  1. Don't they have those already? I call them Bricklink packages
  2. Very cool build - I must say that sliding shelf is by far my favourite part - it looks so real! really well done.

    Bank

Interesting build. When I first saw it I was very confused (I tend to look at pictures before reading) and I thought it was weird having a guy with a whip outside a bank then I read the instructions Some nice details you have in there like the sofa, and the 'teeth' or 'foot' on the walls! Though for the frog pond in the back, I would use some tiles instead of the 2x2 jumper plates - those studs distract the eye!
  4. Is the store before a hurricane? It looks like the store's been looted! Once again nice clean build - and I do like the sticker work. My only serious comment is that it does look a bit empty - shelves and the back lot, the stuff you do have in there is very nicely done, but when I go to hardware stores I picture huge isles of packed shelves. You might want to add more things to 'sell' and maybe some potted plants/trees or something to sell?
  5. I'm with KDM - that's one awesome sword stuck on his head Overall I'm really liking the lines and the shape you have, the forward tilting torso is very cool. and it looks like it has a lot of possibility which is always a hard and cool thing to do with these mechs. Overall lots of win. Though I'm not too big of a fan of the feet, the front looks great, but the back seems a bit ... hefty. I'd expect it was done this way to provide enough counterbalance to stand the mech up ... but it's LDD - you could make it stand on a antenna if you wanted ;) Anyways cool beans!
  6. Wow I think this is probably the best 'action' scene I've seen ... Really fantastic work at capturing the 'wind' I also particularly like the layers of trans clear over the blue - makes it really look like surf. Well done!
  7. Nice little build :) Though I kinda liked the big giant rock door - it's like a medieval safe room! can't wait for interior shots! Keep up the good work!
  8. Right... "Children" Just like how I build fighters for "Children" to swoosh them
  9. WOW. That panel work is fantastic. It's my favourite part by far... Very nice clean build. No Roof though?
  10. If only people made real furniture this cool - and out of LEGO - I'd buy :D Very nicely done - I designs are clever and well built. and fantastically organized into a catalogue :) Ironically - like LEGO - I think your prices are a bit high.
  11. Yeah... I confess the stud/teeh gaps were completely unintentional - this is actually quite large, so when I was building it I didn't look too closely at some of the details - more the over all slopes and shapes - it isn't till it's photographed it comes out - and honestly I didn't really notice it till you guys mentioned it. BUT NOW that you bring it up NEXT TIME I will definitely try to do it on purpose Thanks :) It actually turned out a lot better than in my head! It's not to late bud! There's plenty of awesome saucers from AC line. Two brave motherships gave their lives to create this drone. Dammit. Yeah I noticed that after I had taken the pictures and taken everything down... I was hopping no one would notice the the overlap of weapons. Though Technically I had put in the front prongs more as 'whiskers' sensors... which makes my mistake even worse.
  12. I'm a big fan of rockwork - and this is great. Nice sloping and shaping all around. And of course the little details is what always catches my attention - the little skeleton hands on the elevators, the floaty carts, the control room that you can just barely see inside... great stuff!
  13. I saw (most?) of these on flickr... But I'll chime in here again cause I LOVE this moc. The build itself is fantastic. Interesting and fun take on the 'standard' flying saucer. But what really floats my boat is the play action of the capsule. And that lab is hot. Though I'm surprised there isn't some docking action between the saucer and the lab.
  14. The Si-Ma.K 42 class Starfighters are Autonomous sentries deployed both around planetary bodies as well as deep space. They are capable of laying dormant for years only cycling up to intercept incoming contacts. These Robotic guardians provide a cheap and effective means of providing a scalable protective net around your most precious star clusters. The Drones can be equipped with a wide assortment of protective measures, from light shells to destroy incoming asteroids to a full squads equipped with Ion Rays to destroy the largest of capital ships. Detailed shots in my Flickr Stream -- Comments / Criticism / "I don't like what you did there" statements are always welcome.
  15. Wow. Great little moc. But your miniaturized delorean is brilliant!
  16. Wow... these are simply ... brilliant. The use of shapes is crazy. and you've definitely done stuff I didn't think possible. I think I have to get LDD just to figure out how you did these amazing pieces. Well done sir. I tip my hat to you.
  17. Neat! It reminds me of the old space invader games ;) You need a triangular cockpit though
  18. Wow! I'm glad someone bumped this back up - I totally missed it earlier - lovely job. Awesome build.
  19. hehe fun theme! I'll give it a go: Indy thought Snakes were bad... that was before he went underwater treasure hunt'n Original Avatar Underwater Adventure Avatar:
  20. Wow! absolutely stunning. I like the repetitive symmetrical patterns of the towers and the plateau. It's a very clean build - it looks like that castle could take quite a beating! Though no moat? And that path seems a bit stingy for a castle of this size - I would suspect that roads this close to a major castle would be paved? - just a thought.

    Canadian Eh?

The 'grand opening' I believe is always a weekend - Fri-Sat-Sun. With freebies every day. If we're all going to camp out we should all wear something recognizable so we figure out who's who
  22. What? Delta - you crazy! Prickly Petal is by far the best one! look how cute it is! Fun mechs TenorPenny!
  23. Thanks for all the comments guys & gals :) Many apologies guys , I don't do SW mocs much and I don't often come to the SW forums. I didn't realize the proper place to put this, please by all means put this in the 'funny' thread. They're 'action minifigs' not 'dolls' and who does't like playing with them? I'm not ashamed to say I had way too much fun setting this shot up. Oh there are other uses too! it's great for cuddling at night. HAHHAHA I didn't even think about it. I must have done it subconsciously.
  24. WOW. WOW. WOW> WOW> where to start? Story - fantastic. interesting and told extremely well through your moc. the build - what is there to say, it's brilliant. as someone who just tried playing with cheese wedges - it looks simple and it's easy on a table, but to actually put a frame around it and make it all work - whole new respect for the people that can execute it well. And not ONLY that, you decided to build it into a circular and very clean base - simply astounding. and all the great details in the room (the sheets on the bed!) and and the 1x1 trans tiles in the stain glass wow. -- only thing I'm not a fan of is the 1x1 round plates in the center- I think you could have done something slightly more interesting - though me thinks you might have a plan for that particular pool ;)
  25. Yay another Torontian! AND a spacer to boot! Hopefully I'll run into ya at the lego store or some other event! Welcome to EB!
