  1. They won't think about making this for Tye Batman, the reason being - they will lose A LOT of money by pushing Godzilla vs. Kong forward. They would lose money in May, but now it's certain that they'll lose money. The Batman would easily be a 1B movie, so they'll wait until they can achieve it. The Batman is not a type of movie you can put as a hybrid release. Therefore, the sets will come January 1st 2022 at earliest.
  2. I'd say it will be based on Slugorn party from HBP. Just like last year's calendar was based on Yule Ball (a big Hogwarts party that had a set that was a Hogwarts expansion), thus one would definitely reuse a few characters from Astronomy Tower (Harry, Ron, Hermione and maybe Slughorn) and add 2 or 3 exclsuive minifigures (for example Draco or Cormac).
  3. Yeah honestly with 12 minfigures the CMF could be based only on Endgame - for example Iron Man (85, but with dual moulding and printing), Captain America (stealth or scaled), Thor (beard with Mjölnir and Stormbreaker), Black Widow (red / blonde hair), Hawkeye (Ronin), Professor Hulk, War Machine (Iron Patriot), Ant-Man (new helmet and printing), Captain Marvel (short hair), Rocket (new suit), Valkyrie and Thanos. That would be fantastic.
  4. That list is fake - the retailer which leaked all the set numbers fro summer sets (libreriatilos.es) also revealed that Harry Potter Advent Calendar is the 274 piece set 76390 - that list says that 75394 is the Advent Calendar, which proves it's fake. I may even be dropping a Harry Potter rumour video soon ~ MandRproductions. It's true then, we may be getting a detailed Harry Potter 2021 list soon.
  5. I mean it from a business point of view. I think that a series based on MCU would just sell better.
  6. Because MCU is actually more popular than Marvel Comics right now.
  7. I think the only way we could see those characters before MCU debut is comic based Marvel CMF series, which is not that likely to begin with. F4 is most likely a 2023 movie, but we'll have to wait a long time for X-Men unfortunately.
  8. R rated just allows more stuff, which doesn't mean that The Batman needs it. You can show drugs in PG-13. You can have brutal fight scenes in PG-13. You can have language in PG-13. All of them to a certain extent. R rating just expands that extent, which, again, The Batman doesn't need. This discussion is pointless tho, we'll see in some time I guess.
  9. To be honest this is one of the best SW wave in the last few years. To sum up: • 2 The Mandalorian sets • 2 The Clone Wars sets • 2 OT Trilogy sets (one of them being 18+) • 1 The Bad Batch set • 3 UCS sets and 1 Advent Calendar This is as much variety as we'll ever get, and I love it.
  10. News keeps coming A $20 set with Ahsoka and Maul is a must-buy for me. Imperial Troop Transport is also great as it's based on Mando S2, but it kinda sucks that it includes only Greef as a good guy. The Meditation Chamber sounds great tho, finally an 18+ set that is not a bust or a D2C. Slave I is a bug disappointment tho, as it includes only Han and Boba (which is definitely not from Mando).
  11. The whole list sounds really good tho. $20 Mandalore Throne and Vault sounds fantastic. I hope that Imperial Troop Trabsport is from S1 of The Mandalorian, in which case it would be great. A $50 Slave I that almost certainly includes The Mandalorian Boba Fett? Hell yeah. Moff Gideon's cruiser and Mandlorian Fighter means more The Mandalorian set, which always us a win (though I'm unsure if the second one is actually based on that series). Also a Bad Batch Shuttle? That's fantastic, that means that even animated Disney+ series gets a set. Vader's Meditation Chamber sounds interesting, as it's 40 set numbers away from the last known SW set.
  12. Exactly, I mean there were so many characters on that ship. Mandalorian, The Child, Bo-Katan, Koska Reeves, Cara Dune, Fenneck, Luke Skywalker (tho I understand that he's not in the set), Moff Gideon and an army of Dark Troopers. Yet we get like half of those characters and 2 Dark Troopers.
  13. I don't know about that. We've seen Eteranls sets (the movie is coming in November), so I think it's highly possible that we'll learn something about The Batman (coming March 2022) this year - even more, the sets were supposed to release in 1HY.
  14. I think it'd easier if we analyze what R ratting allows you beyond PG-13: 1. Hard language - does a Batman movie really need hard swear words? I don't think so. 2. Sexually oriented nudity - just no, a Batman movie does not need that. 3. Intense or persistent violence - this one may be tempting, but to show who Batman is and how he works we don't need blood spilled everywhere or bones and stuff, do we? If a filmmaker knows how to make a Batman fight scene, R rating won't make it better. He just beats people badly, he doesn't cut off their hands (as for the villains, we all know that's not necessary). 4. Drug abuse - again, no need for that in a Batman movie. Does a Batman movie really need hardcore: sex, drugs, language and violence? The answer is simple - no.
  15. That won't happen. That's just how minfigures look, and it's a matter of creative choice from Lego.
  16. No, definitely not. January 2022 for now (if there are more delays then later).
  17. You can see all of them in HD in 1HY 2021 catalogue. If you mean the official pictures, I guess rather sooner than later.
  18. Yeah, I'll take that as a 99% sure confirmation that these 3 will be The Batman sets. This is gonna be hell of a wave, I love the price range - $15 one is probably gonna be a Batcycle, $30 the Batmobile and $70 either a Batcave or a Batwing (the second one isn't even rumoured to be in the movie tho).
  19. Ah, big thanks for confirming that. I like that we're getting two middle sized affordable sets.
  20. Okay I'm pretty sure now that 76176 ($30) and 76177 ($40) are Shang-Chi sets. Hope you'll be able to confirm that, but that is literally the only logical option as of right now.
  21. After that big Marvel set number drop you just posted, that leaves us with 5 confirmed 2021 Super Heroes (either Marvel or DC) sets - 76176 ($30), 76177 ($40), 76179 ($15), 76181 ($30) and 76183 ($70). If I had to guess I'd say that the last 3 sets are The Batman wave that was going to come out this year.
  22. You mean that 40 set numbers are reserved for The Batman sets? Definitely not. The Batman sets are definitely in the leaked set numbers 7617x - 7619x bunch.
  23. Two sets confirmed, but the set numbers are really weird... You see, none of other 2021 Super Heroes set come to 762xx set number, they are in 7619x territory at their highest. And now it's suddenly 76240? Weird. Feels like these sets might have been rushed (and I mean it) as a way to not disappoint DC fans (The Batman sets were definitely going to be a huge part of this year's DC lineup).
  24. Just a question - is this just speculation or do you know that it's only 12?
