Why do the Monkey Kid sets sound exactly like Ninjago sets?

Considering the sorceror seems to be wearing a mask.. higher chance he's Clouse now?

Just saw someone post Jay and Nya's summer 2020 suits. They look cool, interesting that they seem to be wearing the Season 11 suits under the armor.I get what people mean when they say that Ninjago being an all-encompassing theme removes the need for other themes, but it is kind of funny that the Ninja are wearing knight costumes like two years after Nexo Knights ended.

From what I've gathered by skimming the Bionicle lore, the Ninjago equivalent would be a flashback arc about the previous Elemental Masters, and then going back to the present to a new team doing something while the Ninja are busy (would probably have to be their children if they wanted to keep elements the same). That'd be interesting, but many Ninjago fans.. really dislike change (as evident by reactions to the past few years of changes). It'd be difficult to pull off switching to new main characters so late into the series' run.

Ah, those were just side characters. The Bionicle reboot was connected to the original?

You could also say that about Sons of Garmadon. Or.. Rebooted. How long until a hard reboot? Surely they'll want to restart the story at some point to make it more accessible to newcomers. It feels like they've been tiptoeing around doing it for a while now. I don't know how good a job Season 8 and Season 11 do at being starting points when you'd still have to watch the previous seasons to understand what's going on. By someone, you mean?

I think most people get that at this point. The current storyline is what I'm concerned about ending at some point. Even if it did really bad it'd probably just go on hiatus for a couple years max.

Huh, this is is the first time in a while that it doesn't even get a mention in the annual report. *quick skim of previous reports* Last times were 2013 and 2014. It could be a sign that the end is near, or it could just be an off-year. At this stage in its lifetime though, it could mean the theme is finally losing its steam. I don't think they'd cancel it immediately though, Bionicle's original run lasted to 2010 after "not showing growth" in 2007 and not being mentioned in following reports up to its cancellation. If Ninjago doesn't do better in the next couple years, that's probably it. If worse comes to worse, I just hope the creators get enough heads up to build up to an ending. Ideally over the course of another multi-season arc.

Because the channels that broadcast it can air whenever they want, and often other shows that get higher ratings take priority over it.

Yes, and he may have claimed that based on that info to look legit. Spinners used to be a trading card game, didn't mean that Ninjago is like Yu-Gi-Oh or something.

Garmadon had spiky black hair in the rare times he was seen without his helmet in Seasons 1 and 2.

I see three black figures. One is obviously Garmadon, one is between Nya and Jay so is probably Cole, and one is between Garmadon and Kai and appears to be shorter than the others.

If it is kid Lloyd, I wonder what he'll look like. Golden Lloyd and Samurai Nya have their post-movie designs, so probably not like his classic face. Reusing a post-movie head, kidified version of movie head (big eyes, small mouth).. maybe even black eyes that could make an accurate Season 9 Lloyd.

So... there's still a chance that Clouse could still be coming back?

It's "Spinjitzu" with a "z" That was addressed by one of the creators, I think. They thought it sounded dumb.

That was likely based on the set names that we've all seen. I recall a popular leaker was vaguely hinting at a Clouse return a few months ago, but.. meh.

Fair enough, most people wouldn't even know Clouse is in the Underworld. But.. knowing that he is, making a season where Skeletons led by a sorcerer are the villains, it sounds like the weirdest decision to me. I guess this is just the year of the Ninja being trapped in games.

Huh, they do usually wear the same hood type for a few seasons. Maybe they could repurpose the visor that way. Going from tech-focused to an underwater civilization seems kind of jarring, but I guess if Ninjago is going to go on for a while, it'll eventually do that plot.

We only know of 4 sets in the summer, but does that necessarily mean those will be the only ones? Summer set lists usually don't leak until around now. If not, maybe they're saving up budget for big 10th anniversary stuff.
