Yet another small but marvelous model from you. I still remember your Aston Martin DB5 very well. Have you thought of using those new 1x4 wedges (part no. 5414/5415) instead of 1x4 curved slopes at the rear to give it a more roundish look? Also the roof looks a bit wide for me. Maybe 4 studs instead of 5 work better. Nevertheless a fantastic model! You proved once again that it just needs a handful of parts to create a masterpiece. The frontpage is well earned. Hope to see more from you soon.

Thanks! Indeed this was one of the few tricky details to design. So do I, thanks! Thanks for the frontpage! Fingers crossed to finally seeing a proper LEGO train station once again. Thanks, much appreciated! Those small train models were a little tricky but create fun to design. I do love those wrought iron details, too. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much! Thanks, much appreciated! Thanks!

Now that sounds better than Dodge Viper. We will most probably see a new 4x8x1 mudguard piece introduced similiar to the 3x6x1 windscreen they used for the 10242 Mini.

Great submission, well done! I would love to see a proper vehicle as a finalist but unfortunately I do have some doubts. The brick build-built flames look okay but not too great imho. Still I love that you prefer them over stickers. Did you consider adding a steering system? It would make the model even more desirable. I vote for it even though the price of estimated 130€ might be a bit steep. Good luck with this and your various other entries! It's nice to see a talented builder like you design very different models. By the way: great video creating and editing skills!

Thanks! Thanks! I had to choose between a conventional station or a railway museum and went for the latter. Thank you very much! Great to hear someone spotting the defibrillator. Thanks for your kind words!

Hi everybody, this is my first post in the Train Tech forum and hopefully not my last. I designed an old railway station inspired by Victorian architecture. The station hosts a museum for railway stuff such as a small model railway and a steam locomotive. Being usually a 1/12 car guy I really enjoyed this new challenge. I have already started to work on my next historic station. If you like my model feel free to support it to help it become an official LEGO BDP model: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-8/3080/Victorian-Railway-Museum Thank you very much!

Given the rumoured price tag, the fact that it is an American sportscar and the many curves of the origianl car it should be a very easy pass. However I am curious for the official images and hope to be proven wrong.

I really like your model a lot. It is instantly recognizable and would easily beat many of the Speed Champions set if it was an official model. The one detail that bothers me are the headlights. They are a little small and should be slightly angled. Apart from that it is a really great model and I do not think it can be improved significantly. I feel tempted to go for a 8-wide RUF Yellowbird now. ;-)

I like the Lego version much better than the Bluebrixx model. Both are not perfect by any means and the Lego car might not be that much closer in terms of proportions. But as a brick built model it looks far more appealing to me and uses more sophisticated building techniques. Comparing the prices you have to consider that you get a licensed model, printed tyres, an exclusive minifgure, 200+ parts more, licensed stickers, printed instructions and a real original box when buying the Lego set. Prices will drop easily to 50€ (in Germany at least) while Bluebrixx charges 35€ (including unlicensed stickers). I was tempted to give Bluebrixx another try after two disappointments but I will wait patiently for 10353. Very rarely you hear me advocating Lego. This time things are very clear to me though.

@HTM Thank you very much! A short update: - I added some details mainly to the rear end and amended the front part very slightly. - The ground clearance at the front looked perfect but there was too much ground clearance at the rear half of the car. Also the sidepods are 11.5 plates high. So I decided to lower them by half a plate to get the top edge "in system" and reduce ground clearance by half a plate. Although I only build parts of the model in real life to test stability it is already quite sturdy even without thoese new suspension arms. I am still searching for some elegant connections to increase stability of the rear spoiler and side wings though. - It turns out that some details cannot be recreated at this scale. The new suspension arms are too thick and thus sit too high to cover them partly by tiles or wedge plates (rear axle). So I decided against any form of cover. Also the part behind and next to the cockpit cannot be recreated too well. I will rather go for smooth looks than authenticity here.

A couple of weeks ago I got my hands on the 10330 Senna F1 Icons set. Its new suspension arms and a bunch of 49.6x28 tyres I found while rearranging my parts collection got me into designing F1 cars again - about 20 years after my last attempt. This is what I managed to build in two nights' time. Some parts are still quite rare such as 1x6 slopes in lbg + black and 2x8 curved slope in lbg. So I will try to finish the digital model first before ordering the missing parts. Some building techniques are obviously very similar to those used in 10330. Of course there will be no functions apart from steering. Most probably I need to create some custom decals to get a proper look. And hopefully I can come a lot closer to the original than 10330 managed to. (Please note: that misplaced 2x3 Nexo Knight tile is a rendering error by studio.)

Thanks! Thanks! Those curved slopes are perfect for the bathtub. Thank you very much for your kind words! It is nice to get some positive comments at last. To be honest I had no idea if the interior details were too much or too little since this was my very first modular building. Currently I am working on another building for BDP series 6. It will not really be a modular building and the theme will be slightly different this time yet similar to the B&B. Hopefully the interior design can convince you once again. ;-)
