  1. KielDaMan – Vagabond (1 point) Oky - NightHawk (1 point) Alopex - Nyan (1 point) All the entries are outstanding.
  2. The standard of all these entries is truly astonishing. Ceroknight – Strong Arm (1 point) Oky - Golden Eagle (1 point) sok117 - NightHawk (1 point) Good luck to all!
  3. Give up your quest before it is too late. You'll only discover that Shadows is actually Damien Thorn or your own father or something.

  4. Nooo! I knew it was wrong to kill them. You should have listened to me! Vampires have friends too!
  5. Saved by the offside rule. This is still a fairly even match that could go either way. EDIT: Nooooo! Not the penalties! *covers eyes*
  6. I've changed my mind, Rooney is appaulling. England could have won this by now.
  7. 80 minutes through England vs Italy. Hart has made some great saves (especially when he blocked three shots in quick succession). Both teams have had some nice passes and shots, but Rooney has wasted far too many chances so far. They definatly should have subbed on Carroll in place of St. Wayne the Rooney instead of Welbeck. Go England!
  8. Mine just arrived, complete with Lex in armour! Haven't got round to playing it yet, but it gives me something to look forward to in the morning. I just hope than Two-Face and Riddler have big enough roles in the game. It would be nice if it isn't just all about Lex and Joker (However awesome they may be).
  9. Your Bane is perfect, great conversion from the Hulk. Your skill, as always, is outstanding. If only TLG would make Bane this well!
  10. Updated first vignette picture.
  11. Thanks for the amazing contest, both my entries are complete now.
  12. Nice entry, I love the weapon!
  13. I'll retake the vignette picture a bit later. Thanks.
  14. My Villain entry for the contest: Dr. P.H. Haszard Name: Dr. Paul Harold Haszard, Ph.D. Weapons: Colt Revolver with acid exploding tipped bullets, acid vials. Alliegence: Villain/serial killer. Age: 56. Height: 5ft 7in Weight: 67kg Dr. Paul Harold Haszard, Ph.D, was a chemical scientist working in a Gotham City laboratory. He was a quiet and shy individual, who rarely left the lab, his work was his life and he would do anything to see it through. An easy target for bullying. Paul was pioneering new chemical experiments, and was on the brink of discovering a revelation that could change the face of medicine in Gotham. But, only weeks from his masterpiece's completion, Gotham pulled the plug and Paul lost the funding on his experiment. The hard-working and committed Doctor of Chemistry was forced to shut-down his life's work and go home. But Paul couldn't just leave the experiment that had consumed most of his life, and in desperation he went where he knew he could get the money he needed, the Mob. With funds secured, however blood-soaked they may be, Dr. Haszard could finally complete his dream and earn himself a place in the history books. But it was not to be. Within days the Mob were back, knocking on his door, asking for a return on their loan, calling out threats. Paul did his best to hide from the sinister men, but he couldn't stay cowering forever. He rushed to the Police station in the morning, and pleaded to the cops for protection while he worked. But the corrupt Police were in-deep with the scum of Gotham anyhow, and they turned him away, laughing him out into the street. Their cruelty would be something that they would live to regret. Early the next day, the Mafia assassins caught him unprepared during the middle of a chemical test. Unawares, the Doctor had no chance to defend himself. The Mob shot Paul Harold Hasard in the chest four times and emptied a vial of neat labatory acid onto his face, hideously deforming his features, before burning his beloved workplace to the ground. All the years of hardship and toil were lost in an instant as the Mobsters laughed into the flames. But the corpse of Paul was nowhere to be seen. Police searching an alley near the crime scene later were alarmed when a message written in large green letters was discovered on the wall. The message read a sinister verse: 'The man in black killed me, the man in blue let me die. I will kill the man in black, the man in blue I will let die'. Immediately a warning was sent out that a possible heinous crime was about to be committed. But it was too late, around midnight, five Mobsters and two Policemen were found dead in the basement of a building. They were slumped against the walls, every one of them with their hat covering their face. Upon examination, the post mortems revealed that they had all been shot under the chin and their head largely disfigured from severe acid burns... Dr. P.H. Haszard began a reign of terror over the criminal underworld, slaughtering and mutilating the corpses of nearly one hundred 'cops and robbers'. It didn't take long for the news of a horrific serial killer roaming the streets to reach one Bruce Wayne, but the fact that the bodies were always discovered hours after the terrible deeds had been done meant that little could be done to stop him. The loss of all that he held dear and nearly his life drove Doctor Paul Harold Haszard, Ph.D, to the point of insanity. He was enveloped by a pathological desire for revenge on both the ones who destroyed his life, and the ones who refused to help him. The Doctor even used his technical skill to design bullets with acid exploding tips, which he used to sickening efficiency. He wore black head-wrappings to hide his twisted face, and an old coat was worn to hide his clothes in the shadows. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was inspired to make a horror sort of character when playing Arkham City, with all its murder and death. Dr. P.H. was quite simple to make, besides the coat which the more astute of you may notice is the same custom piece I use for Haldor's furs. I hope at least some of you will get the pun in the name. Costings time!: Torso: £0.64 (Cowboy torso, which is the closest on Bricklink to the Bandit one that I used) Head: £8.38 (Zombie head, I only paid £1.99 for the whole Zombie although) Head-wraps: £0.16 (Ninja head-wraps) Legs: £0.64 (Zombie legs, I only paid £1.99 for the whole Zombie although) Revolver: £0.04 (Classic revolver) Vial of acid: £0.80 (Mad Scientist vial with green fluid) Coat: FREE (Made out of some random fabric from my garage) Total: £10.66 (I only paid about £3.64 for mine although) Thanks for reading, C&C is appreciated.
  15. My Hero entry for the contest: Sentinel Name: Clint Johnson. Abilities: Advanced strength and agility, rapid healing. Alliegence: Hero. Age: 35. Height: 6ft 4in Weight: 275kg Clint Johnson was a Security Guard working in a Gotham city art gallery when he was crippled during a robbery. In the dead of night, a gang of thugs broke into the gallery and began a vicious gunfight with the guards. In the frantic scrambling to call for help, Clint was hit by a stray bullet from one of the robbers. Immediately he fell to the ground and began to bleed viciously, one of the thugs knocked over a large display stand while rushing to secure goods, and the unfortunate Johnson was unable to move in time. He blacked out, his body broken by the heavy wood, leaving the gang robbers to escape with thousands of dollers worth of paintings and sculptures. Clint, barely alive in hospital, was angered at his failure. The doctors told his family than he wouldn't last the weekend. The stricken guard was volunteered to take part in a clinical drugs trial, the newest addition to the medicine cabinet boasting muscle and tissue regenerative abilities. Clint was administered the chemical while in a coma, and the medical staff stood dumbstruck as he was revived from death's door by the fledgling drug. His muscles and flesh was reformed and rebuilt, and the drug kept on restoring him, even to an extent that he never possessed before. When Clint Johnson awoke, he found himself considerably stronger and more agile than he used to be, with a incredibly dense muscle structure; yet functioned with an impressive speed. The drug had given him more than a full recovery. Johnson was still agonising about the success of the raid that nearly killed him, so, with his new abilities, decided to do something about it. Clint constructed a bright yellow and dark blue costume with helmet, and donned the moniker of Sentinel. He called himself the 'Guardian of Gotham City', and made sure that word spread quickly of the newest additiont to the crime-fighting force. In stark contrast to the dark and secretive methods of the Batman, Sentinel would rush in fearlessly, and beat down thugs with a variety of gold-coloured staves and bars, openly demonstrating his skill and great strength as much as possible. Sometimes he would even leave messages for the police as to where they would find the gang members once he had broken them. Clint's new strength was nearly unmatched, and he used his advanced reflexes to always stay one step ahead of the goons. As a bonus, remenents of the drug that had made him still flowed through his veins, causing almost any injury he sustains to be rapidly healed by the fluids. Sentinel patrols the streets of Gotham, and all who come accross him stand little chance of victory. He has worked with Batman on many occassions, usually taking care of the grunts while Wayne deals with the main threat. He is recognised by the media and isn't afraid to be interviewed and filmed, very unlike the attitude of many other heroes. Clint Johnson swears to himself that one day, he will find the art gallery robbers and give them a taste of the Guardian's justice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sentinel's appearance was mainly inspired by me wondering what a yellow skin torso would look like if made to be a costume. I chose the Ocean King's torso, because it had a few less lines, making it look more suitable. There is nothing much on his back, as I wanted to make this an entirely purist entry. One day it would be fun to make a reversed Sentinel in yellow with a 'flesh' costume... The costings!: Torso: £1.52 (Surfer torso, which is the closest on Bricklink to the one that I used) Head: £0.89 (Star Wars pilot) Helmet: £0.46 (Hockey player) Legs: £0.22 (I swapped to yellow hips) Stave: £0.57 (Gold bar with end stop) Total: £3.66 Thanks for reading, C&C is appreciated.
  16. I just hope that their values can shine through and they can get back together again.
  17. I know that WBD, Sisco, and I didn't complete Wren's dreams. As well as the practical aspect, the dreams were largely about role-playing, for example, Wren was trying to convince Jess to leave Haldor, and trying to get Skrall to endanger Dyric. Seeing this insight only makes the quest seem more awesome now Zepher.
  18. Your contest entry really freaks me out.

  19. "Sir, why do you require an alias such as Devega if you are only concerned with honourable deeds of business? Surely you'd want others to hear of your success? Unless you were engaged in happenings that you would not wish to be attributed to the venerable name of Swisshopper. Say what you know is true Sir." Haldor was beginning to dislike the wealthy man, and the plans he spoke of struck the Nord as backstabbing. But what did he know about the world of trade anyway, he was just a rejected Norseman trying his best to make a difference to the atrocious kind of life that the city-goers put up with. Murder, gangs, all kind of crime and treachery were commonplace. Holder tried to pull Jess closer to him, he wanted to try and speak, but she still stood coldly away.
  20. That my friends is how you win a battle.
  21. Oh dear, he's already infected your mind!

*runs away as fast as possible*

  22. Check his profile, seriously, it's very disturbing.

  23. Neither does Alopex, in fact, he just loves it when they lie awake shivering.

  24. You'll be sorry when you see Alopex's evil eye hovering over your bed at night...

  25. Yes! Rone returns!
