Jurassic World 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Just to be sure - do you mean August 1st for America only (happens sometimes) or August 1st for all countries? -

You got a point here, but it's not that easy... Godzilla vs. Kong is a hybrid release date - that means that the cinema attendance data will be somehow "corrupted". As you know, Disney wants to release all their Marvek movies in theatres, which means that they wont6really know if people are ready to go back to theatres. What I mean is that a lot of people prefer to watch a movie in their home - unless they have no other option. I mean don't we say that every year? "Oh yeah, how great would it be if they were MCU based" or "man, we need more Endgame sets". The way I see it, there are only 3 options: comicbook sets, loose SE based sets and MCU sets. Now I don't see them making an MCU wave 2 years after Endgame's release. The only one that could be based on MCU is that $70 18+ set (helmet probably) and just maybe the $150 set. -

Yet again, nope. Disney+ sets are listed as Disney+ sets - and there's one listed Disney+ set. Yeah that list is great tho. Shang-Chi sets are obviously not 100% sure coming on this date, but so are for example Spider-Man 3 sets. -

Two nitpicks - as of now Shang-Chi sets are planned for a May release date; Avengers sets are coming out in June, not July. Also, if you want it to be "1HY sets only", the Avengers sets shouldn't be here - they are considered as 2HY releases. -

Sorry if my reply was confusing. I meant that they are either comicbook based or Square Enix based. That wasn't a confirmation that they are continuing those loosely SE based sets. Nope, he's just saying that we'll see if they are SE based or not. -

Simply, no. Avengers sets are comicbook / Square Enix based sets. Disney+ set is a set based on a Marvel D+ series (most likely TFaTWS, that's speculation tho). Spider-Man sets are most likely Spider-Man 3 sets. -

Is there any reliable leaker here that can confirm if those Spider-Man sets are actually MCU Spider-Man sets? I know they most likely are (thanks to release date), but we've never gotten such a weird wave for ANY movie - not only is there a 4+ set, but all of them have the same price. -

Yeah, I suppose the $15 set is Batcycle, $40 is Batmobile and $70 is (most likely) Batcave. -

Won't we? I don't think The Batman will be delayed any further - it's far enough for them to not only perfectly finish the movie, but the vaccine will be working by the end of the year. That means the sets are coming on Jaunary 1st 2022, which means that: we will see those sets (official pictures, leaked or not) near the end of the year, in like November - leaked pictures can come sooner; as for the info, we will probably learn it much sooner than that. -

On good note, at this point it's basically confirmed that The Batman sets are 76179 ($15), 76181 ($40) and 76182 ($70). All the set numbers for this year's Marvel sets leaked, and none of them include those 3 sets. -

I did not expect that AT ALL. First of all, 6 Avengers sets?! My god, that's a lot. I expect 18+ $70 set to be a helmet, and I hope the near-2000 piece one will be based on something cool. Secondly, only ONE Disney+ set? That's not really a lot... so I guess they have 4 series to choose from - WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki and What If...? - my bet would be on TFaTWS. Also, this set releases in August, so it would make sense if it would be based on Loki (which will end in July). Last but not least, only 3 $20 Spider-Man sets?! That's exciting and disappointing at the same time. Exciting because I'll definitely be able to afford them all, but disappointing because that doesn't seem like a lot... and why is one of them 4+? That sucks. -

No way. Wow, is it really happening? That's fantastic news. It's probably gonna be comicbook based, so I will probably end up with only a Harry Potter calendar, but that's great news. It seems unlikely, but 2022 has potential to have the greatest Lego Advent Calendar ever - Guardians of The Galaxy: Holiday Special. Just imagine this! -

I'm not sure who you mean tbh. I mean it would be nice to get characters like Agnes or Monica in a set, but quite honestly I'd rather get another Wanda and Vision variant, as they are all so different from one another. -

If we're throwing ideas for sets, I honestly would love a set that's similar to Friends Central Park set, only smaller. It would have the living room with a dinner table and a kitchen in the back. It would be pretty fantastic if they made half of it in colour and the other black and white, with one half having details from 70's, 80's and 90's, and the other from 50's and 60's. The minfigures could be just Wanda and Vision, but 3 variants for both if them - 50' / 60's, 70's / 80's and Halloween. They could also include the twins as babies. -

It wouldn't, why would one dinosaur out of what, like 20, be brickbuilt? -

Not really a good idea, and definitely not a one Lego would do. They don't do things like this - the most "split between sets" thing they've done is splitting 6 Infinity Stones or 6 Knights of Ren. -
Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
THELEGOBATMAN replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think we can all agree that making this year's list of sets is a very hard job. Are there any comicbook sets? How many Spider-Man 3 sets are there? Are there any Disney+ sets, and if so which set numbers they'd use? I think a "just rumour that you should take with a huge grain of salt" isn't actual information, and definitely not one we should trust. And just because someone desperately wants there to be as many Spider-Man 3 sets as possible, doesn't make this info any more reliable. -

I wouldn't count on it, especially after what @Falconfan1414 says. The "rumblings from the source" is most likely a guess I'd say. -
Harry Potter 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

I honestly think the books in a series format would be fantastic - one season for one book, one episode for one chapter. The difference is, I think it would work much better if it was animated. No one would complain about reboots and recasts. And on the side they could continue the live-action universe. -

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
THELEGOBATMAN replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Finished building Trouble on Tatooine a few days ago, and it's a great set. The builds are really cool and somehow unique, especially to SW. Baby Yoda looks really cute. Oh man, The Mandalorian looks fantastic tho. Printings are fantastic, and that helmet doesn't look nearly as bad as it looks in some if the pictures. Sure, it's definitely not perfect, but nor is it awful. It's... acceptable. -

I mean sets like that had a lot of really big pieces on the other hand.
