  1. I hate to jump in so abruptly: but are there any rumours, confirmed or otherwise, as to any future Batman sets?
  2. "Bet they're real clever girls too. Come on, lads, let's get going."
  3. Oh, by the way Sandy, do you mind if we roleplay-murder the leaders of a few houses while you're away? I don't think it'll mess up your storylines too much if the Hinckwells and Shadeux get some new leadership.
  4. What do you mean? Haldor's been a dragon all along, don't you see the resemblance? = You see? Exactly the same!
  5. Haldor looks sideways at Benji. "I just don't get you, Carvenhall. For most of what we've done here, you seemed the fairly average bloke; yet all it took was one drawn-out fight and you're growling like a hound. Now you're looking calm again, which is great, but sure as hell confusing. Try to keep your head on next time, be a man, if you will. I'm not having you burst out like that while we still have a job to do. Don't help nobody if we're working against ourselves." He then faces the rest of the group. "Well then, we've only one job left. The velo-veloci- things, which our fine guides here described as something to watch out for. That means these creatures are bloody dangerous bastards, so you might want to start filling your heads with drink if it helps you fight. Make it known when you're done, and we'll be off to finish this task." In preparation, the nord brings out some smelling salts and begins to inhale them in bemused silence. Loot: Benji - Nostrum Haldor - Reptillian Scale Heckz - Tonic, Elixir Jeaux - Smelling Salts Tarn - Venom, Bone
  6. I'm sorry for the rude reply, t'was a bad morning.
  7. You can't possibly say that. If you'd suggested ideas earlier, they would have been put in play. Sometimes things don't occur to me, and you should be pointing them out, not blaming them on me. The truth, and you know it, is that you didn't think of the counterstriking strategy until Flipz thought of it either.
  8. Haldor winks at Benji. "Ever hear that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit? Oh, I suppose not..." He then turns to Tarn. "Mate, I'm afraid it's now your turn again. Go on, see if you can finish this now." Battle Order: Tarn - Counterkilling lizard A Benji Benji et all...
  9. "Hmpf, nothing to do but keep trying." Once more into the breach, my friends, once more! Again.
  10. "Yeah, why not? Can you see now, half-elf, things get done when folks aren't scrambling for personal glory?" Revised Battle Order: Benji - Taking free hit Benji - Taking free hit Haldor - Atttacking lizard one Alan - Attacking only if Haldor fails to kill lizard one et all...
  11. "Good hit, but now's the part requiring the greatest precision. You've done well, Carvenhall, if me saying that makes you feel better. I'll be taking this last bit if you please. You alright to take hits?" Haldor moves in to finish off lizard A from the front row. Battle Order: Benji - Taking free hit Benji - Taking free hit Haldor - Attacking first lizard et all...
  12. Sorry! "Now, the first rule of leading a group is learning to use what you've got. We're here with a madman with whatever his remaining mind set on attacking, we have to construct our strategy around that. Half-elf, now I'm going to prove to you that I'm not churlish and a reasonable bloke; so you can hit the thing if there's nothing possible to make you stop and it affects you so dearly. On the other hand, if you lay a finger on that chicken or one too many lizards, I'll be taking your head by the time we're done, fair?" Battle Order: Benji - Attacking first lizard Benji - Attacking first lizard, will stop if already hit et all...
  13. I'm sorry, but I felt that this was the only way I could express my thoughts about the situation in Quest #67, especially Benji's stage direction: "Morons and fools like him had no place in Heroica"
  14. We'll have to see, I'm sure that Kintobor has something more elegant that just Karie attacks Patricia planned.
  15. Flare, I appreciate what you're trying to roleplay at the moment; however, I'd rather do that when the quest's failure isn't at stake. Yes the chance of killing the foes is small, but 1/12 chance of failing the quest is far worse than no chance at alI. I would ask you to please withdraw Benji's attack this round. I'm not really sure what your point is...
  16. Although desperately not wishing for an argument, Haldor felt that he had to step forward at this point. "Carvenhall, I've been so very patient with you thus far, but please, don't take the piss. You've obviously some serious issues in your life, but I'm not from the right person to help you with these. The fact that you've wet your trousers simply at the thought of not being to prove yourself saddens me, I hate to see a man so deeply ashamed that he must constantly remind everyone that he's the tough guy around. Now let me tell you, Carvenhall, about just how pitiful I find you in this moment. Perhaps you're going for the intimidating look, but it isn't working. I've seen, fought and slain beasts and men who unfortunately make you look like you are trying too hard. Do yourself a favour, grow some balls, apparently it takes a bigger man than you to let others step up for a change." Same plan as last round, please. Order: Benji Benji Tarn Haldor et all...
  17. Now with more of the same!

  18. Ha ha ha! That's brilliant!
  19. "That's exactly what we're looking for, good thinking. Haldor prepares to carry out the plans.
  20. "Damn, why didn't I think of that?" Haldor laughed."Good thing you're all here to keep my head screwed on tight." Revised and hopefully final battle order: Tarn - Counterstriking bird Haldor - Attacking first lizard, receiving lizard free hit Tarn - Potion on self Benji - Nothing Jeaux - Nothing Heckz - Nothing Alan - Nothing Bors - Nothing
  21. Tarn is doing it to himself, and someone else should be to the second lizard. Flare has stated that he'd be okay with going along with my order, so therefore he can step up to help.
  22. Yes, that's the plan. Potion givers are those providing potions this turn, I put them in the order like that because I didn't know who they would turn out to be. "What?"
  23. "I'm far from sure what all that growling is about, Tarn; just relax and let's get on with it, good plan? Seriously, everyone, it's no big deal. We're this close from victory, and if you can't stand that, it sounds like a personal problem." Haldor gestures wildly with his arms in mock terror.
  24. I don't mind the QM breaking up our mid-fight argument that most of Haldor's responses were attempting to avoid.
  25. Ahh... I see where this is going now.
