Expensive :-/ The public is cool cause you get to see all the display, but really the events are all about the non-public hours, the time when you get to spend with the AFOLs. what the agony and struggles of setting up and rebuilding your crushed displays! or watch the agony and struggles of getting up after an all night build-bender.... I would seriously recommend signing up as an attendee and hanging out one of the non public days... even if you're not there the entire weekend. ... If you're going to going to come stateside, you should go to Brickworld. There's a slightly large EB contingent ... Just saying

After such a great time at Brickworld, I was planning on coming to Brickcon... but things aren't looking good. I was going to crash at a friends and that invitation looks to be revoked But I'll definitely look to head to west coast next year, either BrickCon or Bricks by the Bay.

Normally I would point out "it's a lot like your other Mech" ... but even though it's the same basic frame DAMN.... That looks amazing. Once again the build is spectacular. The Decal work is nothing short of brilliant. I wish you lived closer - then I could pay you to decal up my mocs Seriously great work and fantastic presentation as always ... what's up next?

heheh. Great build. You've really captured the whole Da Vinci style feel here It's obvious that the wings flap - so I would suggest next time have a render where the wings are in a different position in case people don't realize

I had such a ridiculously good time at Brickworld this year, so when I heard we could enter designs for the Event Kit, I knew I had to create one. Going with the theme Heroes vs Villains I present Bluey the hero underdog vs Redder the Monster.

Simple. Funny. Awesome. Great job

I think I'm just goin to start calling you Mark of Awesome! Really nice build! I really liked some of the piece usages and the colour selection. Though there seems to be gaps between the cockpit! How can Mark of Orion breath? Though is there an interior? it looks like it's boxy enough to fit a few guys in there

I was looking at the Ninja Mech and thought that was coolest.... But I don't know... the Phoenix mech with the fire is pretty cool :) Now I can't decide!

Great use of the glow in the dark pieces... BUT WHAT IS HE SAYING!??! I don't read Chinese But LEGO transcends language, and I can read that this build was COOL.

Definitely a nice unique shape to the mech. That forward leaning cockpit is awesome. I particularly like the last shot for some reason - the weapons loadout is really nifty. Nice build! Thanks for sharing.

University challenge up!

Petraea University Challenge! In a time before the elemental wars. Before High King Draconius's fathers ruled the throne, there was a great Library at Petraea. The library, it was told, was once the base of Pirate Scholars who pillaged the world for the most valuable treasure - not gold or gems, but knowledge. But as they became the wealthiest knowdegers they realized that stealing knowledge wasn't as effective as producing it. So they set forth to create a place of knowledge - Petraea University! So come, one come all, build up this university with us! What Build parts of the university, build the inside, build the outside? there is no map or plots to fill - only ideas. Ideas for you to build. Who Anyone! ... But Kaiphlin first! As this is located in Kaliphlin's capital - Kaliphlin members will have oppurtunity to build first - till Oct 1st. After which point anyone from any guild is welcome to build! Voting tentatively scheduled Dec1st. Why? PRIZES! I will be offering at least two prize packs (more entries equals more prizes)! Fantastic lighting effects! The red light and the floor in particular worked fantastically with the effects. And yay building space! Though you should post more pictures / links to gallery Nice job, hope to see more Sci-fi builds form you.
