  1. Excellently done chaps! Some very deserved winners there.
  2. "I know, I know, calling me a fool makes it all seem better, eh? Take note that I never mentioned your name there, miss, but you're welcome to fill in the gaps if that's what you want. You might have noticed that I have neither a tonic nor a whacking staff on my person right now, and so expecting any healing or fancy effects cast is pretty much wishful thinking. I hazard a guess that you also could have seen that I'm the one holding all of the scrolls right now, but lack any ether to utilise them. What do you think, should I use up my chance to hit by passing them on to someone else? Maybe one of you people could take the time to pass me a tonic or such thing, maybe even one of those staves? Or would that be risking your valuable turn, that is worth so much more than any of ours?" Haldor added with a sigh: "Oh, and please just don't evade my words by insulting me again, it isn't going to help anyone."
  3. "Bloody typical, this is. Since I haven't much of a hope in hell to be healing anyone right now, and certain people can't be arsed to hand over their equipment to those who could use it, I'd best just whack the damn thing." Haldor attacks the floor from the back row.
  4. That is honestly one of the best pieces of LEGO photography I've ever seen, it even looks as though the floor is wet!
  5. Beast quote! And then, once Wren has inevitably razed the hall to the ground, one of us can shoot her, shouting " "
  6. Nah, end it like Ashes to Ashes, where everyone just goes off to the pub (with the whole series being essentially one big metaphor).
  7. "Aye, I'll take your staff if you don't mind miss. I'll use it next turn once I'm finished making all of you folks lucky."
  8. I've always considered that everything in Heroica happens at the same time, dates are meaningless to me since they make a huge game like this so confusing. In my mind, the heroes are in the hall now, not last month; I can't be doing with worrying about how the space-time continuum runs.
  9. I disagree, Monk Pretzel would probably relish the chance to call the whole lot a group of 'weirdoes' if he had half an opportunity.
  10. Couldn't have put it better myself.
  11. "Aye, I can help you out here." Haldor casts the lucky effect on Cronk twice, until he is successful, and if he is on the first go, he will attempt to make Nyx lucky also.
  12. Literally the best enemy that I've ever fought in Heroica, closely followed by Bluehood's rug.
  13. Haldor replies to Hoke. "Aye, I took his hide while none of you lot were looking, but there isn't much time to be making cloaks at the moment, unfortunately. Right, now we're supposed to be smashing this floor, eh?" The nord looks around awkwardly at his allies for a brief moment. "Well, are we going to do it or not?" Haldor stamps oddly on the floor whilst trying not to fall over, from the er, front row.
  14. "Goodnight Vonnetate." Haldor silently turned about and began to follow the others, there was no joy to be felt in death. But at last, it was over, the beast was slain.
  15. Haldor looked at Vonnetate, and could see in the beast's eyes that he knew the end was near. It seemed admirable to go to one's death with so little fear, but all of this admiration was washed away by the cruelty and unecesary brutality that Vonnetate stood for. Silently, the nord executed his actions. First, he moved in to heal Dyric and himself, while also casting the spell of armour sundering on his foe Vonnetate, and the scroll of lucky on his ally Hoke.
  16. Argh, don't remind me of that undead battle.
  17. I've never experianced any grass that TASTES soft, generally the texture is coarse and thin, you must have very interesting grass over where you live. I almost envy you! Not that I have actually tasted any grass at all, this is entirely supposition based on an educated guess, I don't generally go around munching on blades of it to sample the flavour. Don't all swords make people bleed?
  18. Never having McColt break his cool, Haldor was slightly surprised, but eager to get the battle over and Vonnetate killed. "Doesn't look so good for you now, eh Vonnetate? If I didn't know you better, I'd say that you're running a little scared." The nord lets out a cold chuckle, and sets about weakening his long-time foe with the scrolls he had been lent. He prepares to cast the spell of armour sundering in quick succession with all of his four available turns. If he is successful with three of the spells, Haldor will attempt to make Vonnetate fragile with the fourth.
  19. Tastes softer? What kind of grass are you eating?
  20. Maybe he likes Lord of the Rings references?
  21. Haldor nodded to his friends' suggestions, and moved in to execute his actions. The nord healed both Skrall and Dyric, whilst also trying to seal Pongcanis Warrior A.
  22. Wow, I'd forgotten all about that. Etzel, I'd be honoured to run this in a little PM out-of-quest side-quest once Haldor is finished saving the world. Since Jess hasn't appeared for months now...
  23. It wouldn't, Jebs is trying to make a point.
  24. Haldor thought again. "Ah, actually I'd better not be offering myself up for any free hit absorbing, that big bastard would knock me for six."
  25. Haldor cursed quietly, but kept up his expression. "Ain't gonna happen Vonnetate, now lie down and take it before I make you. Folks, you should all heal yourselves up while I try and pacify this little worm. I'm more than happy to take his free hit too, if that'd help." The nord unfurled his scrolls once again, firing first sleep, then armour sundering onto Vonnetate. However, he would also be sure to try again with the sleep if he failed first time. Haldor also will keep himself in the back row in case of having to take any free hits.
