    Yeah, the feet aren't great. It's actually remarkably sturdy; the legs are thin but very well-balanced. In fact, the little expedition hardsuit is probably more tipping-prone than the Illuminati mech.

    When you get down to it, though, even Brickforge, which has one of the wider arrays of parts for a 3rd-part vendor, only sells a fairly small range of parts, and those are the ones that AFOLs probably want most. And even then, BrickForge isn't perfect- I've ordered some stuff from them, and certain of their helmets are a very tight fit with the minifig head, to the point where I need to use pliers to remove the minifig head from the helmet.

    Cute? They're supposed to be grizzled adventurers! In all honesty, though, I did try to make them appealing to both children and AFOLs. Side note: In designing female characters, it's often kind of difficult to make them recognizably female without making them "too female," if you get my drift. Hopefully I accomplished that with these characters.

    It wouldn't be a new version of Brikwars, per se, just another wargame that tries to incorporate the good aspects of Brikwars and other games into a new play experience.

    So I've got my new Cuusoo project up. It's a mix of dieselpunk (think Jon Hall's stuff), steampunk, and classic Adventurers themes. I've made sure to include characters that are fairly interesting (with lots of parts that customizers should like)... And if you're the type to be more inclined to create vehicles, you're well covered thus far: That's for sky-fi fans... And this bad boy is for the mecha-lovers out there. If you're interested in supporting, do it now! If not (or even if you're already a rabid fan), comments, criticism, and helpful pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    I've got several of these sets, and I've noticed this with a couple of the horses. I just squeezed the "halves" of the horse together and it went away.

    I'm not 100% sure that this belongs here, as there is a Games forum, but that seems to be for forum games. I was wondering if there would be any interest in a brick-based tabletop wargame- I know Brikwars exists, but it's devolved into a morass of puerile humor and the release of the next edition seems to have stalled. I've got a nice rule set I'm working on as a personal project, and I was wondering how people would be interested in a fun minifig-scale game that mixes the best bits of Brikwars and the excellent Mobile Frame Zero tabletop mech game.

    I have one- the way the bricks are connected in the cockpit area is extremely difficult to take apart- most little kids couldn't do it. As for it being pulled? As far as I know, it was on the shelves as long as any other set- I got mine a year after release at clearance prices.

    I actually didn't think about this, but the Mark I should be able to be made by an enterprising customizer today- all the parts exist in the proper colors.

    So I just saw Iron Man 3- I have to say, from what I could determine, my renditions are pretty accurate. - I think the rest of the suits are basically just from video games, add-on comics, etc.

    That sneaky picture doesn't look legit to me. Its style isn't consistent with the other official images I've seen.

    Next up; the Striker suit and maybe Hammerhead. Here's Nightclub (I couldn't find anything on "Sneaky"- I think it's a mistaken name for the Nightclub suit (?)).

    Yeah; I'll probably do the War Machine Mark I. There's not photo reference for the rest of them (unless someone can find any). Also, the Iron Drones, Whiplash, and Iron Monger aren't Iron Man suits; just robots or villain suits. The Iron Monger's better suited to being brick-built anyway, in my opinion. EDIT: And here's the Mark I War Machine suit.

    I'm working on them. For the gun- attach binoculars to gun piece. Attach the 1x1 clip (one of these or these) to his neck bracket, and attach the gun to the neck bracket. If you can't get it from there I'll do pictures. I might release the textures I used, but making decals out of them is not my area of expertise.

    Someone who was decently competent with 3D modeling could do that fairly easily. It looks real to me, though.

    I haven't seen the film yet, so I can't comment on the accuracy; I don't know why they didn't use the space gun/binocular combination, as they use the space gun piece for everything in the Superheroes line. The big thing for me was that it allows the gun to protrude over Rhodey's shoulder, not just hang there limply in the back.

    Thanks for the tip- Balancing detail and being "Lego-ish" is hard, but I've changed the Shotgun, Silver Centurion, and Gemini armors to have thicker lines, as per your advice.

    To celebrate the upcoming release of the Iron Man 3 movie, I created minifig designs for every film suit. (If I left any out, let me know.) Comments and criticism are very much appreciated. This is the official minifig design, with an improved minigun. For those interested, it's made out of a neck bracket, one 1x1 clip, a space gun, and some binoculars. I've got a version that has missiles too; expect pictures soon. For some reason, the helmet angle makes this guy. I also liked the leg detailing on the film version, so I tried to pull out the details there and Lego-fy them. Doing this guy was fun. I'm not sure what he does in the movie, but his repulsor looks like a Roman collar. I imagine him as the chaplain of the Iron Legion. ;) The official Extremis armor, with gold arms. (The three actual minifigs of these that I own have gold arms, so I went with that for the CG version.) Identical to the official minifig. Identical to the official minifig. This was probably the hardest to design in terms of torso detailing, but the end result looks official. I'm not 100% satisfied with this guy, but it's recognizable. This is basically a recolored Mark III with rivets slapped on. This one is easily my favorite. This is a slight redesign of the official LEGO version. This was the longest one to design, especially with the complex torso plating. I actually just finished a Gemini suit render for Solid Brix Studios, but this is a separate design that fits my own tastes a bit better. Whew! I hope you enjoyed them!

    It's probably a case of the admins discovering a bad vote- either someone voted twice, used dummy accounts, hacked the system, etc. I noticed it several times with Space Marines.
