  1. Well, I'm torn between the Two-Face and Funhouse sets. You as a Bat-fan will hopefully understand how I have the compulsive need to own both the Riddler and Two-Face, and with me likely purchasing the Batmobile, what should I do to satisfy my evil villain lust for Riddler that I cannot easily quench?

  2. "Ah, so that's how it works." Bemused, Haldor throws the nearest heavy object at Garnet Jinn from the front row. Shame that dear almighty gods can't regulate the chemicals that are passed onto their champions when they are infused with the living energy from their defeated foe. At least the Topaz Jinn was down, he was a snarky idiot after all.
  3. I'm facing a massive Batman dilemma, please help me out Pengy! :0

  4. I just noticed how Heroica is being swarmed by people called Patrica. First it was Captain Patrica, then Patrica Ziegfried, and now Patrica of the pub in Charis. Maybe they're all alien drones sent to conquer the world, or something.
  5. I hope that we can beat Bluehood before then. Thanks for the amazing quest WBD.
  6. "Oh, that is so it. You crossed the line, son." Haldor goes beast mode on Topaz Jinn from the front row.
  7. "I know nothing of suffering? Yet you do? I doubt that you have ever truly experianced suffering or the harsh reality of the world. I fight for the people not of the people. You think that this will save the city? All that will follow is chaos and the death of society. Lawrence's tale would learn you well, giving the weak power when they know not how to use it is dangerous. So get off your high horse or I will rip it from under you." Haldor headbutts Topaz Jin from the front row.
  8. "Bluehood, you have ruined nothing but yourself, and now you're not going to get away from me. Fool, we would have handed you alive to the watch, but now, with this assualt, you will perish here. Your dastardly plans will die with you." Haldor rears up and charges at full-pelt toward the now-grotesque aquamancer. By the point that he is close enough to strike, the Norseman reveals himself to be the Dovakiin, and unleashes the Th'um, FUS ROH DAH! quickly turns back around and swipes at the Topaz Jinn's unprotected rear, from the front row. He tried to avert his gaze from the agile strike of Jess on the same target. Through all the danger and peril they had crossed together, it was the smallest thing that broke their love apart. The time would come for him to face the consequences of his actions, but now the ongoing threat of a madman infused with great power was the worse of his problems. He hoped.
  9. Happy Birthday Dragonator! May you continue to rule over the mafia (and role-play) with an iron fist. Watch out for those police types although, they just don't understand that all the murder and lies are only a game. Don't eat all the sausage rolls, I want one.
  10. Ok, I realise this is a massive overshot into the future, but I'm so hyped about DC Superheroes that I just had to ask this. For christmas this year I'm going to ask some important parties if I can be gifted a Batman set, and both of the ones that I really like are the sort of price that I wouldn't normally fork out for LEGO So it is either: The Batmobile and The Two-Face Chase The Dynamic Duo's Funhouse Escape Price is no object as the one that I choose will be a gift. So, which one is better? Ironically The Riddler and Two-Face are both my favourite Batman rogues, so it is largely a choice between them in the set that I pick. I already have the Batwing set, so the Joker isn't much of an incentive. Thanks, I look forward to your replies.
  11. Just finished the story, and I am thoroughly impressed with it. The diologue was a vast improvement from the miming in other games, and the addition of speech allowed there to be an actual storyline. Now to round up the last few characters! P.S. Where in the park is Brainiac? I've been looking for ages with his face on the minimap.
  12. "Do not think that I can be turned toward what I know is wrong for the sake of your broken lies. Do you even know of what true 'power' is, Bluehood? Power is not the ability to sweep away life at will, or to crush empires at the click of your fingers. Power is not the sharpness of the blade or fighting skill. Power is the chance, the strength, to act and make descisions that will stand for years to come, that will alter the future in the way that you choose. At this instant we all posess great power, for justice or for evil. Bluehood, what by the were you thinking as you elected to cheat and scheme? One such as you, who cannot avoid being devoured by their own furniture, yet you plan to overthrow the whole balance in this city? What did you hope to achieve? What would happen next? When every man from the lowest scum to the highest priest can summon the strength to tear worlds apart, do you think that these men will pay homage to you as the world burns? You are the fool, for even coming this far, and you have only yourself to thank for your own demise. You are arrogantnat to think that you know the nature of real power, when you have but glimpsed its raw form. I stand with Lawrence, and hope that my friends will do the same. You are here to fall tonight Bluehood, regardless of any hidden depths behind your frail visage. I have a debt to Szalinski that you would not understand, and your attempt to take his life is enough for me to kill you here and now. But this is to be done for him, for us, and for the people of Eubric. May your end drive this land forward into a new begining, and may your filth never again taint this land." Haldor stood at his tallest beside Lawrence, his weapon that had tasted so much terrible work held in his hand. Standing strong, standing just. For all to remember how the heroes would put a stop to the wicked deeds of Balthazar Bluehood and save the city. "Farewell. My thanks for the bear claws."
  13. My turn! What the character loves: Jess, making a difference in the lives of people, knowing that he has improved something, victory, good food. What the character hates: Bandits, people who have a superior attitude, crime, people who do not care about what happens to innocents. what the character fears: Dying alone, realising that his whole life has been for nothing, watching his friends die, being abandoned, having Jess leave him and slowly slipping into madness, chaos consuming the world. What the character believes: In the Norse pantheon of Gods, that all dead heroes go to Valhalla, in fighting for the innocents who are victimised, that chaos will destroy all ordered society. What the character values: Friendship, bravery, fighting skill, innocence, honour, respect, order. What the character wants: To die in battle surrounded by his comrades, to be able to have changed Eubric for the better, Jess to take him back and to stay with her. What the character knows about: Fighting, the Norse scriptures, what it is like to be alone. People who made a difference in the character's life: Jess, his friends, Szalinski, Leif. Discoveries that made a difference in the character's life: That Thoric was watching him, the truth about Wren, what the stone that he found actually was, his talent for healing, that Felton was fake. Decisions that made a difference in the character's life: To leave the village, to join Heroica, being brave enough to speak to Jess, to fight for the rebels in the end.
  14. How do you know that someone doesn't want Guts on their party list? Maybe if he were to go around discussing the quest with lots of people, maybe they would want to go with him.
  15. Haldor nodded toward Szalinski as he was taken from the room. It gave Haldor new hope to see the man feeling better. But there were still things that ate at his mind. "While that may be Bartholemew, something about all this doesn't seem right. Is there any particular reason that you do not want this labeled as sabotage? What if we have discovered something to convince us that it is?"
  16. Me gusta! Any Zepher quest is sure to be great, but one with Wren is even better.
  17. "I know that I'd rather not have to spend much more of my time here, so we should go and see Szalinski. I damn well hope that we can actually uncover some of this, and I hope that what we do today can work to improve this blasted city with all its secrets." Haldor spoke quietly to himself, but just loud enough so that Swisshopper can hear. When I find who did this, I'm going to break their back. And then he turned away, with his head down, and his face a pallid mask. This had to change, the gangs and the crime, the murder and assualt, this all had to change. And if no-one else cared, then he would do it himself piece by filthy piece, as long as it takes.
  18. I will break you, for fun.

  19. Still no profile...

Mrs Queen may no longer be my profile picture, but Bane is liable to break you.

  20. You're just lucky that Mrs Queen hasn't yet critisised your profile.

  21. Going commando in 2013? You probably don't realise why I find this absolutely hilarious.

  22. I'm squinting hard at the screen to try and discern something on your profile that I can laugh at.

  23. Well, it really depends on what you mean by 'British Accent'. For a start, I assume that you mean English, as you should remember that the accents of Scotland and Wales are vastly different to those of England. Next, what sort of accent are you intending? For example, do you want Daxus to speak in a Cockney accent? Or Jordy? Which are both just as English as the stereotypical Queen's English. Once again, I shall assume, and think that you are aiming for the Upper Class posh voicing. As well as trying to spell things our way, you might also add a few vibes here and there, such as often comma use and occasional slang terms: "Hello, my name is Daxus Octavian, and I'm a hero from Heroica. I have trained in the rogue class and am happy to help you." Englishified: "Well hello there my good fellow! Octavian's the name, but you can call me Daxus. hero from Heroica dontcha' know. I've had a little bit o' tha' training of a rogue in my time, and you can find me at your service, good sir." Is that the effect that you want.
