24. Thsi wave is awful in terms of builds, pretty good in terms of sidebuilds and great in terms of minifgures. I love Cap's and Miles' mechs (as much as one can love a Marvel mech), Thor's is... fine, I guess (except that joke of a cape). Robbie's car is pretty good, except for those awful stud shooters. Monster truck and lair are terrible. The minifgures are great tho. Spider-Man, Miles, Cap, Mysterio, Doc Ock and Big Time Spidey (but seriously, why is he named "Ultimate Spider-Man" on the box tho) are the standouts. I also love new web colours (translucent and trans-blue). 4+ sets are actually pretty good in terms of builds, they are great as 4+ sets. Minifigures in Spidey one are good, in Avengers one... not as good.
